Entity disambiguation based on entity-link is a technique which constructs the mappings between entity reference items appearing in the short text and target entity in knowledge base respectively. In this paper we propose an entity disambiguation method based on Graph Attention Networks for semi-structured knowledge base data. First, a global Knowledge Graph is constructed from the semi-structured knowledge base, and the entity reference items are embedded by Bert pre-trained model meanwhile. Next, Graph Attention Networks which leverages masked self-attention layers is applyed on candidate entity nodes of global Knowledge Graph to fetch a vector of node level. Furtherly, we compute similarity scores rank between the entity reference items and the candidate entity to complete the task of entity disambiguation. The experimental results on CCKS2019 dataset achieve state-of-the-art. © 2022 IEEE

To deeply excavate the information contained in user data and better alleviate cold start problem, we propose KGCN++, a user information enhanced knowledge graph convolutional networks model for recommender system, which simulates nerves' influence diffusion of information of user and items in a unified framework. The model combines user information and user-item interaction information into a user knowledge graph, which advances KGCN by injecting high-order user potential information reflected in user graph and high-order influence of items reflected in item knowledge graph. In addition, we have designed the influence factors of different items on users, which are used to characterize the weight of items on the user's information dissemination, so as to distinguish users with different information. Through extensive experiments on real-world datasets, we demonstrate that KGCN++ achieves substantial gains in a variety of ecenarios, including movie and book recommendation, better performance compared to the other methods. © 2022 IEEE

Knowledge distillation (KD) has recently gained great success in the field of object detection. By transferring the knowledge of the spatial or channel domain from the teacher model to the student model, it allows for a more compact representation with minimal performance loss. Despite this progress, existing KD methods typically treat knowledge from spatial or channel domains independently, ignoring the exploitation of the mutual relationship between these domains. In this work, we first explore the connection between spatial and channel domains and find there exists a strong correlation between them, i.e. the salient channels tend to contain significant object regions in the spatial domain. Motivated by this observation, we propose DCSF-KD, a novel Dynamic Channel-wise Spatial Feature Knowledge Distillation framework for object detection by fully exploiting both spatial and channel knowledge. Specifically, we introduce channel-wise spatial feature distillation and global channel attention distillation, using information from both domains to improve the accuracy of the student network. Experiments demonstrate that our DCSF-KD outperforms existing detection methods on both homogeneous and heterogeneous teacher-student network pairs. For example, when using the MaskRCNN-Swin detector as the teacher, and based on RetinaNet and FCOS with ResNet-50 on MS COCO, our DCSF-KD can achieve 41.9% and 44.1% mAP, respectively. © 2025, Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (***). Route optimization is a key core technology to optimize network traffic distribution, achieve network load balancing, and improve network performance. Traditional distributed networks widely run shortest-path based routing protocols, and the path of traffic is determined by the link weights of the distributed network, so routing optimization methods are usually optimized around the link weights of the network. Heuristics-based link weight optimization methods are widely used. However, heuristic methods rely on manually set rules, which are poorly generalized and cannot adapt well to dynamically changing traffic demands. Compared to heuristics, deep reinforcement learning (DRL) has the advantage of extracting more accurate feature representations in addition to its ability to handle high-dimensional state and action spaces. We propose a network link weight optimization method based on anti-symmetric deep graph networks (A-DGN) and reinforcement learning using a novel GNN framework anti-symmetric deep graph networks, where link weights are adjusted to reduce the network link utilization with the optimization objective of minimizing the maximum link utilization in the network. Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves significant performance improvements in the link weight optimization problem in four real-world network topology scenarios.

Edge detection is a preprocessing step in image processing that directly affects the effectiveness of subsequent image processing. However, real-time image preprocessing is challenging to achieve with the increased number and quality of images. Therefore, this paper studies a quantum color image spatial edge detection algorithm and uses the International Business Machines Quantum (IBM Q) quantum simulation platform to simulate and verify the designed quantum circuit. First, the quantum adder, quantum subtractor, quantum maximum value calculation module, and quantum threshold operation module are optimized. Then, based on these modules, a new quantum edge detection algorithm is designed. Finally, the analysis shows that compared with existing related work, the algorithm in this paper has lower circuit complexity and fewer qubits, reducing the circuit complexity from $$O(n^{2}+q^{3})$$ to O(q). Finally, the proposed algorithm is simulated on the IBM Q quantum simulator, which can effectively detect the edge information of quantum color images.

As the material basis for all life activities, proteins play a crucial role in performing life activities. Most real-life proteins perform various functions in the form of protein complexes, so it is essential for understanding of life activities to accurately identify protein complexes. Most of the existing approaches learn protein interactions directly from protein topology,ignoring the biological characteristics of the actual proteins. Nevertheless, actual protein complexes are usually composed of protein cores and protein attachments. In this study, a new MP-DE algorithm is designed from the core-attachment structure to generate protein complex cores using Markov clustering, while searching for attached proteins in the second-order neighborhood of core protein complexes based on differential evolution(DE) algorithm. The experimental results show that the proposed method has high detection accuracy and efficiency on the current mainstream protein-protein interaction(PPI) database.

