Since data sharing mechanism between the various business systems lacks of specification and standardization, information shares hardly and data exchange are inefficient, the paper proposes a data exchange platform for power enterprise based on ESB, which is based on SOA architecture, unified data exchange standards by using XML, used SOAP/HTTP(S) as the data transfer protocol between business systems and services bus and used Web Services as the business system data exchange standard interface. BEA ALSB service bus provides data exchange services for registration, release, information, routing and other functions. Practice has proved that the platform has good flexibility and scalability and can meet the business enterprise system between all kinds of complex data exchange requirements.

In this paper, we present several considerations centered around the data-driven system approaches. We briefly explore three main issues: the evolving relationship between off-line and on-line data processing methods, the complementary relationship between the data-driven and model-based methods, and the perspectives of data-driven system approaches. Instead of offering solutions to data-driven system problems, which is impossible at the present level of knowledge and research, in this article we aim at categorizing and classifying open problems, exploring possible directions that may offer alternatives or potentials for the four key fields of interests: control, decision making, scheduling, and fault diagnosis.

A periodic adaptive control approach is proposed for a class of discrete-time parametric-strict-feedback systems with unknown periodic coefficients which include the control *** the information of the past few periods, the proposed adaptive controller updates the parameters periodically in a pointwise manner over one entire *** means of backstepping design and through rigorous derivation, we show that the proposed controller guarantees the boundedness of all the closed-loop signals, and achieves the asymptotic tracking *** the end, an illustrative example is presented.

In this work we focus on iterative learning control(ILC) design for tracking iteration-varying reference trajectories that are generated by high-order internal models(HOIM).An HOIM can be formulated as a polynomial operator between consecutive iterations to describe the changes of desired trajectories in the iteration *** classical ILC for tracking iteration-invariant reference trajectories, on the other hand,is a special case of HOIM where the polynomial renders to a unity coefficient or a special first order internal *** inserting the HOIM into P-type ILC, the tracking performance along the iteration axis is investigated for a class of continuoustime nonlinear *** of conventional time-weighted norm method guarantees validity of proposed algorithm in a sense of data-driven control.

In this paper, we propose a new iterative learning control(ILC) scheme, which is devoted to dealing with unknown parameters that are both time varying and iteration *** particular, we consider iteration-varying parameters that are generated by a second-order internal model. By incorporating the internal model into the parametric learning law, the ILC scheme can handle more generic nonlinear systems and more generic parametric uncertainties, comparing with existing ILC schemes that are first order in essence. We further explore the conditions under which the new ILC scheme can guarantee learning convergence. Utilizing the information of previous two iterations and the method of composite energy function(CEF),we are able to derive pointwise convergence along the time axis and asymptotic convergence along the iteration axis.

A method for detecting spikes and slow burst in photic evoked electroencephalogram (EEG) was proposed. The spikes were detected by combining methods of the morphological filter and the similarity coefficient in the time domain. The slow burst was detected by using pole of AR model in the frequency domain. The proposed method was applied for the photic evoked EEG data containing spikes and slow burst, and brought satisfactory coincidence with the results interpreted by a qualified electroencephalographer. © 2009 SICE.

For an oversampled linear phase (LP) perfect reconstruction filter banks with lattice structure, the synthesis FB is not unique. However, existing methods to choose a synthesis FB for ldquooptimalrdquo noise reduction may destroy the linear phase and lattice structure property. This paper studies the noise reduction design problem for oversampled filter banks (FBs) preserving lattice structure. Both the optimal design and worst case design are considered, where the former caters for the noise with known power spectral density (PSD), and the latter for the noise with unknown PSD. Explicit formula for the former and LMI-based algorithms for the latter are provided.

In manufacturing industries of metallics molds, various NC machine tools are used. We have already proposed a desktop NC machine tool with compliance control capability to automatically cope with the finishing process of LED lens molds. The NC machine tool has an ability to control the polishing force acting between an abrasive tool and workpiece. The force control method is called impedance model force control. The most important gain is the desired damping of the impedance model. Ideally, the desired damping is calculated from the critical damping condition in consideration of the effective stiffness in force control system. However, one of the serious problems is that the effective stiffness of the NC machine tool has undesirable nonlinearity. The nonlinearity gives bad influences to the force control stability. In this paper, a fine tuning method of the desired damping is considered by using neural networks. The neural networks acquire the nonlinearity of effective stiffness. It has been observed that the desired damping generated from the learned neural networks allows the NC machine tool to achieve a stable finishing result.

In this paper, a new desktop orthogonal-type robot with a CAD/CAM-based position/force controller is presented for finishing small metallic molds with curved surface. The robot consists of a three-axis robot whose single one has a high position accuracy of 1 mum, which means that it can perform higher resolutions of position and force, compared to general industrial robots. A thin wood stick tool with a ball-end tip is attached to the z-axis through a force sensor. The control system of the robot is comprised of a force feedback loop, position feedback loop and position feedforward loop. The force feedback loop controls the polishing force consisting of tool contact force and kinetic friction forces. The position feedback loop controls the position in pick feed direction. Further, the position feedforward loop leads the tool tip along a spiral path. We first evaluate the backlash that causes inaccuracy in position at the tip of the abrasive tool, by simply measuring the position and force. Next, a surface following control experiment along a lens mold is conducted, in which the mold has axis-symmetric concave areas. Finally, a LED lens mold is further finished by using the proposed system in order to demonstrate the performance and promise.
