To address the transient voltage issues in the receiving-end power grid, this paper proposes a transient voltage control method that fully exploits the reactive power support potential of new energy stations and considers the coordination among stations. This method maximizes the use of their reactive power regulation capabilities to provide reactive power support for the grid by reducing the active power output of new energy stations, ensuring the safety and stability of grid voltage after a fault. Firstly, establish transient voltage assessment indicators, taking into account the grid voltage safety constraints, new energy station capacity, and grid operation constraints, establish a transient voltage coordinated control model with the goal of optimal reactive power compensation capacity and minimum control cost. Then, by using the perturbation method, obtain the sensitivity of the transient voltage safety margin indicators and the new energy station tripping margin indicators to the control variables, linearize the model, and complete the calculation using the Gurobi solver. Finally, case studies are conducted based on an improved IEEE 3machines 9 nodes model, and the results show that the proposed control strategy can fully utilize the reactive power support capabilities of new energy stations and coordinate their participation in transient voltage control, providing timely and effective voltage support for the system. © 2024 IEEE.

To solve the autonomous decision-making problem of multi-UAV air combat, a multi-UAV reinforcement learning self-game autonomous decision-making method for air combat with parameter sharing is proposed. Firstly, a self-game policy pool training framework is designed. The game ability of the multi-UAV autonomous decision-making model is improved by self-game confrontation with a policy pool containing different training generations. Secondly, a parameter-sharing mechanism is proposed to train homogeneous UAVs to improve the efficiency of reinforcement learning training and the utilization of interactive data. Finally, a multi-UAV autonomous decision-making model using the multi-agent deep deterministic policy gradient algorithm is designed so that it can explore effectively in the continuous action space. CBTC vehicle equipment is one of the key equipment of CBTC system, in the CBTC system test, the test scenario of vehicle equipment and the interface with other equipment such as trackside equipment and ATS equipment are more complicated. In this paper, the urban rail CBTC system is used as the carrier and the vehicle-mounted equipment is the research object. Build a simulation test environment for urban rail CBTC system, and study the test scenarios of on-board equipment and test cases, test sequences and test methods of on-board equipment. In the scenario study of vehicle equipment, the formal method based on UML activity diagram model is used to model complex scenes, and test sequences are written based on real field data for simulation test verification. © 2023 SPIE.

Health status assessment is a key procedure for fault prediction and health management for complex systems. To accurately evaluate the health status of complex systems, this paper proposes a health assessment method based on a directed acyclic graph and an improved Mahalanobis- Taguchi system. Firstly, the Mahalanobis distance between samples of different health statuses is calculated by using the Mahalanobis distance system, and the discrimination degree of each sample combination is analyzed and compared. Then, the multi-classification process of equipment health status is constructed by the directed acyclic graph. Next, different feature combinations are formed by the features selected in the orthogonal experiment, and the Mahalanobis- Taguchi system is constructed separately for each combination. After voting, an improved Mahalanobis- Taguchi system used to divide the final health status category is obtained. Finally, the PHM08 data provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States is applied to evaluate the health status of the aero-engine. © 2023 IEEE.

Dynamic, uncertainty and nonlinearity are three very important characteristics of complex industrial process data. In this paper, a method of fault detection and classification based on stacked autoencoder-linear dynamic system (SAE-LDS) model is proposed. This method aims to simultaneously consider multiple characteristics of industrial process data for fault detection and classification. Firstly, the deep learning algorithm SAE is used to mine the nonlinear characteristic of process data. On this basis, the SAE model is embedded into the LDS model. The LDS model is used to further extract the dynamics and uncertainty, so as to establish a SAE-LDS model that can comprehensively consider multiple characteristics of data. Finally, the SAE-LDS model is applied to the TE process, compared with the traditional method for fault detection and fault classification. The experimental results show that SAE- LDS model has good effectiveness. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rapid development of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), security concerns have increasingly garnered attention. This paper focuses on the security threats faced by smart grid systems, particularly false data injection (FDI) attacks, and proposes a multilevel fingerprint identity authentication method to provide effective security for the operation of smart grids. Firstly, we construct a mathematical model of the smart grid by using harmonics and direct current attenuation components to establish a foundation for subsequent feature extraction and matching authentication. Secondly, a multi-granularity feature approach is utilized to represent the model in multiple levels and extract feature information granularity, thereby enhancing the system's ability to detect attack signals. In addition, we employ the gap measurement method to perform multi-scale matching of the granularity information of sensor data with that of the data security repository, to detect attack signals. Finally, experimental results confirm that this method effectively detects FDI attacks, improves detection accuracy while ensuring real-time detection, and realizes the safe and reliable operation of smart grid systems. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This article presents the development of electric motor torque meter using microcontroller together with dynamometer process and application of light process to find out revolutions per minute (RPM) which torque is a variable that affects the effectiveness of electrical machine. A torque meter is, therefore, a tool that has an important role to work with mechanical part. The torque meter and RPM was tested and found that there is an error of torque measure at 13.74 percent and found that the torque has higher errors when it exceeds 2 N-m and there is an error of RPM at 5.36 percent. © 2024 IEEE.

Presently, advanced humanoid robotic arms have the ability to work independently, and although most current research can make the robotic arm react appropriately and autonomously to the changing environment, it cannot completely prevent the robotic arm from reacting incorrectly due to a variety of uncontrollable factors;therefore, it is necessary to detect the overall posture of the operating robotic arm. In this paper, we propose a more effective vision fusion-based robot safety monitoring method that can detect the robot arm's posture change in real time, thereby significantly enhancing the safety of the robot arm at work. The visual fusion method utilized in this paper enables faster and more stable skeleton visualization tracking of the robot arm's motion, and at the same time, more accurate skeleton information extraction of the robot arm in three-dimensional space, which increases the accuracy of detecting the bending angle of each joint under each posture of the robot arm. The research experiment demonstrates that the method proposed in this paper has a positive effect on monitoring the robotic arm in real time. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper deals with the increasing of the operation efficiency of a wastewater treatment plant by reducing the level of pollutant concentration in the effluent. In essence, the main goal is the reduction of the concentration of organic substrate, Model Predictive control algorithm being used for this, considering as a model of the wastewater treatment process a neural network model based on a simplified mathematical model of the 4th order. For the implementation of the control algorithm, two neural networks were trained. In the first version of the neural network, it was considered that all 4 state variables are measurable and in the second version, only the organic substrate was considered measurable. Regarding the training of the two neural networks, good results were obtained in the case of both versions. Instead, the control algorithm gave better results when the second neural network was used (lower values of the substrate, lower variations of the aeration rate, which means a lower cost of operation). © 2023 IEEE.

Moving horizon estimation (MHE) is a well-known alternative to Kalman-like filtering due to its superior performance in terms of estimation accuracy, convergence speed, and robustness to poor initial state guesses. However, most MHE methods cope with unknown inputs by introducing a random walk model, which is unsuitable for fast-varying unknown inputs. To address this issue, we propose an unknown input moving horizon estimator (MHE-UI) that does not require any prior knowledge of the dynamic behavior of unknown inputs. To solve the associated nonlinear least squares problem in real time, we develop a computationally efficient Gauss-Newton iterative algorithm by exploiting the block pentadiagonal structure of the resulting Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) matrix. A numerical case study demonstrates that the proposed real-time MHE-UI algorithm achieves higher estimation accuracy than the unknown input unscented Kalman filter (UKF-UI) and significantly reduces the computational cost compared to the exact MHE-UI algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.
