This study is concerned with a control system design method with frequency response data named a finite number of frequency responses(an FNFR) model. In this paper a numerical descent direction is introduced and an iterative method for solving control problems formulated with the FNFR model is proposed with the descent direction. One feature of our approach is to update controller variables so that they approach to a feasible region of considering control problems from the outside. The efficiency of our method is shown by numerical examples.

PVPUFormer: Probabilistic Visual Prompt Unified Transformer for Interactive Image Segmentation

Integration of diverse visual prompts like clicks, scribbles, and boxes in interactive image segmentation significantly facilitates users’ interaction as well as improves interaction efficiency. However, existing studies primarily encode the position or pixel regions of prompts without considering the contextual areas around them, resulting in insufficient prompt feedback, which is not conducive to performance acceleration. To tackle this problem, this paper proposes a simple yet effective Probabilistic Visual Prompt Unified Transformer (PVPUFormer) for interactive image segmentation, which allows users to flexibly input diverse visual prompts with the probabilistic prompt encoding and feature post-processing to excavate sufficient and robust prompt features for performance boosting. Specifically, we first propose a Probabilistic Prompt-unified Encoder (PPuE) to generate a unified one-dimensional vector by exploring both prompt and non-prompt contextual information, offering richer feedback cues to accelerate performance improvement. On this basis, we further present a Prompt-to-Pixel Contrastive (P2C) loss to accurately align both prompt and pixel features, bridging the representation gap between them to offer consistent feature representations for mask prediction. Moreover, our approach designs a Dual-cross Merging Attention (DMA) module to implement bidirectional feature interaction between image and prompt features, generating notable features for performance improvement. A comprehensive variety of experiments on several challenging datasets demonstrates that the proposed components achieve consistent improvements, yielding state-of-the-art interactive segmentation performance. Blockchain technology for shared electric vehicle (EV) charging makes use of a distributed ledger in handling different transactions which promotes authenticity in charging. However, this technology can be non-scalable at times which slows down the transaction rates as the scale increases in an organization and may also demand high computational as well as energy requirements which increases the inefficiency of the total system, the operating expenses of EV charging station, costs of energy utilized for charging, cost of maintenance and cost of station infrastructure may prove to be a weakness, impacting the feasibility of infrastructure deployment and upkeep expenses of the charging stations. To overcome these drawbacks, this paper proposes a hybrid method for blockchain technology with shared EV charging. The proposed approach combines the use of the Red Panda Optimization (RPO) with Similarity-Navigated Graph Neural Network (SNGNN). Hence, it is named as hybrid RPO-SNGNN approach. Reducing the operating cost of EV charging position and maximizes the security efficiency is the main aim of the proposed approach. To optimize scheduling and resource allocation by finding efficient paths by RPO and predict future demand and user behaviour patterns by SNGNN. By then, the proposed model has been put into practice on the MATLAB work platform and contrasted with other existing methods. The proposed technique outperforms all existing techniques, including Fuzzy-based Cross Hierarchical Reinforcement Q Learning (FCHRQL), Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-Long Short-Term Memory Network (NSGA-II-LSTMN), and Ant Colony Optimization-Proximal Policy Optimization (ACO-PPO). The proposed method shows the operating cost of $550 and the security rate is 97%. From the result, the proposed approach operating cost is low and the security rate is high when compared to the existing approaches.

In this article, two methods of addressing path planning for a Dubins vehiclemoving on a sphere are considered, wherein either spherical coordinates or amoving frame are considered to describe the vehicle's motion. Actuator Scheduling for Linear Systems: A Convex Relaxation Approach

In this letter, we investigate the problem of actuator scheduling for networked control systems. Given a stochastic linear system with a number of actuators, we consider the case that one actuator is activated at each time. This problem is combinatorial in nature and NP hard to solve. We propose a convex relaxation to the actuator scheduling problem, and use its solution as a reference to design an algorithm for solving the original scheduling problem. Using dynamic programming arguments, we provide a suboptimality bound of our proposed algorithm. Furthermore, we show that our framework can be extended to incorporate multiple actuator scheduling at each time and actuation costs. A simulation example is provided, which shows that our proposed method outperforms a random selection approach and a greedy selection approach. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Objective: To develop a neural network model that recommends traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal prescriptions. Methods: We constructed a new dataset of diagnosis and treatment knowledge from the Treatise on Febrile Diseases. Based on TCM's logical principles of 'syndrome differentiation' and 'state recognition', a back-propagation neural network model is proposed that simulates clinical diagnosis and treatment. Results: The proposed model is a four-layer BP neural network. Experiments on the constructed dataset show that the proposed method achieved the best precision, recall, and F1-scores. Conclusion: The proposed method provides much more accurate herbal prescription recommendations than logistic regression. © 2021 IEEE.

We implemented MDI-QKD with a novel polarization compensation scheme using discarded bits without reducing the key-sharing cycle or demanding additional resources. Polarization drift was maintained below 0.13 rad over a 40 km unisolated fibre spool for four hours, and the average secret key rate generated was 7.45×10-6bits per pulse. © 2023 The Author(s).

This paper addresses the robust image-based landing control problem for a landing system, including an underactuated quadrotor and an unknown moving platform. Firstly, an image kinematics is constructed by using an image moment based on a circle feature in the virtual image plane, which decouples the landing system into a translation and a rotation control module. Exploiting the funnel control techniques with barrier Lyapunov functions (BLFs), the proposed IBVS control law does not depend on relative height needed by IBVS-like approaches and the explicit knowledge of moving platforms. Besides, it guarantees feature errors with prescribed transient and steady-state behavior. Finally, A simulation study is presented to verify the efficacy of the proposed control scheme. © 2021 IEEE.

This study aims to investigate the potential of rooftop solar photovoltaic systems for commercial buildings. Helio-Scope software is utilized to perform simulations to determine the ideal rooftop area for photovoltaic panels. The efficiency of photovoltaic systems is impacted by the shading effects of photovoltaic modules installed in parallel rows. To enhance energy output, the optimal distance between rows is determined, and it is found that 5-feet inter-row spacing provides the best results. The simulation results indicate that with 5-feet inter-row spacing, photovoltaic system has an energy generation of 371.6 MWh, specific yield of 1508.0 kWh/kWp, performance ratio of 82.1%, solar access rate of 98.9%, total solar resource fraction of 96.3% and a total irradiance of 1655.9 kWh/m2. The annual nameplate energy is 425.1 MWh, output energy at irradiance levels is 423.1 MWh, optimal DC output is 378.5 MWh, inverter output is 373.5 MWh, and total energy delivered to the national power grid is 371.6 MWh. The average daily DC inverter input power is 158881.5110 W and the average daily AC inverter output power is 152231.6311 W, showing an inverter efficiency of approximately 95.93%. Moreover, detailed testing of the installed PV system is performed on-site to make sure that equipment’s performance guarantees are achieved, the system is properly installed and its configuration is suitable for commercial operations. The maximum daily output energy generation of an installed photovoltaic (PV) system is 1.33 MWh, and its average energy generation is 1.09 MWh. The voltage of all strings is within the rated range of the inverter, with a maximum voltage of 835 V and a minimum of 698 V, as tested by PV string open-circuit voltage. The inverter efficiency test is also performed, with a maximum efficiency of 98.83% and fill factors ranging from 81.37% to 82.34%.
