Hybrid RNN Based Text Classification Model for Unstructured data

The volume of social media posts is on the rise as the number of social media users expands. It is imperative that these data be analyzed using cutting-edge algorithms. This goal is handled by the many techniques used in text categorization. There are a variety of text categorization techniques available, ranging from machine learning to deep learning. Numerical crunching has become easier with less processing time since the emergence of high-end computer facilities. This has led to the development of sophisticated network architectures that can be trained to achieve higher precision and recall. The performance of neural network models which was evaluated by the F1 score is affected by cumulative performance in precision and recall. The current study intends to analyze and compare the performance of the neural network proposed, A Hybrid RNN model that has two layers of BiLSTM and two layers of GRU to that of previous hybrid models. GloVE dataset is used to train the models and their accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score are used to assess performance. Except for the RNN + GRU model, the RNN + BILSTM + GRU model has a precision of 0.767, a recall of 0.759, and an F1-score of 0.7585. This hybrid model outperforms the others. © The Author(s) 2024.

The Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) introduced Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) for vehicular communications. In the standard, C-V2X Mode 4 is defined for the distributed resource selection. Subsequently, in 3GPP Release 16, NR-V2X is introduced with Mode 1 and Mode 2 for vehicular communications. Likewise C-V2X Mode 4, NR-V2X Mode 2 is used for decentralized resource scheduling. The vehicles select the resources based on their local observations by utilizing the Semi-persistent Scheduling (SPS). Since, the vehicles select the resources based on the local observation, sensing nature of SPS is challenged by the hidden node problem that lead to resource conflict. To resolve the contention, 3GPP also introduced the Physical Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH) to assist the distributive resource scheduling based on the receiver feedback. However, this incurred a signaling overhead. In this work, federated learning is exploited for distributive training via offline method and distributive multi-agent-based resource scheduling is performed following the principles of NR-V2X Mode 2. Distributed training favors the model accuracy by accommodating the varying affect of the environment due to the high mobile dynamics. Simulation is conducted by integrating SUMO in conjunction with 3GPP NR-V2X standard. Performance results demonstrate a substantial improvement compared to other deep learning methods, where centralized training and random resource selection procedures are employed. This research marks a significant stride towards efficient and conflict-resilient resource allocation in vehicular communications. © 2014 IEEE.

Every employee in the company who deals with data needs to have clean, noise-free data. Since data warehouses store and update enormous amounts of data from several sources, there is a potential that some of those references may contain inaccurate data. Due to the noise, inefficacy, and poor characterization of the vast amount of accessible data, as well as the ensuing insensitivity and inefficiencies of human data cleaning and labeling, the presentation of the data has become ambiguous, and the assessment of the information has become difficult. A hole in the creation of a better data analysis method was identified. This helped to guide the creation of a Python script for automatically cleaning and labeling data. The first step in the strategy used in this study to accomplish its goals and objectives was to obtain a financial dataset from the top database, "Kaggle". Create a machine learning (ML) approach in Python that intends to automate the financial dataset cleaning. This covers ingesting data, addressing incomplete data, addressing anomalies, one-hot wrapping and label encoding, extracting date and time values, and data normalization. Implementing an unsupervised machine learning method that attempts to automate financial dataset labeling (k-means). Using the method includes the elbow principle, k-means clustering, data modeling of "age" versus "arrival," dimensionality reductions, computer vision, and dataset categorizing using the groupings. An empirical assessment of the cleaned and labeled automated trading dataset utilizing a comparison of the cleaned dataset before and after PCA adoption. The results show that the developed ML technique not only improved the performance of the audit data used in this study, but also classified the data after cleaning it and removing the unpleasant section and incomplete data, as shown by the k-means segmentation result and grouping by PCA. © 2023 Slovene Society Informatika. The medical community has more concern on lung cancer *** experts’physical segmentation of lung cancers is time-consuming and needs to be *** research study’s objective is to diagnose lung tumors at an early stage to extend the life of humans using deep learning ***-Aided Diagnostic(CAD)system aids in the diagnosis and shortens the time necessary to detect the tumor *** application of Deep Neural Networks(DNN)has also been exhibited as an excellent and effective method in classification and segmentation *** research aims to separate lung cancers from images of Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)with threshold *** Honey hook process categorizes lung cancer based on characteristics retrieved using several *** this principle,the work presents a solution for image compression utilizing a Deep Wave Auto-Encoder(DWAE).The combination of the two approaches significantly reduces the overall size of the feature set required for any future classification process performed using *** proposed DWAE-DNN image classifier is applied to a lung imaging dataset with Radial Basis Function(RBF)*** study reported promising results with an accuracy of 97.34%,whereas using the Decision Tree(DT)classifier has an accuracy of 94.24%.The proposed approach(DWAE-DNN)is found to classify the images with an accuracy of 98.67%,either as malignant or normal *** contrast to the accuracy requirements,the work also uses the benchmark standards like specificity,sensitivity,and precision to evaluate the efficiency of the *** is found from an investigation that the DT classifier provides the maximum performance in the DWAE-DNN depending on the network’s performance on image testing,as shown by the data acquired by the categorizers themselves.

