In this paper, characteristics of weighted coverage model for wireless multimedia sensor networks are analyzed, and the distribution of orientation and location of occlusion-free surveillance is discussed. Subsequently, the concept of weighted coverage for different sub-regions is provided, and a novel coverage enhancement algorithm of occlusion-free surveillance model based on genetic algorithm is proposed. Then, the discrete model of enhancement algorithm is presented for simplifying computation and optimization. The results of experiments and simulations show that the proposed algorithm can optimize the weighted coverage rate of occlusion-free surveillance in WMSN, and make coverage rate more stable when obstacles are increased. © 2010 IEEE.

A single study has addressed actuator failure reconstruction for the One-sided Lipschitz (OSL) family of nonlinear systems. The predicted fault vector in that work does not provide any insight into the underlying problematic physical characteristics of the system, which is a significant shortcoming. In this work, we offer a way for estimating the incorrect physical parameters of actuators using an adaptive observer strategy. To demonstrate the utility of the suggested method, a numerical example and simulation research are provided. © 2022 IEEE.

As the most important daily management work in power application, electrical energy metering is carried out throughout the whole process of power production, transmission and use. Ensuring the accurate and reliable operation of electric energy measurement is the key to establish a fair, just and orderly electric power marketing market. At present, there are many problems in the inspection process of electric power measurement device, which include large workload, long verification time, sampling accuracy and algorithm performance constraints. In this paper, the remote on-line diagnosis of electrical energy metering decice is studied. Based on a large amount of sampling datas of power measurement, voltage and current, it introduces the parallel computing in data mining. Based on support vector machine, data and task parallelization fault diagnosis modelsare established,the online real-time monitoring and failure warning for electric power measurement device is realized, which contains abnormal characteristics and fault state. The visualization method is used to upload the device failure pictures in time and the diversified fault early warning technology is adopted, in order that the staff can timely analyze the electrical energy metering device in the fault or abnormal condition. In this way, the remote state monitoring and operation management level of the electrical energy metering device are improved. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Given the uncertain, random, and volatile characteristics of power load, accurate forecasting of power load becomes challenging. To address this issue, this paper proposes an optimized prediction model by using a modified Adaptive White Noise Complete Integrated Empirical Modal Decomposition Algorithm (ICEEMDAN) and the improved Whale Optimization Algorithm (IWOA) for bidirectional short-term and long-term memory networks (BiLSTM). First of all, Australian power load data is preprocessed in this study. Then, the load data is decomposed into a series of sequences by using ICEEMDAN. After that, the improved whale algorithm is employed to analyze the BiLSTM super parameter optimization. Finally, each decomposed component is input into the IWOA-BiLSTM model for load forecasting. The results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves higher accuracy in power load forecasting, compared to individual benchmark models and most portfolio models, indicating its applicability and practical value. © 2023 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper presents the solution to a quadrotor control problem based on a discrete automaton that, in combination with classical PID controllers, creates a hybrid control system. Some modifications to the known and widely used mathematical model of quadrotor aircrafts are also discussed in this paper. The paper shows an open loop control concept that flies the aircraft into looping. Finally, the performance of the suggested control scheme is tested with simulations.

An activity theory model for dynamic evolution of attack graph based on improved least square genetic algorithm

Most of the risk assessments of the attack graph are static and have a fixed assessment scenario, which limit the real-time nature of the situation assessment. This paper presents an activity theory model to analyse the contradictions in the attack behaviour. In order to assess the maximum probability path of an attacker and dynamically remain in control for the overall situation, a definition of attacker's benefit (loss/gain) value calculated by contradictory vector is proposed. The attacker's budget is applied as an unbiased amount in the least square genetic algorithm, optimises the fitness function of the genetic algorithm. Experimental results reveal that the improved least square genetic algorithm with unbiased estimator effectuate higher gains owing to the high fit degree of fitness function. With the coming evidence, the maximum probability attack paths get a more accurate and dynamic risk assessment of the situation. © 2020 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

The paper deal with a mobile wireless connected devices and the problem of their slow wireless connection. The main area of interest is in a model of data prebuffering based system enhancement for locating and tracking users of our control system inside the buildings. The experimental framework prototype uses a WiFi network infrastructure to let a mobile device determine its indoor position. User location is used for data pre-buffering and pushing information from server to user's PDA. All server data are saved as artifacts (together) with its position information in building. The accessing of prebuffered data on mobile device can highly improve response time needed to view large multimedia data. On mobile device the SQL Server CE database is used. Mobile device operate with Windows Mobile 6.0 operation system which is real time. All operations in such mobile clients are deterministic.

Fractional order PID controllers have more flexibility in form and have better control effect when compared with conventional integral order PID controllers. The extra two parameters in fractional order PID controllers not only bring flexibility in controller designing but also challenge in parameter tuning. In this paper we propose an improved genetic algorithm for the tuning of fractional order PID controllers and apply the controllers to the automatic voltage stabilization (AVR) system. A lion group selection operator, which simulates the lion group reproduction mode, is proposed to relieve the contradiction between the convergence speed and premature in the genetic algorithm. In order to eliminate the divergence of parameters in the process of tuning, the penalty function with the maximum value of the controller output is added into the objective function. Numerical experiments show that the improved genetic algorithm-lion group genetic algorithm (LGA) has advantages in convergence speed and avoidance of local optimal solutions. Meanwhile, the parameters of fractional order controllers which are given by LGA under the proposed objective function in this paper have excellent convergence. © 2020 IEEE.

Based on the standards of the Geometric Product Specification and Verification - the new generation of GPS, a minimum zone mathematical model for evaluation of flatness error was given. The mathematical model of flatness error was first constructed by using Lp-norm on the basis of operations of the new generation of GPS. According to the characteristics of flatness error, an improved Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method based on genetic hybrid gene was applied to solve the mathematical model and the flatness error is obtained. Finally, an example verifies the feasibility and availability of the proposed method. © 2009 IEEE.
