Over time, new developments have been discovered, leading to a significant shift in the understanding of electrical energy. Though, there is a misapprehension of free energy. Only at a step where they do not have to pay for electricity generation after the unit has been commissioned would energy become cost-free. Free energy generation using flywheel system is a device that generates friendly energy which called renewable power. This paper introduces how to use a battery and an inverter to run the free power generator using the flywheel and taking advantage of the battery charger. This research involves the design of low-cost electrical energy generation system. The proposed system also aims to save people from serious radiations accompanied to traditional energy generators. An experimental setup is designed and *** this research was taken up one battery source, inverter and battery charger with an appropriate configuration that moves the ac motor. The ac motor paired to ac alternator with specific speed control mechanism is used between alternator and AC machine with rated speed and usage of power recovery system from the battery charger to recharge the battery so be ready to use again. This research deals with a free energy generator without using conventional generation methods, which can operate all the electric and electronic devices and does not produce any kind of pollution. This low-cost energy generator operates by assist source to run the free energy generator without mechanical input and it produces a large amount of power. © 2021 IEEE.

Numerous researches emphasized that long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) plays a vital factor in various biological processes, and its mismatched expression and dysfunction are tightly linked with the occurrence of human diseases. Thus, computational models were designed to identify lncRNA-disease interactions by merging heterogeneous biological data. However, most of them neglected the intrinsic structure of multi-source information, which limits the performance for potential lncRNA-disease association prediction. Here, GCN-NIMC is introduced to alleviate the dilemma for disease-associated lncRNA genes identification based on the graph convolutional network with neural inductive matrix. This method builds a feature matrix with multi-source heterogeneous data and then learn the various information contained in the feature matrix for the sake of acquiring better feature expressions of the lncRNA-disease interactions. Experimental results on 10-repeated 5-fold cross-validation demonstrated that our proposed GCN-NIMC is superior to existing cutting-edge methods for identifying disease-related lncRNA genes. Furthermore, case studies confirmed our computational method as a practical tool with clinical benefits to develop the therapeutic schedule at lncRNA-level. © 2023 IEEE.

This work investigates an alternative approach to current control systems for the Automated Driving (AD) of shuttle vehicles on dedicated roads. The proposed solution decouples the problem into two levels: a Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) Reinforcement Learning (RL) agent and a dedicated vehicle logic generating Virtual Lane (VL) data to eliminate redundancy and allow for smooth lane changes on curved roads. The training uses an environment defined through a model-based simulation, exploiting MATLAB Inc. (2020) and Simulink tools, and has been conducted following a Curriculum Learning strategy. The performance of the introduced approach have been evaluated by testing the agent capabilities and exploring its behavior in the presence of external disturbances in the controlled states.

Event-Related Potentials (ERPs) are modifications of the brain activity in response to external sensory stimulation. P300 is a positive ERP component that occurs 300 ms after the presentation of a rare stimulus and indicates conscious perception of an unexpected change in sensory stimulation. Since the amplitude of ERPs is comparable to that of background electroencephalography, the most widespread approach to render ERPs correctly detectable is time-domain averaging. ERPs are physiologically affected by variations in latency, referred to as latency jitter. The most promising techniques to address latency jitter are cross-correlation template matching algorithms, which estimate single-trial latencies and resynchronize them according to a template that best describes the ERP component. Adaptive Wavelet Filtering (AWF) is an algorithm applied in the wavelet domain to provide the optimal compromise of time-frequency resolution in detecting ERPs. The choice of an appropriate decomposition frequency is crucial in the application of AWF, as it is essential for identifying the correct template and estimating single-trial latencies. In this study, we investigated the influence of frequency on the performance of AWF to optimize it. The algorithm was tested on simulated data with varying latency shifts and signal-to-noise ratios as well as for data recorded from 11 healthy subjects during an auditory oddball paradigm. Results on both simulated and real EEG data showed how frequency decomposition of 3 Hz is the most appropriate for P300 waveform detection.

Equilibrium-Independent control of Continuous-Time Nonlinear Systems via the LPV Framework - Extended Version

