In this paper, we propose a new three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction technique in scattering media using integral imaging. In conventional integral imaging, it can visualize 3D images well when high-resolution elemental images are used. However, when low-resolution images are used, the visual quality of the 3D images is reduced. In addition, it is difficult to recognize the objects under scattering media conditions. Therefore, to visualize 3D images in scattering media, we create a mask filter in frequency domain to remove the scattering media. In addition, we calculate the density of the scattered media to adjust the contrast and histogram equalization automatically. To prove our method, we implemented optical experiments.

Investigated is the problem of estimating the 3 D shape of an object defined by a set of 3 D landmarks with their 2 D correspondences in a single image. To solve this problem, we use a dictionary of the basic shape with LDD-L1 regularization,which is the construction of the shape space model. Based on the proposed convex optimization method, 3 D human pose reconstruction by shape space model and 3 D variable shape model was carried out on the mocap database. To improve accuracy and reduce the number of iterations, we use PSO algorithm to optimize initial value of the key parameter. The experimental results show that the improved algorithm exhibits less iterations but higher accuracy, which can be much helpful in practical applications.

In this paper, we consider a secure distributed filtering problem for linear time-invariant systems with bounded noises and unstable dynamics under compromised observations. A malicious attacker is able to compromise a subset of the agents and manipulate the observations arbitrarily. We first propose a recursive distributed filter consisting of two parts at each time. The first part employs a saturation-like scheme, which gives a small gain if the innovation is too large. The second part is a consensus operation of state estimates among neighboring agents. A sufficient condition is then established for the boundedness of estimation error, which is with respect to network topology, system structure, and the maximal compromised agent subset. We further provide an equivalent statement, which connects to 2s-sparse observability in the centralized framework in certain scenarios, such that the sufficient condition is feasible. Numerical simulations are finally provided to illustrate the developed results.

In Reservoir engineering, state-of-the-art data analysis enables engineers to characterize reservoirs and plan for developing fields. This allows production companies to save huge amounts that would otherwise be allocated to reservoir modelling and simulation and well testing. Numerical reservoir modelling and simulation is the standard use in industries today for comprehensive study of fields. However, the inflexible behaviour, development time and cost of numerical simulators are major challenges to production engineers, managers as well as modellers. On the other hand, Artificial Intelligence (AI) based reservoir models are characterised with low cost of development, short development time and fast tract analysis and flexibility to estimate the uncertainties normally found in numerical simulators. In this study, a strategy for controlling gas production and pressure drop in gas condensate reservoir is described. Numerical simulations of production rate and pressure drop were carried out first and their results were saved. An Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy system was then developed and trained with some parts of the numerical simulation results. This AI-based system is checked and tested with part of the numerical simulation results that had not been used during the training. The developed system regenerates the numerical simulation results for both production rates and pressure drop at different Bottom Hole Pressures (BHPs) with very high accuracy (>98%). Results of this study showed that AI-based reservoir simulation can be considered a vital tool of help to production engineers, managers and modellers for a quick and more informed decision as regards field development plans that can meet operational targets.
