A world model is essential for an agent to predict the future and plan in domains such as autonomous driving and robotics. To achieve this, recent advancements have focused on video generation, which has gained significant attention due to the impressive success of diffusion models. However, these models require substantial computational resources. To address these challenges, we propose a world model leveraging object-centric representation space using slot attention, guided by language instructions. Our model perceives the current state as an object-centric representation and predicts future states in this representation space conditioned on natural language instructions. This approach results in a more compact and computationally efficient model compared to diffusion-based generative alternatives. Furthermore, it flexibly predicts future states based on language instructions, and offers a significant advantage in manipulation tasks where object recognition is crucial. In this paper, we demonstrate that our latent predictive world model surpasses generative world models in visuo-linguo-motor control tasks, achieving superior sample and computation efficiency. We also investigate the generalization performance of the proposed method and explore various strategies for predicting actions using object-centric representations. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. HIV is a serious disease that impairs immunity. Without treatment, the infection may progress through three stages, which might drastically shorten a person's life. Artificial neural networks (ANNs) are utilized to detect the HIV infection and even to find treatments for it. The AIDS viral infection is predicted in this review. The aim of ANN is to precisely classify patients according to whether or not they have HIV/AIDS. We have formed a custom ANN model and applied it to the Kaggle dataset that is accessible to the public, compared which optimizers offer the best accuracy and whether employing dropouts yields improved accuracy. With Gradient Descent, we achieved the maximum accuracy of 86.92% it is also one of the most commonly used optimizers due to its simplicity and effectiveness, followed by SGD with 86.45% it is a variation of gradient descent in which a random subset of data as opposed to the complete dataset is used to update the parameter and RMSprop with 86.21% uses the average of recent gradient magnitudes to modify the learning rate for each parameter. This aids with training stabilization, particularly when dealing with sparse or noisy data. The accuracy increased to 87.62% after we introduced dropouts to the hidden layer with optimizer as gradient descent, which produced the best results. Loss vs. Accuracy graphs and ROC curve have been plotted. With dropouts, the custom ANN model performed even better on the Gradient Descent optimizer. © 2025 IEEE.

Designing an intelligent computer game for predicting dysgraphia

Dysgraphia is a key cognitive disorder impacting writing skills. Current tests often identify dysgraphia after writing issues emerge. This paper presents a set of computer games and uses machine learning to analyze the results, predicting if a child is at risk. The games focus on cognitive differences like visual attention between dysgraphic and typical children. The machine learning model forecasts dysgraphia by observing how kids interact with these games. We also create an algorithm to detect unsuitable testing conditions, acting as a preprocess to avoid mislabeling them as dysgraphia. We developed a machine learning model capable of predicting dysgraphia with 93.24% accuracy in a test group of 74 participants. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Advances in digitization and resource-sharing business models have created new opportunities for manufacturing companies, enhancing competitiveness and resilience. However, these benefits bring computational challenges in efficiently planning and scheduling shared resources. Therefore, there is a need for scalable and quick solutions for practical applications. Shared manufacturing systems share characteristics with parallel machine scheduling, allowing for the application of advancements from this domain. This research focuses on Multi-Agent Parallel Machine Scheduling (MAPMS) in shared manufacturing, specifically addressing scenarios involving two parallel machines and distinct agents managing exclusive, set of non-overlapping orders. The study introduces a novel multi-objective mixed integer programming (MIP) model for order scheduling across multiple facilities, accounting for sequence-dependent setup times between orders. It also proposes a new heuristic method designed for industrial use. Benchmark instances demonstrate the practicality of both the MIP model and heuristic, contributing valuable insights into MAPMS challenges in shared manufacturing environments. © 2025 The Authors.

Blockchain technology represents a modern supply chain management revolution which fixes operational challenges while providing enhanced transparency at reduced costs. The research develops HB-SCOF (Hybrid Blockchain-Enabled Supply Chain Optimization Framework) which combines blockchain self-verification databases with automatic smart contracts to maintain continuous supply chain observation and evaluate data credibility. The framework integrates tamper-proof transaction tracking mechanisms with unified supply chain network connectivity for securing data transmission as a trust delivery method through unbreakable shared databases. The retail-industry case study demonstrated a 25% decrease in expenses stemming from agency elimination alongside enhanced flow management and better stock distribution. The system demonstrates its effectiveness through assessments of key performance indicators including transaction speed and data accuracy together with business cost efficiency. This part looks at implementation methods through training stakeholders in addition to transforming organizational policies which produce successful outcomes. Blockchain technology labs verify its capability to enhance supply chain management efficiency while showing realistic deployment methods. © 2025 IEEE.

