Malware classification involves categorizing mal-ware samples based on their characteristics. While deep learning techniques applied to malware execution traces, mainly API calls, have shown potential in this field, they still perform poorly. This is primarily because they treat all APIs equally and train classifiers directly on native APIs, which inadequately capture the under-lying family-related semantics. In this paper, we first investigate the behaviors of multiple malware families and observe that different families exhibit divergent behaviors, with each family consistently favoring certain behaviors over time. Motivated by this, we propose APIBeh, a new embedding method designed to enhance malware classification. APIBeh first utilizes Benignity Degree Algorithm to identify and exclude insignificant, likely benign APIs from sequences. Then, it introduces the concept of Behavior Inclination, which quantifies the association between an API and malicious behaviors, facilitating high-level behavior encoding for each API. This Behavior Inclination embedding is then concatenated with raw embedding to represent an API, and fed into a DL model for classifier training. Experimental results show that APIBeh outperforms existing embedding methods in classification performance, e.g., 3.18% boost in weighted f1-score over a recent study using word2vec. In addition, it offers robustness to concept drift and adversarial attacks. © 2024 IEEE.

Context-Aware Semantic Type Identification for Relational Attributes

Identifying semantic types for attributes in relations,known as attribute semantic type(AST)identification,plays an important role in many data analysis tasks,such as data cleaning,schema matching,and keyword search in ***,due to a lack of unified naming standards across prevalent information systems(*** islands),AST identification still remains as an open *** tackle this problem,we propose a context-aware method to figure out the ASTs for relations in this *** transform the AST identification into a multi-class classification problem and propose a schema context aware(SCA)model to learn the representation from a collection of relations associated with attribute values and schema *** on the learned representation,we predict the AST for a given attribute from an underlying relation,wherein the predicted AST is mapped to one of the labeled *** improve the performance for AST identification,especially for the case that the predicted semantic types of attributes are not included in the labeled ASTs,we then introduce knowledge base embeddings(***)to enhance the above representation and construct a schema context aware model with knowledge base enhanced(SCA-KB)to get a stable and robust *** experiments based on real datasets demonstrate that our context-aware method outperforms the state-of-the-art approaches by a large margin,up to 6.14%and 25.17%in terms of macro average F1 score,and up to 0.28%and 9.56%in terms of weighted F1 score over high-quality and low-quality datasets respectively.

Trajectory optimization for UAV-enabled relaying with reinforcement learning

In this paper,we investigate the application of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)-enabled relaying system in emergency communications,where one UAV is applied as a relay to help transmit information from ground users to a Base Station(BS).We maximize the total transmitted data from the users to the BS,by optimizing the user communication scheduling and association along with the power allocation and the trajectory of the *** solve this non-convex optimization problem,we propose the traditional Convex Optimization(CO)and the Reinforcement Learning(RL)-based ***,we apply the block coordinate descent and successive convex approximation techniques in the CO approach,while applying the soft actor-critic algorithm in the RL *** simulation results show that both approaches can solve the proposed optimization problem and obtain good ***,the RL approach establishes emergency communications more rapidly than the CO approach once the training process has been completed.

The development of technologies such as big data and blockchain has brought convenience to life,but at the same time,privacy and security issues are becoming more and more *** K-anonymity algorithm is an effective and low computational complexity privacy-preserving algorithm that can safeguard users’privacy by anonymizing big ***,the algorithm currently suffers from the problem of focusing only on improving user privacy while ignoring data *** addition,ignoring the impact of quasi-identified attributes on sensitive attributes causes the usability of the processed data on statistical analysis to be *** on this,we propose a new K-anonymity algorithm to solve the privacy security problem in the context of big data,while guaranteeing improved data ***,we construct a new information loss function based on the information quantity *** that different quasi-identification attributes have different impacts on sensitive attributes,we set weights for each quasi-identification attribute when designing the information loss *** addition,to reduce information loss,we improve K-anonymity in two ***,we make the loss of information smaller than in the original table while guaranteeing privacy based on common artificial intelligence algorithms,i.e.,greedy algorithm and 2-means clustering *** addition,we improve the 2-means clustering algorithm by designing a mean-center method to select the initial center of ***,we design the K-anonymity algorithm of this scheme based on the constructed information loss function,the improved 2-means clustering algorithm,and the greedy algorithm,which reduces the information ***,we experimentally demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm in improving the effect of 2-means clustering and reducing information loss.

