With the advancement in the precision of printed circuit boards (PCBs), their impact on electronic products has become increasingly significant. PCBs often exhibit various surface defects such as short circuits, open circuits, and burrs, which can have devastating effects on electronic products. To address these defects, this study proposes a lightweight detection model, ASC-YOLO. The dataset used was sourced from a public dataset on Roboflow, comprising 9,669 images. The Adown module enhances the model’s ability to recognize defects of different sizes and types while effectively reducing computation and parameter volume. SENetV2 improves the network’s learning capacity through multi-branch fully connected layers. Finally, PConv is introduced to reduce redundant computation and memory access, efficiently extracting spatial features. Compared to the original model, the parameters were reduced by 28%, and the accuracy reached 94.8%. Moreover, the model was deployed on mobile terminals, achieving high detection accuracy and efficiency. This advancement makes fully automated, high-precision AI-based detection possible.

In pursuit of the goal of reducing the wastage of renewable energy resources and enhancing the flexibility of the power system, this paper introduces a coordinated optimization scheduling strategy, incorporating distributed energy storage systems as a key component. This strategy comprehensively considers the real-time supply and demand dynamics of the power system, the energy storage status of distributed energy storage stations, and the generation forecasts of renewable energy. Based on these factors, a scheduling model for distributed energy storage systems is constructed. In the proposed scheduling strategy, optimize the allocation of energy resources to meet power demand by utilizing the operational costs of generating units, energy storage station operations, and load as objective functions. The primary aim of the model is to enhance power system flexibility through peak-shifting of renewable energy generation. To validate the effectiveness of the model, utilized MATLAB for its solution and, through practical case studies, verified the model's performance. The case study results demonstrate that the proposed distributed energy storage system strategy effectively reduces wind curtailment rates while simultaneously enhancing the flexibility of power system scheduling.

Rainfall plays a significant role in managing the water level in the *** unpredictable amount of rainfall due to the climate change can cause either overflow or dry in the *** individuals,especially those in the agricultural sector,rely on rain *** rainfall is challenging because of the changing nature of the *** area of Jimma in southwest Oromia,Ethiopia is the subject of this research,which aims to develop a rainfall forecasting *** estimate Jimma's daily rainfall,we propose a novel approach based on optimizing the parameters of long short-term memory(LSTM)using Al-Biruni earth radius(BER)optimization algorithm for boosting the fore-casting accuracy.N ash-Sutcliffe model eficiency(NSE),mean square error(MSE),root MSE(RMSE),mean absolute error(MAE),and R2 were all used in the conducted experiments to assess the proposed approach,with final scores of(0.61),(430.81),(19.12),and(11.09),***,we compared the proposed model to current machine-learning regression models;such as non-optimized LSTM,bidirectional LSTM(BiLSTM),gated recurrent unit(GRU),and convolutional LSTM(ConvLSTM).It was found that the proposed approach achieved the lowest RMSE of(19.12).In addition,the experimental results show that the proposed model has R-with a value outperforming the other models,which confirms the superiority of the proposed *** the other hand,a statistical analysis is performed to measure the significance and stability of the proposed approach and the recorded results proved the expected perfomance.

This research aims to explore and optimize multimodal emotion recognition to enhance its performance. Multimodal emotion recognition involves analyzing information from different modalities—speech, vision, and text—to identify and classify emotional states accurately. This study investigates the roles of speech and text modalities and the auxiliary effect of visual modalities in multimodal emotion recognition. Study employs a two-stage multimodal information fusion neural network based on graph and attention mechanisms. The core idea is to achieve an effective fusion of multimodal information through graph convolutional networks and cross-modal attention mechanisms to improve emotion recognition performance. This study uses two datasets, Interactive Emotional Dyadic Motion Capture (IEMOCAP) and Multimodal Emotion Lines Dataset (MELD), to analyze the impact of speech and text modalities on visual modalities and their potential side effects. Results show that while the visual modality alone is less effective, adding speech or text significantly improves performance. However, introducing the speech modality and the text modality is less beneficial. Experimental outcomes reveal that the speech modality's effect is not as significant as the text modality, and its inclusion does not always lead to positive results, sometimes even degrading overall recognition performance.

