The intelligent system controls the subsystems of each aircraft in real time to ensure the normal development of the tasks of the aircraft system. In the process of system communication, the control system is required to strictly control the correctness of the control algorithm flow and the accuracy of the control sequence in order to ensure the safety of the aircraft system. This paper uses UPPAAL, a formal model detection tool based on time automata theory, to formally model and validate the algorithm flow of an intelligent system and a subsystem. First, the algorithm flow of the intelligent system is analyzed, and then it is formally modeled using the time automaton method. Second, the properties that need to be verified are extracted from the algorithm flow and described with the formal language BNF. Finally, the function and performance correctness are automatically verified using the UPPAAL model detection tool. The experimental results verify that the intelligent system meets the security, accessibility and activity requirements. © 2021 IEEE.

SymAware: A Software Development Framework for Trustworthy Multi-Agent Systems with Situational Awareness

Developing trustworthy multi-agent systems for practical applications is challenging due to the complicated communication of situational awareness (SA) among agents. This paper showcases a novel efficient and easy-to-use software framework for multi-agent simulation, named SymAware which provides a rich set of predefined data structures to compute, store, and communicate SA for agents. It also provides an abstract interface for the agents to compute their control inputs taking into account the awareness of the situation, knowledge, and risk of surrounding agents. Besides, utilizing a cluster of specialized components, SymAware hides the heavy computation of physical rendering and communication interfacing of simulation engines behind the control threads, resulting in high implementation efficiency in bridging the gap between conceptual prototyping and practical applications. Progressive Supervision Via Label Decomposition: An Long-Term and Large-Scale Wireless Traffic Forecasting Method

Long-term and Large-scale Wireless Traffic Forecasting (LL-WTF) is pivotal for strategic network management and comprehensive planning on a macro scale. However, LL-WTF poses greater challenges than short-term ones due to the pronounced non-stationarity of extended wireless traffic and the vast number of nodes distributed at the city scale. To cope with this, we propose a Progressive Supervision method based on Label Decomposition (PSLD). Specifically, we first introduce a Random Subgraph Sampling (RSS) algorithm designed to sample a tractable subset from large-scale traffic data, thereby enabling efficient network training. Then, PSLD employs label decomposition to obtain multiple easy-to-learn components, which are learned progressively at shallow layers and combined at deep layers to effectively cope with the non-stationary problem raised by LL-WTF tasks. Finally, we compare the proposed method with various state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods on three large-scale WT datasets. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that the proposed PSLD significantly outperforms existing methods, with an average 2%, 4%, and 11% performance improvement on three WT datasets, respectively. In addition, we built an open source library for WT forecasting (WTFlib) to facilitate related research, which contains numerous SOTA methods and provides a strong benchmark. Perturbation is an important property of fuzzy reasoning algorithms. It is an important task to estimate the upper and lower bounds of the output after a perturbation (such as an interval perturbation) is given to the input. In this study, the interval perturbation problem of a fuzzy reasoning algorithm, i.e., the ɑ-symmetric implicational algorithm, is researched systematically. For FMP (Fuzzy Modus Ponens) and FMT (Fuzzy Modus Tollens) problems of fuzzy reasoning, aiming at the case of a single rule, the estimation for the upper and lower bounds are obtained for the input interval disturbance, in which R-implications and (S, N)-implications are mainly employed. Then the stability is verified on account of the upper and lower bounds. Following that, for the multi-rule case, the upper and lower bounds of the output are also given, and the corresponding stability is validated. In sophisticated and complex systems such as nuclear power plant, maintaining the system's stability in the presence of uncertainties and disturbances is the most challenging problem. Thus, to assure the satisfactory and safe operation, this work proposes a novel fast robust optimal switching control strategy for pressurized water reactor-type nuclear power plants. The proposed control strategy guarantees a substantial degree of robustness, fast dynamic response over the entire operational envelope, and optimal performance during nominal operation of the plant. A bank of controllers is designed which consist of baseline controller, an optimal controller, and a robust controller. At any instant of time, the most suitable controller from the bank of controllers is selected using the switching logic unit that designates the controller by monitoring the health of the plant or transients. Simulation studies have been performed that demonstrate the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed switching control scheme over some conventional control techniques used to design it.

