The increasing preference for text-based communication on online chat applications has caused the number of social interactions to increase rapidly. However, text-based communication usually results in misunderstandings resulting from the absence of feeling intonation and emotions in the text. This study aims to create a chatbot that can detect emotions text to be entered into online chat applications. This study used a pre-trained model specifically trained from a collection of Indonesian-language datasets, namely IndoBERT-lite. The dataset used to train the model is a collection of Indonesian tweets totaling 4,403 which have been labeled with 5 classes of emotions, namely love, happy, anger, sadness, and fear. The hyperparameters used in this study to train the model were 5 epochs, batch size 16, learning rate 0.000003, and adam optimizer. Based on the test results with the parameters already mentioned, the accuracy, F1 score, recall, and precision values were obtained in the training set of 89%, 89%, 89%, and 90%, while the validation set obtained 70%, 71%, 70%, and 72%. © 2022 IEEE.

The technology of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RISs) is lately being considered as a boosting component for various indoor wireless applications, enabling wave propagation control and coverage extension. However, the incorporation of extremely large RISs, as recently being considered for ultrahigh capacity industrial environments at subTHz frequencies, imposes certain challenges for indoor channel characterization. In particular, such RISs contribute additional multipath components and their large sizes with respect to the signal wavelength lead to near-field propagation. To this end, ray tracing approaches become quite cumbersome and need to be rerun for different RIS unit cell designs. In this paper, we present a novel approach for the incorporation of RISs in indoor multipath environments towards their efficient channel characterization. An 100 × 100 RIS design with 2-bit resolution unit cells realizing a fixed anomalous reflection at 300 GHz is presented, whose radar cross section patterns are obtained via full-wave simulations. It is showcased that the RIS behavior can be conveniently approximated by a three-ray model, which can be efficiently incorporated within available ray tracing tools, and that the far-field approximation is valid for even very small distances from the RIS. © 2025 European Association on Antennas and Propagation.

This paper discusses about researching an automated robot car using artificial intelligence;training its neural network using AlexNet model, using YOLO (you only look once algorithm) for object detection phase and for practical deduction and judging component we have used Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) format. Our Robot Car model is agile and cost efficient. It detects objects efficiently in front of it and movement of it is smooth. It moves through sensors in motors which makes it different than other models in the world. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, we consider the unconstrained distributed optimization problem, in which the exchange of information in the network is captured by a directed graph topology, thus, nodes can only communicate with their neighbors. Additionally, in our problem, the communication channels among the nodes have limited bandwidth. In order to alleviate this limitation, quantized messages should be exchanged among the nodes. For solving this distributed optimization problem, we combine a gradient descent method with a distributed quantized consensus algorithm (which requires the nodes to exchange quantized messages and converges in a finite number of steps). Specifically, at every optimization step, each node (i) performs a gradient descent step (i.e., subtracts the scaled gradient from its current estimate), and (ii) performs a finite-time calculation of the quantized average of every node's estimate in the network. As a consequence, this algorithm approximately mimics the centralized gradient descent algorithm. We show that our algorithm asymptotically converges to a neighborhood of the optimal solution with linear convergence rate. The performance of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated via simple illustrative examples.

Big data processing frameworks demands for scalable and efficient cluster management. Apache Spark has emerged as prominent big data processing framework providing high-speed data processing and analytics capabilities for multiple applications. This paper explores the integration of Kubernetes as a cluster manager for Apache Spark applications leveraging its containerization capabilities to improve resource utilization and simplify deployment. In this paper the challenges of deploying spark applications on traditional cluster managers and showcase the advantages of adopting Kubernetes are analysed. The experimental evaluation demonstrates the benefits of Kubernetes as a cluster manager for Apache Spark framework. To execute the multiple Apache Spark applications on Kubernetes a homogenous cluster on Google Cloud is created by History bucket and service account. Finally multiple applications are executed on Google Kubernetes Engine. Output can be shown as the number of executor pods created with the performance metrics can be viewed. In conclusion, this paper compares the performance metrics such as job execution time and resource utilization with the different cluster.

