To solve the trajectory tracking control problem of a rigid manipulator system in the case of unexpected actuator failure,considering the uncertainty of system parameters and bounded disturbance,an adaptive fault-tolerant tracking control strategy is proposed in this ***,an adaptive strategy is designed to estimate and compensate the effects of actuator failure and system uncertainty,and the dynamic regression matrix is extended and mixed to improve the accuracy of parameter estimation without persistency of excitation(PE),which will enhance the trajectory tracking ***,in the framework of sliding mode fault-tolerant control,combined with standard Gradient Adaptive and Dynamic Regressor Extension(GA-DRE) parameter estimation technology,a composite adaptive fault-tolerant controller is ***,theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results show that the proposed method can perform accurate parameter estimation in a finite time under the premise of matching the new conditions based on DRE additional terms,and the trajectory tracking errors of the expected positions and velocities of each joint of the manipulator can asymptotically converge to zero.

The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated existing health disparities, and its impact has fallen disproportionately on disadvantaged and vulnerable communities. Racial and ethnic minorities such as Black Americans who are at a particular disadvantage are more likely to be the potential target of COVID-19 infection and are dying at alarmingly high rates. Despite a promising solution of the COVID-19 vaccination offers hope, equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines remains a challenge in the US, which has compounded the existing disparities in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths among racial and ethnic minority groups. The deep and pervasive history of medical racism in the US has led to the vaccine hesitancy in racial and ethnic minorities, and thereby caused the disparities. Although some studies examine determinants of health disparities (e.g., social health determinants), there is a shortage of studies examining the social, structural and constructural health determinants, either alone or in tandem with other determinants. Little research paid attention to leveraging geographic information to trace the social, structural and constructural health determinants, which can provide a lower level of granularity. In this paper, we propose DeepHealth, a geospatial and ML-based (machine learning based) approach to identify diverse determinants (including the social, structural, and constructural determinants) of health disparities in COVID-19 pandemic, which provides a lower level of granularity. We provide a thorough analysis of health disparities based on multiple COVID-19 datasets and examine the social, structural, and constructural health determinants to assist in ascertaining why disparities (in racial and ethnic minorities who are particularly disadvantaged) occur in incidence and mortality rates due to COVID-19 pandemic. With the growing presence of semiconductor devices in healthcare, automotive, and consumer electronics, Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) systems play an increasingly vital role in ensuring quality and reliability during validation. Despite their importance, ATE systems often operate in isolation from other manufacturing processes, limiting interoperability and integration potential. Consequently, fully incorporating ATE systems within the Industry 4.0 framework remains a largely unaddressed challenge. To bridge this gap, we propose adopting Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture (OPC UA), the industry de-facto standard communication protocol for machines, with an accompanying specification tailored to ATE systems. We developed and validated our information model on an advanced ATE system, demonstrating its practical application. The results showcase the successful integration of the ATE system into a fully-fledged Industrial computerengineering (ICE) laboratory demonstrator. This study validates the effectiveness of our model in a real-world scenario and highlights the significance of our integration approach within the context of Industry 4.0.

Tissue P systems are a class of distributed and parallel computing models inspired from inter-cellular communication and cooperation between cells. In this work, a variant of tissue P system, named tissue P system with look-ahead mode, is discussed for decreasing the inherent non-determinism of tissue P systems and helping implementing tissue P systems on computers. Such systems are proved to be universal by simulating register machine, and they are also proved to be able to efficiently solve computationally hard problems by means of a space-time tradeoff, which is illustrated with a polynomial solution to 3-coloring problem.

This paper investigates the pursuit-evasion problem involving one evader and multiple pursuers with limited sensing capability, where the evader tries to maximize the distance with the pursuers, while the pursuers have different objectives based on whether they can receive the information of the evader. The subgroup of pursuers who can observe the evader(called leaders) tries to be close to the evader, and the other subgroup of pursuers(called followers) tries to synchronize with their neighbors. When the subgraph formed by all leaders is complete, sufficient conditions are given to guarantee that the pursuers capture the evader and the pursuit-evasion game composed of the evader and leaders reaches Nash equilibrium. Furthermore, for the incomplete subgraph case, the distributed observers are proposed to estimate the relative positions between the evader and all leaders. It is shown that the distributed control strategy based on the observers converges exponentially to the Nash equilibrium solution, and makes the pursuers capture the evader. Finally, simulation examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategies.
