Phenotypic prediction before crop planting and harvest facilitates plant phenotyping analysis and the implementation of precision agriculture, which is crucial for food security policy formulation, crop management, and food security. Environmental data collected in the field, as important factors affecting phenotypes, can be used together with genotypes to train phenotypic prediction models to improve their prediction capabilities. Although the rise of deep learning has provided a powerful tool for predicting phenotypes using genotype and environmental data, current research only performs simple splicing operations when processing genotype and environmental data and fails to effectively model the impact of genotype and environment on phenotype. Therefore, it is still challenging to accurately predict phenotype using genotype and environment. To solve the problems mentioned above, we design a phenotype prediction model named FF-LSTM. In this method, LSTM is used to extract features from SNP and environmental, and the feature fusion method weights the extracted features to simulate the influence of genotype and environment on phenotype. We conducted experiments on the dataset and verified the effectiveness of this method by analyzing and evaluating the experimental results. © 2024 SPIE.

An entailment tree is a structured reasoning path that clearly demonstrates the process of deriving hypotheses through multiple steps of inference from known premises. It enhances the interpretability of QA systems. Existing methods for generating entailment trees typically employ iterative frameworks to ensure reasoning faithfulness. However, they often suffer from the issue of false feasible steps, where selected steps appear feasible but actually lead to incorrect intermediate conclusions. Moreover, the existing iterative frameworks do not consider error-prone search branches, resulting in error propagation. In this work, we propose SPEH: an iterative entailment tree generation framework with Step fesibility Perception and state Error Handling mechanisms. Step Feasibility Perception enables the model to learn how to choose steps that are not false feasible. State Error Handling includes error detection and backtracking, allowing the model to correct errors when entering incorrect search branches. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in improving the generation of entailment trees. © 2024 ELRA Language Resource Association: CC BY-NC 4.0.

With the development of intelligent agents pursuing humanisation,artificial intelligence must consider emotion,the most basic spiritual need in human *** emotional dialogue systems usually use an external emotional dictionary to select appropriate emotional words to add to the response or concatenate emotional tags and semantic features in the decoding step to generate appropriate ***,selecting emotional words from a fixed emotional dictionary may result in loss of the diversity and consistency of the *** propose a semantic and emotion-based dual latent variable generation model(Dual-LVG)for dialogue systems,which is able to generate appropriate emotional responses without an emotional *** from previous work,the conditional variational autoencoder(CVAE)adopts the standard transformer ***,Dual-LVG regularises the CVAE latent space by introducing a dual latent space of semantics and *** content diversity and emotional accuracy of the generated responses are improved by learning emotion and semantic features ***,the average attention mechanism is adopted to better extract semantic features at the sequence level,and the semi-supervised attention mechanism is used in the decoding step to strengthen the fusion of emotional features of the *** results show that Dual-LVG can successfully achieve the effect of generating different content by controlling emotional factors.

The data element market is a product of the digital age, in which the reasonable pricing of data is crucial. This paper reviews the research progress of data pricing models in the data element market. Firstly, the background and significance of data pricing are introduced, and the importance of data in today's digital economy is expounded. Secondly, in view of the challenges and needs of data pricing model, the research direction and main content of data pricing model are summarized. Then, several typical data pricing models are analyzed in detail, including methods based on information entropy, machine learning, query, etc. Finally, the current research status of models is summarized, the advantages, disadvantages and development trends of various models are pointed out, and the difficulties and problems that need further research are put forward. The purpose of the paper is to systematically sort out the research status of data pricing model, and provide theoretical support and methodological guidance for the development of data element market. © 2024 IEEE.

Synthetic lethal interactions are critical genetic interactions that have been discovered for identifying new drug targets and potential cancer drug combination strategies. As a targeted approach to selectively kill cancer cells, it has attracted great attention in the field of cancer treatment. However, with the rapid growth of high-throughput data, effective identification of synthetic lethal interactions remains challenging. Although many graph topology methods focus on predicting SL interactions, heterogeneous graphs that exist in the real world tend to be scale-free, where the number of high-order neighbor nodes of high-degree nodes grows exponentially. The graph embedding method based on Euclidean space may not be able to effectively capture the internal hierarchical structure of the scale-free network, and there is not enough space to accommodate the nodes, making the node embedding highly distorted, which greatly limits the modeling ability. In this paper, we propose a model named HLASL based on the hyperbolic Lorentz attention mechanism, it ensures that the learned node features follow a Lorentz manifold. Specifically, in hyperbolic space, we use Lorentzian manifolds to encode heterogeneous information from KGs and information about synthetic lethality. In addition, we introduce the Lorenz knowledge graph attention mechanism to distinguish the weights of different information from the hyperbolic space to optimize gene embedding. Experiments on two datasets show that HLASL outperforms several state-of-the-art baseline methods in synthetic lethality prediction. © 2024 SPIE.