Personalized federated learning(PFL) aims to train customized models for individual clients in a decentralized setting, with the account of non-independent and identically distributed data across clients. However, most PFL methods adopt uniform classification layers for diverse clients and give rise to error-prone predictions, due to the task heterogeneity notably prominent in decentralized graph data scenarios. Although some PFL solutions setup client-specific classification layers for each client and optimize them only locally, they are corrupted with limited local training data. We propose an innovative solution called federated parameter decoupling and node augmentation(Fed PANo) to address these problems and to achieve personalized federated few-shot node classification, which is a prevalent and challenging but unexplored topic. Specifically, Fed PANo first separates the local model into the GNN and classifier to handle unique client-specific task variations. The GNN is trained through federated learning to capture shared knowledge of graph nodes across clients, while the classifier is custom-designed and trained individually for each client. Additionally, a generic classifier shared among clients is adopted to encourage the GNN's grasp of shared information. Then Fed PANo further proposes the node generator along with its local and collaborative training strategies to deal with the node scarcity of clients. Extensive experimental results on benchmark datasets confirm that Fed PANo outperforms eight competitive baselines across different settings.

In the digital age, data is a valuable commodity, and data marketplaces offer lucrative opportunities for data owners to monetize their private data. However, data privacy is a significant concern, and differential privacy has become a popular solution to address this issue. Private data trading systems (PDQS) facilitate the trade of private data by determining which data owners to purchase data from, the amount of privacy purchased, and providing specific aggregation statistics while protecting the privacy of data owners. However, existing PDQS with separated procurement and query processes are prone to over-perturbation of private data and lack trustworthiness. To address this issue, this paper proposes a framework for PDQS with an integrated procurement and query process to avoid excessive perturbation of private data. We also present two instances of this framework, one based on a greedy approach and another based on a neural network. Our experimental results show that both of our mechanisms outperformed the separately conducted procurement and query mechanism under the same budget regarding accuracy. © 2023 The Authors.

Urban Green Space (UGS) plays a vital role in maintaining the balance of urban ecosystems. In Yogyakarta City, urban development and an increase in population accompanied by a decrease and insufficiency in the proportion of UGS correlate with rising urban temperatures. Monitoring the availability of UGS can serve as a foundation for decision-making in managing the city's UGS. With advancements in technology and computing in the field of computer Vision (CV), it's possible to recognize UGS from the geometric patterns of satellite images. This study proposes a vegetation segmentation method using satellite images and a Deep Learning (DL) method with the U-Net architecture to estimate the availability of UGS. Evaluation results show that the image dataset without preprocessing with the Red Green Blue (RGB) color channel gives an average Intersection over Union (IoU) of 80.74%. These results are better than data that underwent grayscaling and contrast stretching preprocessing. Based on a case study conducted in three sub-districts in the Yogyakarta region, the constructed U-Net model gave an average IoU evaluation of 60.88%. These results demonstrate the model's capability to provide a reference in calculating the UGS area at the sub-district level, which can then be utilized by the Yogyakarta City government to analyze the availability of UGS more efficiently. With this analysis, the government can make strategic decisions to manage UGS and create a sustainable urban environment. © 2023 IEEE.

This study investigates the impact of digital emotional intelligence (DEI) on the achievement needs of Generation Z in Jakarta, with a focus on the interplay between digital self-awareness and digital relationship management. Utilizing a sample of 280 individuals, the method involves structural equation modelling to explore how digital relationship management mediates the relationship between digital self-awareness and the need for achievement. The objective is to highlight the necessity of integrating DEI into educational frameworks to support lifelong learning and personal development, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4). Results reveal a significant positive correlation, suggesting that effective digital relationship management enhances achievement motivations by fostering better self-regulation and interpersonal interactions in digital environments. In conclusion, this research contributes to understanding DEI's role in educational and organizational settings, emphasizing its importance in the digital age. © 2024 IEEE.

Stroke is one dangerous illness that kills people. Stroke is so called because of the way it strikes people down. Across the globe, it is among the main causes of mortality and disability. It requires early identification and precise measures to be taken in order to prevent stroke and further damages to the brain and other parts of body. Our study investigates the use of machine learning techniques that includes Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Free Classifier, Random Forest Classifier, Naive Bares and multiple Boosting Classifiers. The 'Healthcare dataset Stroke data' is the dataset used, which is preprocessed and then trained upon by Ml. models. For Random Forest Classifier, the maximum accuracy observed was 94.91%, and upon Hyper parameter Tuning- there was rise in accuracy to 95.64%, Evaluation criteria like F1-score, precision, and recall provides additional evidence for the effectiveness of these models: Further in order to explain how each feature contributes differently to each prediction we have made use of two popular techniques for XAT, LIME and SHAP. LIVE and SHIP provides local, interpretable explanations and global explanations respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

Reversible data Hiding in Shared Images Based on Syndrome Decoding and Homomorphism

Reversible data Hiding in Encrypted Images (RDHEI) has drawn increasing concern in multimedia cloud computing scenarios. It embeds secret message into the encrypted carrier while preserving the confidentiality of the image. However, most RDHEI schemes have only one hider and one image carrier which are not efficient for the distributed system with multiple participants. Moreover, if the stego-image is lost, the cover image and the embedded data cannot be restored. To solve above issues, this paper proposes Reversible data Hiding in Shared Images based on syndrome decoding and homomorphism (RDHSI). In RDHSI, the cover image and secret data are distributed using secret sharing. Multiple data hiders embed shared data into the shared images based on the Syndrome Decoding of Hamming codes and the additive homomorphism of the polynomial. On the receiver side, the lossless cover image and secret data are obtained. The reversibility and privacy preserving of the cover image, the complete extraction of secret data, and the fault-tolerance of the proposed schemes are achieved. The experimental results show that PSNR of the marked image is above 54 dB at the embedding rate of 0.43 bpp. In order to improve the payload of secret data, the Modified RDHSI is further proposed. Generally, the proposed schemes are secure, effective and fault-tolerant. © 2013 IEEE.
