In many real-world decision problems under uncertainty, information is not exact, and merely lower and upper bounds are available. This leads to dual uncertainties, e.g., both lower and upper bounds are uncertain. In this paper uncertainties in preferences of Decision Makers are expressed as Z-boundary intervals. The lower and upper bounds of an interval can be presented as Z-numbers. Real-world decision making under Z-bounded intervals is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed approach. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In real-life decision problems it is usually we know the gain (outcome value) corresponding to given set of alternatives with some uncertainty. Instead of numerical value of this outcomes, there is set of possible values of outcomes. In this paper, we consider decision making under Z-set valued uncertainty. In situation when consequences of decision making is Z-set to define a fair price for a participation in such decision to select more appropriate alternatives is investigated. For this in the paper fair price approach is used. This paper presents applications of the continuous feedback method to achieve path-following and a formation moving along the desired orbits within a finite *** is assumed that the topology for the virtual leader and followers is *** additional condition of the so-called barrier function is designed to make all agents move within a limited area.A novel continuous finite-time path-following control law is first designed based on the barrier function and *** a novel continuous finite-time formation algorithm is designed by regarding the path-following errors as *** settling-time properties of the resulting system are studied in detail and simulations are presented to validate the proposed strategies.

MATLAB provides an effective environment for learning and applying different disciplines. control101 is a new MATLAB toolbox under development which provides tools for interactive learning of control disciplines. Path planning algorithms are current research hotspots. Heuristic algorithms that can solve dynamic environment problems are gradually becoming the mainstream research direction. The D∗ algorithm, as one of the new heuristic algorithms, has the advantages of being more computationally efficient than the A ∗ algorithm and being able to solve dynamic problems, and has played an important role in two-dimensional path planning projects such as the NASA Mars rover. But its theoretical research and practical application in 3D environment are very rare. In this context, this paper carries out an in-depth study of the path planning problem based on the D∗ algorithm, and completes the theoretical derivation and simulation process in 2D and 3D environments. In this paper, a complex random 2D map is established by random generation, and the simulation of D∗ algorithm is realized on the map with the help of Python language, which realizes the finding of the relative optimal path. Then, in order to study the feasibility of D∗ solving in 3D environment, the simulation of D∗ algorithm under 3D map is realized with the help of Python and Unity3d. The research results show that the simulation results are good, which is valuable for the theoretical research and practical application of heuristic algorithms, and plays a role in the application of robot path planning algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to solve the problems of high dependency and low flexibility caused by calling three-party services during simulation and experiments, this paper uses the NCSLab (Networked control System laboratory) as an application platform to implement the functions of multiple ordinary differential equation solvers, which are used for real-time simulation and experimentation of control algorithm. This paper mainly integrates the common ordinary differential equation solving methods and NCSLab platform, and verifies the support of NCSLab platform for different solving methods through the actual simulation process.

DELFlow: Dense Efficient Learning of Scene Flow for Large-Scale Point Clouds

Point clouds are naturally sparse, while image pixels are dense. The inconsistency limits feature fusion from both modalities for point-wise scene flow estimation. Previous methods rarely predict scene flow from the entire point clouds of the scene with one-time inference due to the memory inefficiency and heavy overhead from distance calculation and sorting involved in commonly used farthest point sampling, KNN, and ball query algorithms for local feature aggregation. To mitigate these issues in scene flow learning, we regularize raw points to a dense format by storing 3D coordinates in 2D grids. Unlike the sampling operation commonly used in existing works, the dense 2D representation 1) preserves most points in the given scene, 2) brings in a significant boost of efficiency, and 3) eliminates the density gap between points and pixels, allowing us to perform effective feature fusion. We also present a novel warping projection technique to alleviate the information loss problem resulting from the fact that multiple points could be mapped into one grid during projection when computing cost volume. Sufficient experiments demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of our method, outperforming the prior-arts on the FlyingThings3D and KITTI dataset. This paper presents a novel approach to develop a fuzzy maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller that performs well in variable weather photovoltaic (PV) systems. The photovoltaic output voltage can be adjusted using a DC-DC boost converter. The last step is controlled by the duty cycle, which is essentially bounded between 0 and 1 . Using the Lyapunov approach and Descriptor Takagi-Sugeno (DT-S) fuzzy modelling, we establish the stabilisation conditions with H∞ performance represented as linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, we apply the proposed control to a solar system and the results of our simulation validate the efficiency of the presented methods.

With the rapid development and widespread application of Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), IMU-based human localization has become critically important in environments lacking Global Navigation Satellite systems (GNSS) signals. Methods such as UWB/WIFI and other anchor-based localization have been employed to enhance the positioning accuracy. However, these methods are susceptible to the environmental interference and increased costs. In contrast, SINS-based localization methods eliminate reliance on the external data. However, this method can suffer from drift errors due to cumulative integration errors. Inertial navigation error correction techniques like Zero Detection Update Technology (ZUPT) provide potential solutions to address drift errors. This paper proposes an error correction method based on the multithreshold zero-velocity detection and Square Root Cubature Kalman Filter (SRCKF) updates. Compared to the single fixed threshold detection, the multi-threshold zero-velocity detection reduces the likelihood of missed zero velocity detection and false alarms, providing accurate time intervals for error correction. Experimental results demonstrate that the SRCKF-based algorithm reduces position deviation to approximately 0.3146 meters, corresponding to an error ratio of1.14%. The proposed method enables cost-effective and accurate pedestrian localization, driving advancements in the field. © 2023 IEEE.