A Part-of-Speech Tagging Model Employing Word Clustering and Syntactic Parsing

Part-Of-Speech tagging is a basic task in the field of natural language processing. This paper builds a POS tagger based on improved Hidden Markov model, by employing word clustering and syntactic parsing model. Firstly, In order to overcome the defects of the classical HMM, Markov family model (MFM), a new statistical model was introduced. Secondly, to solve the problem of data sparseness, we propose a bottom-to-up hierarchical word clustering algorithm. Then we combine syntactic parsing with part-of-speech tagging. The Part-of-Speech tagging experiments show that the improved Part-Of-Speech tagging model has higher performance than Hidden Markov models (HMMs) under the same testing conditions, the precision is enhanced from 94.642% to 97.235%.

RESTful API fuzzing is a promising method for automated vulnerability detection in Kubernetes *** tools struggle with generating lengthy,high-semantic request sequences that can pass Kubernetes API gateway *** address this,we propose KubeFuzzer,a black-box fuzzing tool designed for Kubernetes RESTful *** utilizes Natural Language Processing(NLP)to extract and integrate semantic information from API specifications and response messages,guiding the generation of more effective request *** evaluation of KubeFuzzer on various Kubernetes clusters shows that it improves code coverage by 7.86%to 36.34%,increases the successful response rate by 6.7%to 83.33%,and detects 16.7%to 133.3%more bugs compared to three leading *** identified over 1000 service crashes,which were narrowed down to 7 unique *** tested these bugs on 10 real-world Kubernetes projects,including major providers like AWS(EKS),Microsoft Azure(AKS),and Alibaba Cloud(ACK),and confirmed that these issues could trigger service *** have reported and confirmed these bugs with the Kubernetes community,and they have been addressed.

AMSCF-Net: An adaptive multi-scale cost fusion stereo network for high-quality disparity estimation

Accurate and complete reconstruction of the high-quality three-dimensional (3D) geometric information from stereo images has been one of the challenging tasks in the fields of photogrammetry and computer vision. Although tremendous efforts have been made in stereo matching by utilizing convolutional neural network (CNN)-based deep learning architectures, the matching ambiguities in the case of occlusions, disparity discontinuities, and poor and repetitive texture areas remain to be explored. In this paper, to address these issues, we propose a novel end-to-end disparity estimation network named AMSCF-Net, which consists of two main components: the context and geometry adaptive attention weight generation (CGA-AWG) subnetwork for yielding robust multi-scale attention weights, and the adaptive multi-scale cost volume fusion (AMS-CVF) subnetwork to enhance the feature representation of the cost volumes for accurate disparity map prediction. Firstly, the multi-scale feature maps are obtained from the stereo images by employing a weight-sharing hierarchical feature extraction subnetwork. Secondly, the CGA-AWG subnetwork is adopted to produce accurate and robust multi-scale attention weights. Thirdly, the adaptive multi-scale cost volume fusion (AMS-CVF) subnetwork is introduced to boost the robustness of the fused cost volume in the poor and repetitive texture areas, while simultaneously preserving the details of the scene's geometric structure in the rich texture regions. Finally, the context and geometry adaptive disparity map prediction (CGA-DMP) subnetwork is applied to further refine the cost volumes for high-accuracy disparity map reconstruction. Three publicly available benchmark datasets, i.e., the KITTI 2015, US3D, and Vaihingen stereo datasets, were used to evaluate the performance of AMSCF-Net.
