Energy efficient resource utilization and load balancing in virtual machines using prediction algorithms

In recent years due to increase in the number of customers and organizations utilize cloud applications for personal and professionalization become greater. As a result of this increase in utilizing the Cloud services, Cloud data centers found to be huge consumption with boundless energy and harmful materials into the environment. The Primary goal of fully virtual machines is to minimize consumption of boundless energy utilization and providing uttermost resources. Balancing the loads on the servers has become a challenging task for the cloud service provider. Load balancing on servers helps to improve the performance of the virtual machines and to minimize energy and processing time in cloud systems. Here we discuss about various load balance r serves as the single and distributes incoming traffic across multiple targets. Reducing the consumption for the data center industries, power supply capacity has more increased and demand will be continued. With an aim to reduce and bring down active server infrastructure burdens. All about, this includes various challenges are taken care of by the environment. Behavior approaches of systems and consumers are not defined clearly. We present a novel resource optimization framework to discover jobs with minimum utilization. This progress ground work encircle boundless energy utilization. © 2023

Document-level Relation Extraction (DocRE) aims to identify relationships between entity pairs within a document. However, most existing methods assume a uniform label distribution, resulting in suboptimal performance on real-world, imbalanced datasets. To tackle this challenge, we propose a novel data augmentation approach using generative models to enhance data from the embedding space. Our method leverages the Variational Autoencoder (VAE) architecture to capture all relation-wise distributions formed by entity pair representations and augment data for underrepresented relations. To better capture the multi-label nature of DocRE, we parameterize the VAE's latent space with a Diffusion Model. Additionally, we introduce a hierarchical training framework to integrate the proposed VAE-based augmentation module into DocRE systems. Experiments on two benchmark datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art models, effectively addressing the long-tail distribution problem in DocRE. The main objective of this project is to create a user-friendly intelligent chatbot for Medical guidance and support. This application has been classified into two different modes based on user preference, those are Online and Offline modes of interaction. In the Online mode of interaction, there is no need for any automation, there will be a real person at the other end answering user queries. Users can even ask for untrained data and will receive instant replies. This application is similar to a normal chat application, but the main disadvantage is that a real person is needed at the other end at all times. In the Offline mode of conversation which is entirely automated the user will be performing an interaction with the chatbot itself. The chatbot must consist of data sets and trained data collection, in this process there is no need for any real person, the chatbot itself will reply instantly based on the trained data. The chatbot will be more accurate when a large number of data is trained. This application is compatible with working in various browsers and varied networks. The Admin of the application plays a significant role. Admin can access all the given functions and is responsible for data training. data training plays a vital role in this application, the trained data will be used by the chatbot while answering user queries i.e. Offline mode. This chatbot application can be accessed by several users at the same time, where IP address plays the main role. The main function of this application is that user can post their corresponding queries and the application will be providing relevant information based on queries. The Latest Modern chatbots are used in applications where simple interaction is needed, for example, service and marketing technology to provide answers such as products, services, and consultancy. If the customer's queries don't match with the trained data sets, the customer will be escalated to manual interaction i.e. Online mode. © 2024 IE

Classification of Indonesian crops is a critical task in developing farming and getting more understanding of agriculture. However, there is no clear task in classifying types of crops in Indonesia. Transfer learning has been used successfully in a variety of image classification applications. Thus, in this paper, we collected images of Indonesian crops from the internet randomly and proposed a classification by using transfer learning of deep learning with four pre-trained models: EffficientNetB0, ResNet18, VGG19, and AlexNet. In the experiment, augmentation techniques such as random horizontal flip, random vertical flip, and random affine were utilized to prevent the network from overfitting. The result found that EfficientNet-B0 outperformed other models with an accuracy of 82.55. Then, the model struggled to distinguish between crops in the same family. According to the results, although transfer learning can work well to classify images of Indonesian agricultural crops, some improvements are still required to address existing issues. © 2023 The Authors. Many individuals now trade online utilizing trading software in the digital world. Binomo is one of Indonesia's most popular trading platforms. This is because some influencers made several promises to Binomo customers. Since many customers were deceived, this case became quite popular. This study was executed to see how Indonesians felt about the Binomo application after the case went viral. The solution taken was in the form of sentiment analysis because there had been no previous research on sentiment analysis that discussed the Binomo case. The data was scanned using Netlytic tools, a cloud-based text and social network analyzer capable of identifying any talks on social media sites such as Twitter. The sentiment analysis of Binomo trading tweets by using the Multi-Perspective Question Answering lexicon utilized the KNIME tool. But unfortunately, the accuracy of sentiment analysis results is low. Furthermore, the Support Vector Machine technique is also being conducted. The Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency method is applied to perform feature extraction whilst the chi-square approach is utilized to identify features that are thought to be useful for inclusion in the classification process and to exclude features that are irrelevant to the target class. The obtained accuracy is 86%. The study proposes that words from the algorithm's outputs can be utilized to improve the quality of sentiment analysis using the lexicon. As an outcome of the algorithm, positive and negative terms are added to the lexicon, increasing the accuracy of sentiment analysis using the new vocabulary from 58.984% to 71.146%. © 2023 IEEE.