In this paper, we consider the analysis and control of continuous-time nonlinear systems to ensure universal shifted stability and performance, i.e., stability and performance w.r.t. each forced equilibrium point of the system. This "equilibrium-free" concept is especially beneficial for control problems that require the tracking of setpoints and rejection of persistent disturbances, such as input loads. In this paper, we show how the velocity form, i.e., the time-differentiated dynamics of the system, plays a crucial role in characterizing these properties and how the analysis of it can be solved by the application of Linear Parameter-Varying (LPV) methods in a computationally efficient manner. Furthermore, by leveraging the properties of the velocity form and the LPV framework, a novel controller synthesis method is presented which ensures closed-loop universal shifted stability and performance. The proposed controller design is verified in a simulation study and also experimentally on a real system. Additionally, we compare the proposed method to a standard LPV control design, demonstrating the improved stability and performance guarantees of the new approach. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. As the largest class of small non-coding RNAs, piRNAs primarily present in the reproductive cells of mammals, which influence post-transcriptional processes of mRNAs in multiple ways. Effective methods for predicting piRNA and mRNA target relationships can help identify piRNA functions, investigate the possibility of piRNAs as biomarkers and therapeutic targets. In this study, we propose a computational approach for classifying the relationships of piRNA-mRNA pairs based on an interactive inference network (IIN). First, we gather piRNA-mRNA target data, collect sequence data by position alignment, and construct a benchmark dataset. Furthermore, a reliable negative set is constructed by positive-unlabeled learning. Finally, we view a piRNA and a mRNA sequence as a premise and hypothesis sentence, respectively, and IIN model is used to predict the relationship between them. The experiments demonstrate that our method effectively characterizes piRNA-mRNA interaction and could be beneficial for researchers to investigate piRNA functions. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a distributed real-time state estimation(RTSE)method for the combined heat and power systems(CHPSs).First,a difference-based model for the heat system is established considering the dynamics of heat *** heat system model is further used along with the power system steady-state model for holistic CHPS state estimation.A cubature Kalman filter(CKF)-based RTSE is developed to deal with the system nonlinearity while integrating both the historical and present measurement ***,a multi-timescale asynchronous distributed computation scheme is designed to enhance the scalability of the proposed method for largescale *** distributed implementation requires only a small amount of information exchange and thus protects the privacy of different energy *** carried out on two CHPSs show that the proposed method can significantly improve the estimation efficiency of CHPS without loss of accuracy compared with other existing models and methods.

In recent years, we witnessed great progress in different tasks of natural language understanding using machine learning. Question answering is one of these tasks which is used by search engines and social media platforms for improved user experience. Arabic is the language of the Holy Qur'an;the sacred text for 1.8 billion people across the world. Arabic is a challenging language for Natural Language Processing (NLP) due to its complex structures. In this article, we describe our attempts at OSACT5 Qur'an QA 2022 Shared Task, which is a question answering challenge on the Holy Qur'an in Arabic. We propose an ensemble learning model based on Arabic variants of BERT models. In addition, we perform post-processing to enhance the model predictions. Our system achieves a Partial Reciprocal Rank (pRR) score of 56.6% on the official test set. © 2022, CC BY.

The adoption of agricultural robots, or agrobots, has revolutionized modern farming operations, ranging from crop monitoring to automated harvesting, significantly boosting productivity. Motivated by the rapid advancements in agrobots and their integration into smart agricultural practices, this study proposes an autonomous trajectory tracking system for wheat farms using quadcopter UAVs. To address actuator fault detection, including stuck faults and partial loss of efficiency, a TSF-H∞-SMO (Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy-based H∞ Sliding Mode Observer) fault detection framework is introduced. The approach initiates with the derivation of a TSF (Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy) attitude control model that integrates an uncertainty term, constructed from the original nonlinear dynamics of the UAV and approximated through local linear models at four equilibrium positions. An actuator fault model is subsequently integrated to develop a comprehensive TSF-UAV model, accounting for actuator faults. The TSF-H∞-SMO is then designed using matrix coordinate transformation to enable precise fault detection. The fault detection capabilities of the TSF-H∞-SMO are evaluated through simulations on the TSF-UAV model under SISO (single-input single-output) actuator fault scenarios. The experimental results validate the proposed system, demonstrating its ability to detect a range of actuator faults accurately and promptly. The analysis reveals a proportional relationship between the amplitude of the state change and the severity of the fault, attributed to the interaction between system states and actuator flaps. This approach underscores the potential for deploying autonomous UAV-based fault detection and trajectory tracking systems in agricultural applications. Furthermore, integrating such advanced fault-tolerant control algorithms holds promise for consumer technology applications, where precision, reliability, and robustness are critical to enhancing system performance and operational efficiency. © 1

Marine aquaculture image segmentation plays a crucial role in managing aquatic resources and environmental protection. Traditional deep learning models rely on manual parameter tuning for image segmentation, which limits their efficiency and accuracy. This paper proposes an adaptive Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to optimize the parameters of the U-net model automatically. The algorithm dynamically adjusts the PSO parameters based on the population’s entropy and clustering metrics and employs a hill-climbing algorithm to address the issue of the PSO easily falling into local optima, enhancing the algorithm’s adaptability. The proposed algorithm updates and iterates particles to automatically find suitable model parameters. The remote sensing data used in this experiment were from the Yellow Sea aquaculture area near Dalian, China, with a segmentation accuracy of 91.8%. This method improves segmentation accuracy, reduces the burden of manual parameter tuning, and provides an effective solution for optimizing deep learning models.
