The manufacturing sector is paying close attention to plastic matrix composites (PMCs) reinforced with natural fibres for improving their products. Due to the fact that PMC reinforced with naturally occurring fibres is more affordable and has superior mechanical qualities. Based on the application material requirements, An important step in the production of PMC is choosing the right natural fibres for reinforcing and determining how much of each. This investigation aimed that Artificial Intelligence (AI) or soft computing based approaches are used to determine the right amount of natural fibres in PMCs to make the manufacturing process simpler. However, techniques in the literature are not concentrated on finding suitable material. Hence in this investigation, a local search with support vector machine (LS-SVM) optimization technique is proposed for the optimal selection of appropriate proportions of suitable fibres. Modelling of the Proposed LS-SVM Optimization was demonstrated. In this proposed technique around four kinds of polymers/plastics and 14 natural fibres are considered, which are optimized in various proportions. The optimization performance is evaluated based on the tensile strength, flexural yield strength and flexural yield modulus. The proposed LS-SVM Optimization was evacuated by developing solutions for medical applications (Case 1), Transportation applications (Case 2) and other notable applications (Case 3) in terms of tensile and flexural properties of the material. The maximum flexure stress in case 1, case 2, and case 3 is observed as 53 MPa, 45 MPa and 26 MPa respectively. Similarly, the maximum flexure stress in case 1, case 2, and case 3 is observed as 53 MPa, 45 MPa and 26 MPa respectively. Hence the proposed method recommended for choosing optimal decision on the choice of fiber and their quantity in the composite matrix. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd

Mental stress is a major issue nowadays, especially among youngsters. The age that was considered once most carefree is now under a large amount of stress. Stress increase nowadays leads to many problems like depression, suicide, heart attack, and stroke. In this paper, we are calculating the mental stress of students one week before the exam and during the usage of the internet. Our objective is to analyze stress in the college students at different points in his life. The effect that exam pressure or recruitments stress has on the student which often goes unnoticed. We will perform an analysis on how these factors affect the mind of a student and will also correlate this stress with the time spent on the internet. The dataset was taken from Jaypee institute of Information technology and it consisted of 206 student’s data. Four classification algorithms Linear Regression, Naïve Bayes, Random Forest, and SVM is applied and sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy are used as a performance parameter. The accuracy and performance of data are further enhanced by applying 10-Fold Cross-Validation. The highest accuracy recorded was by Support Vector Machine (85.71%). © 2019 The Authors. engineering the complex amplitude and polarization of light is essential for various applications. In this direction, many deterministic and random optical beams such as Airy Bessel, and self-rotating beams were developed. While the above beams satisfied the requirements for the targeted applications, they are not suitable for imaging applications in spite of the valuable axial characteristics they possess, as they are not effective object-image mapping elements. Consequently, when exotic beams were implemented for direct imaging, only a distorted image was obtained. However, the scenario is different in coded aperture imaging (CAI) methods, where the imaging mode is indirect, consisting of optical recording and computational image recovery. Therefore, the point spread function (PSF) in CAI is not the recorded intensity distribution but the reconstructed intensity distribution. By employing a suitable computational reconstruction method, it is possible to convert the recorded intensity distribution into a Delta-like function. In this study, Lucy-Richardson-Rosen algorithm has been implemented as a generalized image recovery method for a wide range of optical beams, and the performance is validated in both simulation and optical experiments.

Grids are the type of distributed machines in which aggregation of resources is done to provide services. Grid environment needs to be fault tolerance so as to obtain maximum performance of the tasks that are being processed on it. A novel fault tolerance approach is designed by us. Fault tolerance approaches mainly lie into two categories, Replica Based approach, and Check-Pointing approach. The main limitation of Replica Based Approach (RBA) is its non-applicability to cost-based resources whereas Check-Pointing Approach (CPA) suffers from the inherent disadvantages of taking Check-Point which incur overhead and wastage of time. In our approach, the large task is divided into various subtasks on the basis of data flow and control flow dependencies. The experimental results show that the proposed approach is efficient than a Check-Point approach in terms of various parameters like the number of Grid lets successfully completed an average execution time of a task. Due to the tremendous usage of social media platform, its need of an hour to understand the societal opinion trends about certain topics posted on social media. Monitoring and understanding the pulse of social media allows to gain feedback and to understand the people or market in a better way. There is also an outpour of information, related to the thoughts, feelings, expressions, experience, likes and dislikes that everyone tends to give out in social media. The catch is to utilize this for a novel purpose that can aid the thinkers, technocrats, leaders, communications, innovators to build a proactive say today, on the challenges of tomorrow. It will be like learning the 'mind of the society' and to aid the citizens with the necessary conditions to make their lives better. This is exactly what we have attempted to do *** digging deep into the data generated by social media, we can get the answer of following questions;What happened in the past? 2) What is happening now? based on these answers we can obtain the answer to the question What can happen in the future?. Free Hand Sketching is considered as a key factor for creative articulation, one the best visual reasoning method which is applied for design. This is considered as a basic approach where the engineers express their ideas through illustrations which give visual insights for improvement and update. Hand-drawn representations are a simple path for scientists to convey and express thoughts, and also record, investigate and depict ideas between specialist, client, or customer. Despite the fact that experts and engineers accept that sketching helps them to model their innovative ideas in a better and easy way yet the engineering education system does not show the appropriate presence for sketching in their *** paper reports about using the free hand sketching as an important tool for engineers to learn during their study of concepts and methods of various unified modelling Diagrams. This paper also gives the understanding that principles of object oriented approaches can better be explained and implemented with hand drawing sketches which can help them to generate faster and more effective external conceptions of their ideas.

The paper proposes a novel sliding-mode observer (SMO) algorithm with adaptive gain variation algorithm for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for estimation of speed and position of the motor. The PMSM drive is controlled using field oriented control and to control the machine mathematical model of PMSM is adopted. To make the drive sensorless, to reduce the cost and dependency on hardware, estimation of speed using back-electromotive force (Back-EMF), sliding-mode observer and adaptive gain variation sliding-mode observer is simulated in MATLAB - Simulink environment. The mathematical preliminary, block diagram representation of the scheme and simulation results are presented in this paper. The simulation results are obtained using MATLAB Simulink and compared for wide range of speed for different methods and results are discussed with effectiveness of proposed SMO algorithm application to PMSM drive.

Thin walled structures and other monolithic components are used in aerospace as well as automobile industries. They have structural homogeneity and excellent strength to weight ratio. Ribs, stingers, spars and bulk heads are few other monolithic components. These monolithic components are also used as structural parts. More workpiece material is removed in end milling, which is possible athigh speeds. In thin wall machining, thickness of wall is reduced graduallyduring cutting, which makes ita very complicated process. At high speed, deflection of the machinedthin wall work piece is expected due to end mill forces, machining error and reduced machining accuracy. In this current study, the thin wall aluminium workpiece is fabricated using high end milling speeds and deflections as well as surface roughness of thin walls are *** work piece is machined on conventional milling machine. Experiments are carried out to study the deflection and surface roughness of the thin walls of the work piece at varying feed rate, speed and depth of cut. Deflections and surface roughness of thin walls are measured by optical microscope and non-contacting surface profilometer. The effects of process parameters on the deflection and surface roughness of thin walls are analysed by ANOVA regression technique.