The identification of drug-protein interactions(DTIs) is a critical step in drug development and ***,detecting these interactions using scientific methods presents a formidable *** models often struggle to extract relevant information from drug-protein sequences,and they fail to consider pre-existing interactions between ***,we introduce a deep learning model,DPAG,based on attention mechanisms and graph neural networks,which overcomes these *** leverages information from both the drug and protein sequences,as well as the association between drug-protein pairs,to predict *** conducted multiple experiments to evaluate the performance of the model in benchmark datasets,and the results showed that DPAG achieved excellent performance in terms of AUC,AUPR,precision,and *** findings suggest that DPAG holds significant potential as a promising tool for predicting DTIs in drug development and *** is available at https://***/veres se/DPAG.

intelligent supply line surveillance is critical for modern smart grids (SGs). Smart sensors and gateway nodes are strategically deployed along supply lines to achieve intelligent surveillance. They collect data continuously and transmit it to the control centre in real-time. It enables real-time monitoring, fault detection, and efficient energy management across distribution networks. This advanced surveillance system ensures continuous monitoring of supply lines, detecting anomalies, and optimizing operations to maintain the stability and reliability of the SG. However, the reliance of all participating nodes on public communication channels to transmit supply line surveillance data exposes these systems to critical cyber attacks. These cyber attacks include impersonation, physical tampering, ephemeral secret leakage (ESL), and desynchronization attacks. To address these issues, existing key-exchange protocols often fail to ensure robust security while imposing high computation and communication overheads, limiting their practicality for resource-constrained environments. Therefore, we propose a secure and efficient key exchange and tamper-resistant authentication protocol using elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) and physical unclonable functions (PUFs). The PUF mechanism provides robust resistance against physical tampering and cloning attacks, ensuring enhanced physical security for supply line devices. We validate the security robustness of the devised protocol using the random or real (ROR) model. Furthermore, informal security analysis demonstrates the protocol’s robustness in rigorously resisting various attacks, including physical tampering, impersonation, ESL and desynchronization. Moreover, we determine the performance evaluation that reveals the protocol’s superior efficiency compared to competing protocols, achieving significant reductions of 28.64% in computation overhead and 9.96% in communication overhead. © 2014 IEEE.

The sparse interactions between users and items have aggravated the difficulty of their representations in recommender systems. Existing methods leverage tags to alleviate the sparsity problem but ignore prevalent logical relations among items and tags (e.g., membership, hierarchy, and exclusion), which can be leveraged to enhance the accuracy of modeling user preferences and conducting recommendations. To this end, we propose to extract logical relations among item tags from existing tag taxonomies and exploit the individual strengths of the Poincaré and the Lorentz models in hyperbolic space for logical relation modeling towards enhanced recommendations. Moreover, we find that the logical relations directly extracted from existing tag taxonomies can be inaccurate and coarse. Therefore, we further devise innovative consistency-based and granularity-based weighting mechanisms based on user behavior patterns for data-driven logical relation mining that can be jointly optimized along with recommendations in an end-to-end fashion. Extensive experiments on four real-world benchmark datasets show drastic performance gains brought by our proposed framework, which constantly achieves an average of 8.25% improvement over state-of-the-art competitors regarding both Recall and NDCG metrics. Insightful case studies further demonstrate that our automatically refined logical relations are highly accurate and interpretable. © 2024 IEEE.

Stable learning aims to learn a model that generalizes well to arbitrary unseen target domain by leveraging a single source domain. Recent advances in stable learning have focused on balancing the distribution of confounders for each feature to eliminate spurious correlations. However, previous studies treat all features equally without considering the difficulties of confounder balancing associated with different features, and regard irrelevant features as confounders, deteriorating generalization performance. To tackle these issues, this article proposes a novel triplex learning (TriL) based stable learning algorithm, which performs sample reweighting, causal feature selection, and representation learning to remove spurious correlations. Specifically, first, TriL adaptively assigns weights to the confounder balancing term of each feature in accordance with the difficulties of confounder balancing, and aligns the confounder distribution of each feature by learning a group of sample weights. Second, TriL integrates the sample weights into a weighted cross-entropy model to compute causal effects of features for excluding irrelevant features from the confounder set. Finally, TriL relearns a set of sample weights and uses them to guide a new supervised dual-autoencoder containing two classifiers to learn feature representations. TriL forces the results of two classifiers to remain consistent for removing spurious correlations by using a cross-classifier consistency regularization. Extensive experiments on synthetic and two real-world datasets show the superiority of TriL compared with seven methods. © 2024 IEEE.