An accurate estimation of future stock prices can help investors maximize their profits. The current advancements in the area of artificial intelligence (AI) have proven prevalent in the financial sector. Besides, stock market prediction is difficult owing to the considerable volatility and unpredictability induced by numerous factors. Recent approaches have considered fundamental, technical, or macroeconomic variables to find hidden complex patterns in financial data. At the macro level, there exists a spillover effect between stock pairs that can explain the variance present in the data and boost the prediction performance. To address this interconnectedness defined by intrasector stocks, we propose a hybrid relational approach to predict the future price of stocks in the American, Indian, and Korean economies. We collected market data of large-, mid-, and small-capitalization peer companies in the same industry as the target firm, considering them as relational features. To ensure efficient feature selection, we have utilized a data-driven approach, i.e., random forest feature permutation (RF2P), to remove noise and instability. A hybrid prediction module consisting of temporal convolution and linear model (TCLM) is proposed that considers irregularities and linear trend components of the financial data. We found that RF2P-TCLM gave the superior performance. To demonstrate the real-world applicability of our approach in terms of profitability, we created a trading method based on the predicted results. This technique generates a higher profit than the existing approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

Simultaneously transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surface (STAR-RIS) can expand the coverage of mobile edge computing (MEC) services by reflecting and transmitting signals simultaneously, enabling full-space coverage. The orientation of the STAR-RIS plays a crucial role in optimizing the gain of received and transmitted signals, and a rotatable STAR-RIS offers potential enhancement for MEC systems. This article investigates a rotatable STAR-RIS-assisted MEC system, operated under three protocols, namely energy splitting (ES), mode switching, and time switching. The goal is to minimize energy consumption for multiple moving user devices (UDs) through the joint optimization of STAR-RIS configurations, orientation, computation resource allocation, transmission power, and task offloading strategies. Considering the mobility of UDs, we model the original optimization problem as a sequential decision-making process across multiple time slots. The high-dimensional, highly coupled, and nonlinear nature makes it a challenging nonconvex decision-making problem for traditional optimization algorithms. Therefore, a deep reinforcement learning (DRL) approach is employed, specifically utilizing soft actor-critic algorithm to train the DRL model. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the benchmarks in both convergence speed and energy efficiency, while reducing energy consumption by up to 52.7% compared to the fixed STAR-RIS scheme. Among three operating protocols, the ES yields the best performance. © 2014 IEEE.

Defragmentation can potentially be employed as a tactic by perpetrators to conceal, misrepresent, or eliminate digital evidence. This study explores the effects of minor defragmentation, a potential method to conceal digital evidence, on recovering file system data in digital forensics. Our investigation sought to determine the influence of minor defragmentation on the effectiveness of data recovery and to identify methods that can augment the success rate post-defragmentation. We limited the scope of this study to defragmentation in Hard Disk Drives (HDDs), solid-state drives (SSDs), and USB drives. A mixed-method approach employs a literature review, case studies, and controlled experiments. Comparative analysis was used as the main data analysis technique to investigate its impact. Preliminary findings suggest that minor defragmentation hampers data recovery;however, certain strategies can augment success rates. These results can significantly influence the development of data recovery policies, particularly those of digital forensic analysts and law enforcement. The primary objective of this study is to bolster the efficiency and dependability of file system data recovery post-defragmentation while upholding ethical and legal standards. © 2023 IEEE.
