The aim of this paper is to investigate the dynamic characteristics of a valve-less micropump. A dynamic mathe- matical model of the micropump based on a hydraulic analogue system and a simulation method using AMESim software are developed. By using the finite-element analysis method, the static analysis of the diaphragm is carried out to ob- tain the maximum deflection and volumetric displacement. Dynamic characteristics of the valve-less micropump under different excitation voltages and frequencies are simulated and tested. Because of the discrepancy between simulation results and experimental data at frequencies other than the natural frequency, the revised model for the diaphragm maximum volumetric displacement is presented. Comparison between the simulation results based on the revised model and experimental data shows that the dynamic mathematical model based on the hydraulic analogue system is capable of predicting dynamic characteristics of the valve-less micropump at any excitation voltage and frequency.

We propose a novel scheme to probabilistically transmit an arbitrary unknown two-qubit quantum state via Positive Operator-Valued Measurement with the help of two partially entangled states. In this scheme, the teleportation with two senders and two receives can be realized when the information of non-maximally entangled states is only available for the senders. This paper studies the tracking performance of the single-input single-output (SISO), finite dimensional, linear and time-invariant (LTI) system over an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel with finite control energy and channel input energy constraint. A new performance index is proposed which is minimized over all stabilizing two-degree-of-freedom controllers. The explicit expressions of the lower bound of the tracking performance and the minimum of signal-to-noise required are obtained. The results show that the lower bound is correlated to the unstable pole, nonminimum phase zero and the channel scaling factor. Finally, one example is given to validate the conclusions by adopting the special inner-outer factorization.

It is a widely accepted view that considering the memory effects of historical information(driving operations) is beneficial for vehicle trajectory prediction models to improve prediction accuracy. However,many commonly used models(e.g., long short-term memory, LSTM) can only implicitly simulate memory effects, but lack effective mechanisms to capture memory effects from sequence data and estimate their effective time range(ETR). This shortage makes it hard to dynamically configure the most suitable length of used historical information according to the current driving behavior, which harms the good understanding of vehicle motion. To address this problem, we propose a modified trajectory prediction model based on ordered neuron LSTM(ON-LSTM). We demonstrate the feasibility of ETR estimation based on ON-LSTM and propose an ETR estimation method. We estimate the ETR of driving fluctuations and lane change operations on the NGSIM I-80 dataset. The experiment results prove that the proposed method can well capture the memory effects during trajectory prediction. Moreover, the estimated ETR values are in agreement with our intuitions.

This paper focuses on bistability in a class of simplified double-negative feedback loop with positive autoregulations(DNFLPAs). The existence criteria of multiple equilibriums is established and the stability conditions are derived for each equilibrium. The effect of each biochemical parameters on bistability is explained. At last, several numerical simulations are carried out to deepen our analysis.