Hypergraph Pattern Mining (HPM) aims to identify all the instances of user-interested subhypergraphs (patterns) in hypergraphs, which has been widely used in various applications. However, existing solutions either need significant enumeration overhead because they extend subhypergraphs at the granularity of vertices, or suffer from massive redundant computations because they often need to repeatedly fetch and process the same incident hyperedges for different vertices. This paper presents an overlap-centric system named OHMiner to efficiently support HPM. OHMiner proposes an overlap-centric execution model to determine the subhypergraphs isomorphism through computing and comparing overlaps among hyperedges using set operations. This model aims to efficiently handle the vertices that collectively share the same incident hyperedges. To automatically and precisely retrieve an arbitrary pattern’s overlapping semantics without performing redundant set computations, OHMiner further proposes a redundancy-free compiler, which constructs an Overlap Intersection Graph (OIG) for the pattern, optimizes the OIG, and generates an overlap-centric execution plan to guide the procedure of HPM. Moreover, OHMiner designs an overlap-centric parallel execution engine, which adopts an incremental overlap-pruned approach to fast validate candidates for HPM. Additionally, it proposes a degree-aware data store to support efficient generation of candidates. Through evaluating OHMiner on a broad range of real-world hypergraphs with various patterns, our experimental results show that OHMiner outperforms the state-of-the-art HPM system by 5.4×-22.2×. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

India is a country that encompasses a vast and diverse cultural and historical legacy, including numerous architecturally significant sculptures in temples. Analyzing and identifying entities in temple sculptures is a highly challenging and complex task. Digital archives with images, videos, books, interviews, and other resources can significantly accelerate iconographic research by building on past studies. This study explores image classification techniques applied to archives to enhance iconographic study. The findings contribute to the broader discourse on Indian art and culture, providing valuable insights into the intricate iconographic representations found in temple architecture.

In human–object interaction (HOI) detection task, ensuring that interactive pairs receive higher attention weights while reducing the weight of non-interaction pairs is imperative for enhancing HOI detection accuracy. Guiding attention learning is also a key aspect of existing transformer-based algorithms. To tackle this challenge, this study proposes a novel approach termed Interaction Confidence Score Learning Attention (ICSLA), which introduces weakening and augmentation operations into the original attention weight calculation and feature extraction processes. In ICSLA, feature learning is coupled with confidence score learning, simultaneously. Leveraging ICSLA, a new and universal decoder is devised, establishing a transformer-based one-stage HOI detection architecture. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in improving HOI detection accuracy, offering valuable insights for further optimization of attention mechanisms. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Blockchains, like Ethereum, depend on a distributed system of collaborative servers referred to as inspectors or mine workers to validate transactions and generate novel legal blocks. In today's electronic world, it is critical to secure financial supply chains (FSCs) from complex cyber-attacks. This study combines Quantized Random Security Generators (QRSGs) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve cybersecurity in FSC. QRSGs use quantum physics to produce random outcomes, which is critical for establishing safe cryptography credentials and resolving the flaws of regular predictable RSGs. This study found that the QRSG-based approach outperformed traditional RSG methods. The QRSG demonstrated strong entropy and uncertainty, transferring both NIST SP800-22 and Diehard examinations at much greater levels. The platform's real-time safety features were improved by the AI element's outstanding performance measures in identifying security breaches. More rapid decoding and encryption times, reduced delay, and increased resilience to brute-force, quantum, and prediction assaults were all demonstrated by the coupled QRSG and AI methods. This study emphasizes how crucial it is to use AI and QRSGs to safeguard FSCs. The combined platform provides a complete option to reduce cyber-attacks by offering strong cryptography security and real-time attack identification. These results demonstrate how QRSG and AI innovations can completely transform cybersecurity in the banking industry, safeguarding vital financial systems and guaranteeing the privacy and reliability of financial payments. © 2025 IEEE.

Crowdsensing has become a popular method of sensing data collection while facing the problem of protecting participants' location privacy. Existing location-privacy crowdsensing mechanisms focus on static tasks and participants without considering sensing tasks' time requirements and participants' mobility, which cannot achieve satisfactory collected data quality and task completion in crowdsensing with dynamic tasks and participants. Inspired by this, we proposed a location-preservation crowdsensing mechanism, FedSense, considering dynamic tasks and participants based on federated learning (FL) and reinforcement learning (RL). In FedSense, through RL's outstanding decision-making ability, participants select sensing tasks to perform by well-trained RL models without uploading location information to servers for task allocation. We propose an independent tasks selection environment that defines actions, states, and rewards of RL to enable FedSense to achieve satisfactory task completion and data quality while preserving location privacy. Besides, FedSense applies an asynchronous FL aggregation algorithm that reduces participants' network stabilization and device computing ability requirements. Analysis proves that participants' location information does not leave the local device during the model training and task selection process, effectively avoiding privacy leakage. Simulation shows that compared with existing location-preservation crowdsensing mechanisms, FedSense achieves the highest task completion and sensing accuracy for dynamic tasks and participants. © 2024 IEEE.
