Human food needs are increasing all the time. This condition is in line with the increasing world population and exacerbated by climate change. Agricultural products are one of the sources of food to meet food needs. The use of technology is one of the keys to success in increasing agricultural production. One of the technologies used in agricultural technology is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT in agricultural technology can be used to monitor soil and weather conditions to ensure that these conditions are in accordance with the needs of agricultural crops. The use of machine learning technology can be combined with IoT to help predict the types of crops that are suitable for planting based on soil and weather conditions. The results of the experiment show that the machine learning model can be used to predict the right types of plants to plant based on soil and weather conditions obtained through IoT. "Tree-based ensemble algorithms" (TEAs) are extensively employed for classification and regression problems. However, existing TEAs lag behind the trade-off between TEA interpretability and achieving cutting-edge accuracy when applied to real-time applications. This paper proposes a new TEA for bridging the gap between real-time applications and the trade-off between TEA interpretability and cutting-edge accuracy. The proposed algorithm is based on the SHapley Additive exPlanation (SHAP) value, which is one of the most advanced cooperative game solutions for quantifying each feature’s contribution to the model prediction. As a result, we call our proposed algorithm the SHapley additive explanation-based Random Forest algorithm (SHAPRFs). The proposed SHAPRFs compute the dominion of feature alliances using the SHAP value to determine the significance of each feature in the dataset. Following suit, the SHAPRFs divide the features into two subsets based on the importance of each feature. Then it employs the Roulette wheel selection algorithm to generate decision trees (DTs) in the forest. Five benchmark datasets are used to test the SHAPRFs algorithm. The experimental results show that the proposed SHAPRFs outperform three well-known and benchmark classifiers by a significant margin, namely, Breiman random forest (BRF), deep forest, and support vector machines (SVM). © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Low resolution image-face recognition system is one of the challenging aspects of face recognition models' development. From machine learning, deep learning, and into ensemble learning are implemented to develop face recognition models. Including mpdCNN that published by Mishra in a journal article. This mpdCNN already achieved 88.6% accuracy score on SCFace dataset while published. Based on literature review, ensemble learning model can be improved by modifying parallel layers. The purpose of this research is to improve mpdCNN's performance by implementing some modifications include adding parallel layers, alternating the fusion layers, expanding the layers, and adding residual connections. Some modifications were successfully improved mpdCNN's accuracy score. By adding parallel layers and residual connections into mpdCNN's architecture, the modified mpdCNN that proposed in this research achieved 92.33% accuracy score, measured by Rank-k evaluation metric. © 2025 IEEE.

Thalaseemia is a series of genetic hemolytic diseases brought on by defective hemoglobin synthesis. It is prevalent in many Asian, African, and Mediterranean nations. Four million Indians are Thalaseemia carriers, and more than 100,000 are actively combating the condition, according to the World Health Organization. It is specifically taken under investigation because cases of Thalassemia that have clinical, hematologic characteristics cannot be effectively separated from cases of sickle cell anemia and are misdiagnosed as such. The precise profiles of the genetic and pathophysiological mechanisms of patients with Thalassemia are not yet well defined, despite the fact that they are clinically treated identically. Even among people with the same genotype, there are differences in the severity of the clinical phenotype. The frequency of complications changes over time, both within and between individuals. Patients display a striking variation in severity, from a milder clinical course to severe transfusion dependency and progressive organ destruction. This study focuses on the creation of a discriminative model for Thalaseemia classification. In this study, the prediction of Thalassemia is modeled as a pattern classification issue, and the models are constructed using deep learning approaches. The hybrid CNN-Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) based Thalaseemia prediction model has demonstrated improved performance, according to the performance evaluation of these models. © 2025 IEEE.

This study examines the necessity of employing BERT2GPT for single-document summarization in the current age of escalating digital data. The primary focus of this work is on the abstractive technique, which tries to generate versatile summaries that surpass the primary sentences of the original content. This study employs two models, namely BERT and GPT -2, for the purpose of the summarization system. The paper introduces the BERT2GPT model, which merges the bidirectional characteristics of BERT with the generative powers of GPT. The findings indicate that the BERT2GPT method successfully catches significant information and linguistic nuances, hence enhancing the quality of the generated summaries. The corresponding average values for Rl, R2, and RL are 0.62, 0.56, and 0.60, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

Secure UPI specializes in developing an advanced fraud detection gadget the usage of the effective XGBoost device getting to know set of rules to create an advanced fraud identity device. Medical imaging abnormality detection is challenging, but deep learning approaches have shown promise. This paper reviews the current state of the art in deep learning approaches for detecting abnormalities in chest medical imaging. To discover the trends, opportunities, and challenges associated with this field, 18 studies were selected from Google Scholar based on their titles, abstracts, and contents for extensive review to answer two research questions. The study found that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Chest X-ray 14 dataset is the most used dataset for this task. Most research uses a single-modal approach, considering only image data as input, with X-ray being the more popular instrument. There are 8 out of 18 studies leverage the transfer learning approach, with ResN et50 being the most popular network. MobileNetV2 has demonstrated competitive results compared to more robust networks. Preprocessing techniques such as image enhancement and data augmentation are leveraged by 61.1 % of the reviewed studies and are shown to improve model performance. © 2023 IEEE.

In real life, many activities are performed sequentially. These activities must be carried out sequentially, such as the assembly process in the manufacturing production process. This series of activities cannot be reduced or added so that the main goal of the series of activities is achieved. Apart from that, there are also time series events that occur naturally, such as rainy and hot conditions in a certain area. The classification process of time series activities is very important to see the possibility of anomalies occurring. The significant development of machine learning models in recent years has made the process of classifying time series data increasingly researched. Several previous studies stated that deep learning models were more accurate in classifying time series data. In this paper, we will compare Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Transformer deep learning models in classifying time series data. Experimental results using the same public datasets for CNN and Transformer model show that the CNN model is more accurate than the Transformer model. The results of measuring accuracy using confusion matrix show that CNN has an accuracy of 92% and Transformer has an accuracy of 80%. © 2023 IEEE.

Document-level Relation Extraction (DocRE) aims to identify relationships between entity pairs within a document. However, most existing methods assume a uniform label distribution, resulting in suboptimal performance on real-world, imbalanced datasets. To tackle this challenge, we propose a novel data augmentation approach using generative models to enhance data from the embedding space. Our method leverages the Variational Autoencoder (VAE) architecture to capture all relation-wise distributions formed by entity pair representations and augment data for underrepresented relations. To better capture the multi-label nature of DocRE, we parameterize the VAE's latent space with a Diffusion Model. Additionally, we introduce a hierarchical training framework to integrate the proposed VAE-based augmentation module into DocRE systems. Experiments on two benchmark datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art models, effectively addressing the long-tail distribution problem in DocRE. Global trading is undergoing significant changes, necessitating modifications to the trading strategies. This study presents a newly developed cloud-based trading strategy that uses Amazon Web Services (AWS), machine learning (ML), and data science to automate trading tasks. The study begins by creating a machine learning trading strategy using a customized deep neural network (DNN). The strategy was then tested using a trading station before deployment on a cloud machine. The execution of the strategy resulted in a total profit of 42.74526 USD, with a test accuracy score of 87.45% and a training accuracy score of 89.15% over 6047 epochs. The roadmap provides a step-by-step overview of the entire process from strategy development to execution. In addition, this study offers insights into related issues and solutions that can enhance the effectiveness of trading strategies. Overall, this study contributes significantly to the field of cloud-based trading strategies and opens avenues for future research. © 2013 IEEE.