Single-cell RNA sequencing allows to discovery of new cell subtypes based on transcriptomic information. Clustering analysis is an effective approach for exploring single-cell heterogeneity. Nevertheless, current single-cell clustering methodologies are challenged by the high-dimensional, sparse, and dropouts on the one hand, and on the other hand, they neglect the thorough exploration of potential relationships between cells and noise removal. To tackle these challenges, this study introduces a novel self-optimized single-cell clustering algorithm named scZVEA, which combines Zero- Inflated Negative Binomial (ZINB) model and variational graph attention autoencoder. The scZVEA framework comprises three key modules. Firstly, a Deep Count Autoencoder (DCA) is designed to model data distribution and eliminate noise. Then, a variational graph attention autoencoder to extract latent features from the data. Lastly, the self-optimized clustering module enables the two previously independent clustering and feature modules to mutually benefit each other by iteratively updating cluster centers to further enhance clustering performance. Experimental findings based on six authentic scRNAseq datasets illustrate that the proposed clustering algorithm significantly enhances clustering accuracy when compared to alternative methods. © 2024 SPIE.

OmniSQL: Synthesizing High-quality Text-to-SQL data at Scale

Text-to-SQL, the task of translating natural language questions into SQL queries, plays a crucial role in enabling non-experts to interact with databases. While recent advancements in large language models (LLMs) have significantly enhanced text-to-SQL performance, existing approaches face notable limitations in real-world text-to-SQL applications. Prompting-based methods often depend on closed-source LLMs, which are expensive, raise privacy concerns, and lack customization. Fine-tuning-based methods, on the other hand, suffer from poor generalizability due to the limited coverage of publicly available training data. To overcome these challenges, we propose a novel and scalable text-to-SQL data synthesis framework for automatically synthesizing large-scale, high-quality, and diverse datasets without extensive human intervention. Using this framework, we introduce SynSQL-2.5M, the first million-scale text-to-SQL dataset, containing 2.5 million samples spanning over 16,000 synthetic databases. Each sample includes a database, SQL query, natural language question, and chain-of-thought (CoT) solution. Leveraging SynSQL-2.5M, we develop OmniSQL, a powerful open-source text-to-SQL model available in three sizes: 7B, 14B, and 32B. Extensive evaluations across nine datasets demonstrate that OmniSQL achieves state-of-the-art performance, matching or surpassing leading closed-source and open-source LLMs, including GPT-4o and DeepSeek-V3, despite its smaller size. This study addresses the challenges faced in personalized tutoring within large-scale programming courses, such as significant ability gaps among students, limited available resources, among others. For these reasons, we proposed an intelligent programming assistant, ProgMate, based on large language models (LLMs). Benefitting from the robust understanding and learning capabilities of LLM, ProgMate not only comprehensively monitors the learning process, but can also surpass human teaching in aspects such as intelligent assignment grading, identification of knowledge gaps, and assessment of learning abilities. ProgMate embodies a new 4-A digital teaching paradigm, characterized by its ability to provide precise guidance with anything, to anyone, anywhere, at any time, with features like 'omnipresence', 'adaptive guidance' and 'customization'. It facilitates the organic integration of collective teaching and individualized guidance, continuous learning, and long-term development, as well as resource efficiency and precision nurturing, offering a viable path and empirical support for the digital transformation of future education. © 2024 IEEE.

Generating coherent and credible explanations remains a significant challenge in the field of AI. In recent years, researchers have delved into the utilization of entailment trees to depict explanations, which exhibits a reasoning process of how a hypothesis is deduced from the supporting facts. However, existing models often overlook the importance of generating intermediate conclusions with logical consistency from the given facts, leading to inaccurate conclusions and undermining the overall credibility of entailment trees. To address this limitation, we propose the logical pattern memory pre-trained model (LMPM). LMPM incorporates an external memory structure to learn and store the latent representations of logical patterns, which aids in generating logically consistent conclusions. Furthermore, to mitigate the influence of logically irrelevant domain knowledge in the Wikipedia-based data, we introduce an entity abstraction approach to construct the dataset for pre-training LMPM. The experimental results highlight the effectiveness of our approach in improving the quality of entailment tree generation. By leveraging logical entailment patterns, our model produces more coherent and reasonable conclusions that closely align with the underlying premises.
