AI and virtual assistants are transforming higher education by using digital tools to enhance teaching and learning in ways that go beyond traditional methods. These digital tools are not merely supplementary aids but are increasingly gaining popularity in educationalsetting offering innovative approaches that transcend conventional methods. In this research we introduce ByteBuddy a virtual assistant which assists instructors on Java ***'s framework is designed in a way to integrate easily into educational context. This study reveals the architecture of ByteBuddy, the process model that captured the behavior of students in the learning environment and the observation of its application in java instructions. By applying this study, we provide profound insights on how the effective use of ByteBuddy supplements the teaching practices and measure learning outcomes. © 2025 IEEE.

A new, improved computer program made specifically for banking helps in solving problems like inadequate guidance and makes it convenient for people who cannot visit banks for some reason. This helps people answer questions faster and makes it easier for bank workers. Making the program better involved picking the right model and making a special set of data. After making these improvements, the llama2_sharded model is really good at answering banking questions, doing better than others by 2.67%. PALCT: vehicle-to-vehicle communication based on pseudonym assignment and encryption scheme using delay minimisation cover tree algorithm

Vehicle-to-vehicle communication is one of the new paradigms of networking, which should be secure, fast, and efficient. In this paper, we propose a framework that implements the pseudonym-based authentication scheme in which communication among vehicles is encrypted by using a matrix array symmetric key (MASK), digital signature algorithm (DSA), and intelligent water drop (IWD). The proposed security scheme also ensures the handling of many security attacks like key-guessing, non-repudiation, replay, and modification. In the proposed scheme, to preserve the identity of the vehicle, we have provided the different pseudonyms for each vehicle in the network that ensure secure communication among vehicles. Furthermore, the proposed delay minimisation cover tree algorithm ensures the issue of timed delay during vehicle-to-vehicle communication. In this algorithm, we have used Dijkstra’s algorithm for finding the optimal shortest path during vehicular communication. The results obtained show that the proposed scheme is effective and efficient, as it reduces the time delay by 4% for 140 vehicle nodes and 28.4% for 1000 vehicle nodes. Smart cities aim to provide more digitalized, equitable, sustainable, and liveable cities. In smart cities data evolves as an important asset and citizens data in particular is being used to provide data-driven mobility services. Likewise, in smart cities data is produced and used by individuals having no ownership or control over these data thus affecting their security and privacy. Also, actors such as mobility service providers, companies, third parties, etc. often leverage individuals’ data without regarding users’ autonomy. Accordingly, data sovereignty which entails the possibility to govern and keep control over owned data is gaining widespread attention. As a result, stakeholders in the mobility sector need to share data whilst keeping control to manage data access and usage. Although, existing initiatives are promoting sovereign participation using a federated infrastructure. However, achieving an effective governance usage control and access mechanisms can be challenging especially in the transportation sector. It is thus imperative for individuals to have control, ownership, and custody over their data. This has necessitated the notions of data sovereignty. Therefore, this article employs a systematic review to examine how data sovereignty can be achieved for individuals when they use urban mobility services in smart cities by enabling the secure sharing of data by giving control of data over to individuals. Additionally, this article designs a data control scheme that can be applied to realize data sovereign mobility services. Evidence from this study provides technical and non-technical requirements needed in realizing data sovereignty in smart cities. © 2025 The Author(s)

We consider the problem of learning temporal logic formulas from examples of system behavior. Learning temporal properties has crystallized as an effective means to explain complex temporal behaviors. Several efficient algorithms have been designed for learning temporal formulas. However, the theoretical understanding of the complexity of the learning decision problems remains largely unexplored. To address this, we study the complexity of the passive learning problems of three prominent temporal logics, Linear Temporal Logic (LTL), Computation Tree Logic (CTL) and Alternating-time Temporal Logic (ATL) and several of their fragments. We show that learning formulas with unbounded occurrences of binary operators is NP-complete for all of these logics. On the other hand, when investigating the complexity of learning formulas with bounded occurrences of binary operators, we exhibit discrepancies between the complexity of learning LTL, CTL and ATL formulas (with a varying number of agents). © Benjamin Bordais, Daniel Neider, and Rajarshi Roy.

The industry is rapidly transitioning from the 4.0 era to the 5.0 era, prompting renewed interest among scholars in scheduling problems. They allow operations to process and assemble various components simultaneously. This bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive understanding of the diverse research perspectives on the potential challenges of integrated scheduling within the framework. We identified 357 Scopus articles and analysed co-occurrence keyword (CNK) by VOSViewer tools and Global Citation Score (GCS) by Scopus tools. The research data obtained from 1993 to 2023 mainly in the subject areas of Engineering, computer science, Maths, and others. CNK identified six cluster keywords, and nine most cited articles based on normalised GCS. These results contribute to our understanding of the development of scheduling algorithms, shifting from an emphasis on manufacturing transfers to contemporary demand-centric research directions. Furthermore, this research provides a valuable perspective for policymakers, plant personnel, and manufacturing managers to make informed decisions. © 2025 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Deep Networks as Denoising Algorithms: Sample-Efficient Learning of Diffusion Models in High-Dimensional Graphical Models

We investigate the efficiency of deep neural networks for approximating scoring functions in diffusion-based generative modeling. While existing approximation theories leverage the smoothness of score functions, they suffer from the curse of dimensionality for intrinsically high-dimensional data. This limitation is pronounced in graphical models such as Markov random fields, where the approximation efficiency of score functions remains unestablished. To address this, we note score functions can often be well-approximated in graphical models through variational inference denoising algorithms. Furthermore, these algorithms can be efficiently represented by neural networks. We demonstrate this through examples, including Ising models, conditional Ising models, restricted Boltzmann machines, and sparse encoding models. Combined with off-the-shelf discretization error bounds for diffusion-based sampling, we provide an efficient sample complexity bound for diffusion-based generative modeling when the score function is learned by deep neural networks. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

This system provides a comprehensive overview of hospital environments by tracking air quality, dust, temperature, and humidity simultaneously, offering a more complete picture of indoor conditions than systems that focus on fewer parameters. The use of IoT technology enables real-time monitoring and alerts, allowing hospital staff to respond immediately to any issues. Additionally, predictive analytics anticipate future changes, giving staff time to take preventive measures. The integration with a mobile app and cloud-based data storage ensures easy access to data, convenient monitoring, and the ability to scale the system across multiple hospital facilities, catering specifically to the unique needs of different healthcare environments. © The Author(s) 2025.