Infrared (IR) spectroscopy is a fundamental technique in analytical chemistry. Recently, deep learning (DL) has drawn great interest as the modeling method of infrared spectral data. However, unlike vision or language tasks, IR spectral data modeling is faced with the problem of calibration transfer and has distinctive characteristics. Introducing the prior knowledge of IR spectroscopy could guide the DL methods to learn representations aligned with the domain-invariant characteristics of spectra, and thus improve the performance. Despite such potential, there is a notable absence of DL methods that incorporate such inductive bias. To this end, we propose Analytical-Chemistry-Informed Transformer (ACT) with two modules informed by the field knowledge in analytical chemistry. First, ACT includes learnable spectral processing inspired by chemometrics, which comprises spectral pre-processing, tokenization, and post-processing. Second, a straightforward yet effective representation learning mechanism, namely spectral-attention, is incorporated into ACT. Spectral-attention utilizes the intra-spectral and inter-spectral correlations to extract spectral representations. Empirical results show that ACT has achieved competitive results in 9 analytical tasks covering applications across pharmacy, chemistry, and agriculture. Compared with existing networks, ACT reduces the root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) by more than 20% in calibration transfer tasks. These results indicate that DL methods in IR spectroscopy could benefit from the integration of prior knowledge in analytical chemistry. In prosthodontics, 3D printing primarily relies on intraoral scanners equipped with a handheld camera, computer, and software. These scanners capture and reconstruct the three-dimensional geometry of the dental arch. Traditional plaster models of teeth are typically obtained through an impression process, where the choice of appropriate impression material is determined by the desired model type. Subsequently, the dental impression is covered with plaster in the laboratory. Three-dimensional (3D) printing, formerly an industrial technology with a development history spanning over forty years, is based on creating a 3D model of any shape from a digitally prepared scan, employing an addition of selected material. The thickness of the layers in the printing process depends on the technology of the used printer and the quality of the print. The layers are systematically applied, and cured, and, after this process, a complete model is generated. 3D printing can be utilized to prepare models for various applications, including prosthodontics, orthodontics, surgery, and more. Our study aimed to assess stereolithography-printed models in vitro and in vivo over the last three years. © 2024 SPIE.

In the field of visual tracking, it is a significant challenge to accurately capture the dynamic changes of targets in complex scenes. To address this issue, this paper proposes a novel Hierarchical Feature-Aware Network (HFAN) to improve tracking performance. The design of HFAN mainly includes two pivotal components: Feature-Enhanced Unit (FEU) and Hierarchical Feature-Aware Unit (HFAU). FEU enhances the richness and discriminative power of target representations by reinforcing features from the templates and search regions. HFAU establishes comprehensive dependencies among multi-level features to capture the changing characteristics of targets across different spatial hierarchies. Finally, a Siamese tracker called HFANTrack is proposed to improve tracking accuracy and robustness in complex scenarios. Extensive experimental results show that our method achieves competitive tracking performance with a real-time speed of 49.3fps compared to state-of-the-art methods. © 2024 IEEE.

There are many models of memristors, but there are no reports on exponential memristors. In this paper, a three- dimension memristor Rucklidge system with exponential memristor is proposed by introducing exponential function and constructing exponential memristor. The dynamic behavior of the system is analyzed by means of Lyapunov exponent and bifurcation diagram. The complex attractor coexistence and amplitude modulation characteristics of the system are found. The internal variable of memristor is introduced into the second two-dimensional equation as a feedback term, and a conditional symmetric system is constructed for the three-dimensional memristor system, which can realize the polarity control of output signal. By discussing the dynamic characteristics of exponential memristor chaotic system and the control mechanism of amplitude modulation, bias and conditional symmetry, the complex dynamic characteristics of exponential function memristor are revealed, which lays a foundation for its application in the field of secure communication. © 2023 IEEE.

Metaheuristic optimization algorithms present an effective method for solving several optimization problems from various types of applications and *** metaheuristics and evolutionary optimization algorithms have been emerged recently in the literature and gained widespread attention,such as particle swarm optimization(PSO),whale optimization algorithm(WOA),grey wolf optimization algorithm(GWO),genetic algorithm(GA),and gravitational search algorithm(GSA).According to the literature,no one metaheuristic optimization algorithm can handle all present optimization *** novel optimization methodologies are still *** Al-Biruni earth radius(BER)search optimization algorithm is proposed in this *** proposed algorithm was motivated by the behavior of swarm members in achieving their global *** search space around local solutions to be explored is determined by Al-Biruni earth radius calculation method.A comparative analysis with existing state-of-the-art optimization algorithms corroborated the findings of BER’s validation and testing against seven mathematical optimization *** results show that BER can both explore and avoid local *** has also been tested on an engineering design optimization *** results reveal that,in terms of performance and capability,BER outperforms the performance of state-of-the-art metaheuristic optimization algorithms.