Global traffic data are proliferating, including in Indonesia. The number of internet users in Indonesia reached 205 million in January 2022. This data means that 73.7% of Indonesia's population has used the internet. The median internet speed for mobile phones in Indonesia is 15.82 Mbps, while the median internet connection speed for Wi-Fi in Indonesia is 20.13 Mbps. As predicted by many, real-time traffic such as multimedia streaming dominates more than 79% of traffic on the internet network. This condition will be a severe challenge for the internet network, which is required to improve the Quality of Experience (QoE) for user mobility, such as reducing delay, data loss, and network costs. However, IP-based networks are no longer efficient at managing traffic. Named Data Network (NDN) is a promising technology for building an agile communication model that reduces delays through a distributed and adaptive name-based data delivery approach. NDN replaces the 'where' paradigm with the concept of 'what'. User requests are no longer directed to a specific IP address but to specific content. This paradigm causes responses to content requests to be served by a specific server and can also be served by the closest device to the requested data. NDN router has CS to cache the data, significantly reducing delays and improving the internet network's quality of Service (QoS). Motivated by this, in 2019, we began intensive research to achieve a national flagship product, an NDN router with different functions from ordinary IP routers. NDN routers have cache, forwarding, and routing functions that affect data security on name-based networks. Designing scalable NDN routers is a new challenge as NDN requires fast hierarchical name-based lookups, perpackage data field state updates, and large-scale forward tables. Wireless information and energy transfer (WIET) represents an emerging paradigm which employs controllable transmission of radio-frequency signals for the dual purpose of data communication and wireless charging. As such, WIET is widely regarded as an enabler of envisioned 6G use cases that rely on energy-sustainable Internet-of-Things (IoT) networks, such as smart cities and smart grids. Meeting the quality-of-service demands of WIET, in terms of both data transfer and power delivery, requires effective co-design of the information and energy signals. In this article, we present the main principles and design aspects of WIET, focusing on its integration in 6G networks. First, we discuss how conventional communication notions such as resource allocation and waveform design need to be revisited in the context of WIET. Next, we consider various candidate 6G technologies that can boost WIET efficiency, namely, holographic multiple-input multiple-output, near-field beamforming, terahertz communication, intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRSs), and reconfigurable (fluid) antenna arrays. We introduce respective WIET design methods, analyze the promising performance gains of these WIET systems, and discuss challenges, open issues, and future research directions. Finally, a near-field energy beamforming scheme and a power-based IRS beamforming algorithm are experimentally validated using a wireless energy transfer testbed. The vision of WIET in communication systems has been gaining momentum in recent years, with constant progress with respect to theoretical but also practical aspects. The comprehensive overview of the state of the art of WIET presented in this paper highlights the potentials of WIET systems as well as their overall benefits in 6G networks. With the advent of the Internet of Things, a world was born in which everything could be uniquely identified and monitored, tracked, and managed by computer programs. Items can self-configure using a predefined communication protocol. Other software programs can be linked to operate together using Message Queue Telemetry Transport Protocol (MQTT) or MQSeries components. Business integration software and middleware are common terms for this category of applications. With its suggested lightweight, easy-to-implement, and lowbandwidth system for billions of smart items, the MQTT protocol offers a wide range of potential applications, including home automation. In order to enhance the power savings in MQservice routing, we presented an intelligent assistant for optimizing routing model. For Internet of Things (IoT) purposes, it introduces an optimal routing model based on optimized hybrid machine learning-based anomaly detection (OHMLA). In order to extend the reach of a network, the offered approach allows Internet of Things devices to make efficient use of energy. To further enhance Intrusion Detection identification and get optimum network selection routes, the moth Salp Swarm technique (SSA) technique is used for the optimized hyperparameters. The model is capable of accurately detecting attacks that result in network congestion, causing delays in connection response and data transfer in IoT network. © 2024 IEEE.

Exponential growth in digital information outlets and the race to publish has made scientific misinformation more prevalent than ever. However, the task to fact-verify a given scientific claim is not straightforward even for researchers. Scientific claim verification requires in-depth knowledge and great labor from domain experts to substantiate supporting and refuting evidence from credible scientific sources. The SciFact dataset and corresponding task provide a benchmarking leaderboard to the community to develop automatic scientific claim verification systems via extracting and assimilating relevant evidence rationales from source abstracts. In this work, we propose a modular approach that sequentially carries out binary classification for every prediction subtask as in the SciFact leaderboard. Our simple classifier-based approach uses reduced abstract representations to retrieve relevant abstracts. These are further used to train the relevant rationale-selection model. Finally, we carry out two-step stance predictions that first differentiate non-relevant rationales and then identify supporting or refuting rationales for a given claim. Experimentally, our system RerrFact with no fine-tuning, simple design, and a fraction of model parameters fairs competitively on the leaderboard against large-scale, modular, and joint modeling approaches. © 2022 Copyright for this paper by its authors.
