Drawing inspiration from the Lyapunov control technique for quantum systems, feedback-based quantum algorithms have been proposed for calculating the ground states of Hamiltonians. In this work, we consider extending these algorithms to tackle calculating excited states. Inspired by the weighted subspace-search variational quantum eigensolver algorithm, we propose a novel weighted feedback-based quantum algorithm for excited state calculation. We show that depending on how we design the weights and the feedback law, we can prepare the pth excited state or lowest energy states up to the pth excited state. Through an application in quantum chemistry, we show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, evaluating its efficacy via numerical simulations. © 2024, CC BY.

The paper is concerned with the control of doubly fed induction generator applied in wind power technology. Assuming stator flux oriented vector control, the torque and power relations are derived. Using the relations, the slip versus torque and slip versus stator reactive power characteristics are drafted in subsynchronous and in supersynchronous state for investigating the control possibilities of the generator side converter supplying the rotor circuit. The effects of the d and q component of the converter output voltage for the torque, power and speed are studies in qualitative and quantitative way. The active and reactive power flows in stator and rotor side are shown.

Derived from the current implementation of the production plan as well as the production schedule, Enterprise Resource Planning software with a built-in production scheduling algorithm helps optimize the uses of resources, reduce production time, increase productivity, and increase customer service levels. In this research, the available management platform (Odoo) with Python as the main programming language is proposed to build a system to support suitable schedule production plans helps shorten processing time and reduce order delay. In addition, the results are shown in detail and can be flexibly modified manually on the Gantt chart. The feasibility of the production scheduling application is shown by the Gantt chart before and after the scheduling. Moreover, the order delay rate has been reduced from 15% to 3.33%. © 2023 IEEE.

Over the last decade, the railway industry has a great evolution about signaling system and there is more orientation from the standard railway signaling system to the communicationbased signaling system day to day. Communications-based train control (CBTC) is a very flexible and useful approach to check train activity and track operation. This system basically build upon radio communication to transfer in time and correct train control information. In this paper, we focus on model the all necessary CBTC elements with finite state automata and build CBTC control architecture with decentralized DES and support the existing control architecture with a three-level hierarchy. For the overall system, we show hierarchical consistency and that the closed-loop behavior is non-blocking. This paper gives an overview of the modelling a discrete event system about CBTC and gives control of CBTC.

Serum was obtained from 25 male renal cell carcinoma(RCC) patients and 21 healthy males.O-glycans were released by a-elimination reaction and purified by graphitized carbon cartridge solid phase extraction,then profiled by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionisation-time of flight mass *** noise removal and peak alignment,1372 peaks were extracted from 200000 data *** peaks were analyzed by calculation of differential sensitivity and *** combination of two feature peaks was chosen as a biomarker and could clearly differentiate RCC and normal samples in our study group.

This study proposes a simple classification method for drivers based on their driving confidence and authority using feedback from steering wheel angle and traction motor current measurement data. Data is collected from 38 drivers on a prototype electric vehicle. For the classification process, the driving performance of each driver is assessed with respect to an expert driver. The data is time-stamped and geo-referenced. The experimental driving data is comprised of the two command inputs that the driver generates to regulate handling and lane-level tracking. Deviations from the expert's performance data are considered to be a measure of potential failure of the driver's confidence and authority leading to a possible accident. The dataset of the participating drivers is processed by extracting the mean, standard deviation, skewness and kurtosis values. Extracted features are evaluated with different classification methods, including KNN.

This paper mainly focus on the feasibility and soft constraint of steady state target calculation, which is one of inherent problem of predictive control. By using two-stage method, the state target calculation can be solved effectively. To guarantee the existence of feasibility domain, weighting and priority policies are presented to determine the feasibility and adjust soft constraints. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Optimizing regenerative braking systems in electric vehicles presents a complex challenge requiring precise and adaptable control. This research proposes employing K-Means Clustering to the Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Logic (IT2FL) membership functions, thereby improving overall regenerative braking efficiency and enhancing driving range. This research demonstrates that implementing a K-Means in the IT2FL control system in electric vehicles effectively recovers 35.84% of energy. By incorporating a K-means-based approach, the IT2FL controller further enhances vehicle range by 43 kilometers, achieving a total range of 108 kilometers. In comparison, an IT2FL system without K-means recovered only 26.67% of energy and achieved a total range of 93 kilometers. Notably, the IT2FL controller with K-means enabled the electric vehicle to attain an energy efficiency of 22 kilometers per kilowatt-hour. These findings underscore the significant improvement in maximum range offered by the IT2FL controller with K-means compared to alternative methods. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we consider a computationally efficient learning-based control mechanism dealing with dense reward processing for a zero-sum game. The problem has been formulated as the online learning of the Nash equilibrium without requiring any information on the system dynamics. It has firstly been constructed as an infinite horizon optimal control problem, then as an online model-free Q-learning framework, which is composed of critic and actor networks (i.e., for the control and disturbance input). The closed-loop system is also proved to have a stable equilibrium point even in the presence of reward drops. The efficacy of the learning-based controller has been validated through simulations and experiments on micro drones.

The Large-scale uneven ground is mostly unsmooth and in the irregular state in which the irregularity is usually unknown (such as footway, carriageway, unexplored desert, mountainous area, surface of the Mars). In order to walk steadily and rapidly on such ground, a chief problem to overcome is that the humanoid robot's foot is not matching with the unknown model of the ground. Therefore, the humanoid robot's foot should have the flexibility mimic the human's foot, and can adapt to and steadily interacted with any unsmooth ground. Also interferences and disjoints between soles and irregular unsmooth ground should be avoided. Aiming at solving the key problem for humanoid robot to steadily and rapidly walk on the large-scale and three- dimension uneven ground, we've set up a new multi-degree-of-freedom flexible foot mechanism which can make the humanoid robot's walking gesture and gait automatically adapt to the terrain, and then carry out the research of the globally stable control of the gait. The flexibility can obviously improve the humanoid robot's walking stability and speediness on the large-scale uneven ground. © 2008 IEEE.