Quantum computing is progressing at a fast rate and there is a real threat that classical cryptographic methods can be compromised and therefore impact the security of blockchain networks. All of the ways used to secure blockchain like Rivest–Shamir–Adleman (RSA), Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit (SHA256) are the characteristic of the traditional cryptographic techniques vulnerable to attack by quantum algorithms: Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms: can efficiently break asymmetric encryption and speed up brute force attacks. Because of this vulnerability, there exists a need to develop an advance quantum resilient blockchain framework to protect the decentralized ledgers from the future threats of the quantum. This research proposes Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG) as a formidable architectural integration, to fortify security of blockchain. Classical encryption is replaced with PQC, QKD with secure key exchange by detecting eavesdropping, and QRNG with improving cryptographic randomness to remove the predictable key vulnerability. Only with a small loss of transaction efficiency, we increase transaction encryption accuracy, key exchange security, and resistance to quantum attacks. In this quantum enhanced blockchain design, the idea is to preserve the decentralization, transparency and security and at the same time overcome the future quantum threat. By going through rigorous analysis and comparative evaluation, we demonstrate that the approach saves blockchain networks from the emerging quantum risks to make sure that the decentralized finance, smart contracts and cross chain transactions. © (2025), (Science and Information Organization). SSIG: Single-Sample Information Gain Model for Integrating Multi-Omics Data to Identify Cancer Subtypes

Different living environments of cancer samples lead to different molecular mechanisms of cancer development, which in turn leads to different cancer subtypes. How to identify cancer subtypes is a key issue for the realization of precision medicine. With the development of high-throughput technologies, multi-omics data which can better understand different causes of cancer have emerged. However, the current methods of analyzing cancer subtypes using multi-omics data is mostly derived from population cancer sample data and ignores the differences between different cancer ***, the joint analysis of multi-omics based on a single sample may reveal more information about the differences between individual cancers. A strategy for identifying cancer subtypes is proposed based on Single-sample information gain(SSIG) which construct sample feature matrix by considering the heterogeneity of sample. Applying this strategy to current popular subtype identification methods, cancer subtypes can be identified more accurately and the mechanism of cancer can be found from the perspective of a single sample. By comparing different methods in different clustering measure, and using survival analysis, it is shown that SSIG is more suitable for cancer subtype identification than the original multi-omics data, and it is easier to mine the cancer subtype classification mechanism hidden behind the data.

This research presents a deep convolutional neural network (CNN) as a solution for identifying malarial cells that are infected. The AI model suggested in this work comprises a three-layered CNN and a two-layered dense neural network. The model can capture both minor and significant features by utilizing CNN, thereby extracting a maximum amount of information from the input data. The model is trained over 20 epochs and evaluated using the binary cross entropy loss function and accuracy metric to assess its performance. Remarkably, the proposed model achieved an impressive accuracy of 96% and maintained a loss value below 0.2 for both the training and validation datasets. Ultimately, this research demonstrates promising potential for automating the detection of malaria through parasite cell counting. © 2023 IEEE.

Selecting the most relevant subset of features from a dataset is a vital step in data mining and machine *** feature in a dataset has 2n possible subsets,making it challenging to select the optimum collection of features using typical *** a result,a new metaheuristicsbased feature selection method based on the dipper-throated and grey-wolf optimization(DTO-GW)algorithms has been developed in this *** can result when the selection of features is subject to metaheuristics,which can lead to a wide range of ***,we adopted hybrid optimization in our method of optimizing,which allowed us to better balance exploration and harvesting chores more *** propose utilizing the binary DTO-GW search approach we previously devised for selecting the optimal subset of *** the proposed method,the number of features selected is minimized,while classification accuracy is *** test the proposed method’s performance against eleven other state-of-theart approaches,eight datasets from the UCI repository were used,such as binary grey wolf search(bGWO),binary hybrid grey wolf,and particle swarm optimization(bGWO-PSO),bPSO,binary stochastic fractal search(bSFS),binary whale optimization algorithm(bWOA),binary modified grey wolf optimization(bMGWO),binary multiverse optimization(bMVO),binary bowerbird optimization(bSBO),binary hysteresis optimization(bHy),and binary hysteresis optimization(bHWO).The suggested method is superior 4532 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2 and successful in handling the problem of feature selection,according to the results of the experiments.

Applications of internet-of-things(IoT)are increasingly being used in many facets of our daily life,which results in an enormous volume of *** computing and fog computing,two of the most common technologies used in IoT applications,have led to major security *** are on the rise as a result of the usage of these technologies since present security measures are *** artificial intelligence(AI)based security solutions,such as intrusion detection systems(IDS),have been proposed in recent *** technologies that require data preprocessing and machine learning algorithm-performance augmentation require the use of feature selection(FS)techniques to increase classification accuracy by minimizing the number of features *** the other hand,metaheuristic optimization algorithms have been widely used in feature selection in recent *** this paper,we proposed a hybrid optimization algorithm for feature selection in *** proposed algorithm is based on grey wolf(GW),and dipper throated optimization(DTO)algorithms and is referred to as *** proposed algorithm has a better balance between the exploration and exploitation steps of the optimization process and thus could achieve better *** the employed IoT-IDS dataset,the performance of the proposed GWDTO algorithm was assessed using a set of evaluation metrics and compared to other optimization approaches in 2678 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2 the literature to validate its *** addition,a statistical analysis is performed to assess the stability and effectiveness of the proposed *** results confirmed the superiority of the proposed approach in boosting the classification accuracy of the intrusion in IoT-based networks.
