We advanced an emerging federated learning technology in city intelligentization for tackling a real challenge-to learn damaged objects in aerial ***-learning system was integrated with the fuzzy broad learning system to further develop the theory of federated *** the mixed picture set of aerial video segmentation and the 3D-reconstructed mixed-reality data were employed in the performance of the broad federated meta-learning *** study results indicated that the object classification accuracy is up to 90%and the average time cost in damage detection is only 0.277 ***,the broad federated meta-learning system is efficient and effective in detecting damaged objects in aerial videos.

Recent progress regarding the use of language models (LMs) as knowledge bases (KBs) has shown that language models can act as structured knowledge bases for storing relational facts. However, most existing works only considered the LM-as-KB paradigm in a static setting, which ignores the analysis of temporal dynamics of world knowledge. Furthermore, a basic function of KBs, i.e., the ability to store conflicting information (i.e., 1-N, N-1 and N-M relations), is underexplored. In this paper, we formulate two practical requirements for treating LMs as temporal KBs: (i) the capacity to store temporally-scoped knowledge that contains conflicting information and (ii) the ability to use stored knowledge for temporally-scoped knowledge queries. We introduce a new dataset called LAMA-TK which is aimed at probing temporally-scoped knowledge, and investigate the two above requirements to explore the LM-as-KB paradigm in the temporal domain. On the one hand, experiments show that LMs can memorize millions of temporally-scoped facts with relatively high accuracy and transfer stored knowledge to temporal knowledge queries, thereby expanding the LM-as-KB paradigm to the temporal domain. On the other hand, we show that memorizing conflicting information, which has been neglected by previous works, is still challenging for LMs and hinders the memorization of other unrelated one-to-one relationships. © 2022 Association for Computational Linguistics.

Multi-hop reasoning has been widely studied for its important application values in the domain of intelligent search and question answering. Real-world applications are often dominated by natural language input, and it is difficult to directly model the relation semantics in natural language to fit the multi-hop reasoning model. In addition, the extremely large scale and complex structure of knowledge graphs increase the challenge. We propose a natural language and knowledge graph fusion model (NLKGF) for multi-hop reasoning. NLKGF embeds knowledge graph by fusing natural language semantics during the graph propagation process and adds a relation attention mechanism to enable entity representations to perceive the contribution of different relations. A relation path encoder is designed to encode the relation path by an improved recurrent neural network, the reasoning entity is obtained by calculating the correlation score with the natural language. We tested the performance of the NLKGF model on two datasets requiring multi-hop reasoning. The experimental results show that NLKGF beats advanced benchmark models in multi-hop reasoning tasks, which proves superiority of our model. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

As the largest source of technical information around the world, patents are regarded as an essential crystallization and carrier of knowledge and technological innovation. Patent transformation is conducive not only to enhancing economic efficiency, but also to improving productivity and the rational utilization of resources. There is an imbalance between high patent ownership and low transformation rates. We try to predict the occurrence of transformation events from the patent assignment. However, there are some challenges in predicting patent transformation: (1) how to capture transformation features of patents, especially combined with the transfer time factor. (2) how to predict patent transfer time effectively. To address these challenges, a Patent Transfer Time Forecasting Model (PTTFM) is proposed. The model includes: (1) extraction of time-varying features of patents. (2) the patent transfer time is forecast using a Neural Temporal Point Process. By testing the model on patents under different classifications, the experimental results are obtained to show that the proposed model is applicable to predict the timing of patent assignment within a certain time frame, especially one month. Our work may facilitate patent transformation while interpretability is ensured for transformation events. © 2023 IEEE.

The scale of real-world graphs is constantly growing. To deal with large-scale graphs, distributed graph processing has attracted much research efforts. Existing distributed graph processing systems are commonly built on traditional TCP/IP communication stack, which leads to network bottleneck because of low bandwidth and heavy kernel stack operations. Meanwhile, in real power-law graphs, the average number of mirror vertices after graph partitioning is very large, resulting in significant communication overhead among nodes. The emerging high-performance Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) network has the features of low latency, high bandwidth, and low CPU overhead, which brings new opportunities for distributed graph processing systems. Existing RDMA-assisted graph processing systems focus on synchronous execution, which imposes barriers between consecutive iterations. Synchronous execution transfers bulk data among nodes and thus only needs a small number of network transfers. However, synchronous execution is usually less efficient than asynchronous execution because of bulk synchronization. Asynchronous execution accelerates graph processing by eliminating barriers, which in turn requires to transfer a large amount of small size data. In this paper, we propose RGraph, an RDMA-assisted asynchronous distributed graph processing system. RGraph distributes edges into two parts to isolate master and mirror vertices. RGraph exploits the asymmetry of RDMA to accelerate the one-to-many communication between master and mirror vertices. We implement RGraph on top of PowerGraph and conduct comprehensive experiments with large-scale real graphs to evaluate its performance. Results show that compared to existing designs, RGraph reduces the execution time by up to 81%. © 2021 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

Semantic reasoning techniques based on knowledge graphs have been widely studied since they were proposed. Previous studies are mostly based on closed-world assumptions, which cannot reason about unknown facts. To this end, we propose the Two-Stage Temporal Reasoning Model (TSTR) for reasoning about future facts. In the first stage, probability of future facts occurring is reasoned using repeated information in history. In the second stage, the semantics of the neighborhood nodes are aggregated using the structural encoder and the temporal information is captured using the temporal encoder. The predicted probabilities are obtained by the decoder. Finally, the candidate entity probabilities of the two-stage reasoning are weighted to achieve the prediction of the two-stage fusion. We tested the performance of the TSTR on public datasets and the results demonstrated the effectiveness of the TSTR. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Peritoneal metastasis occurs when cancer cells spread from the primary tumor to the peritoneum, leading to morphological alterations that significantly impact patient survival. The specific changes across multiple peritoneal sites can effectively indicate a patient's risk level and prognosis. However, the considerable variation in peritoneal shape, size, and location poses significant challenges for feature extraction and prognostic analysis. Traditional multi-instance learning approaches typically fuse instance features extracted by the backbone network at the final stage, but their lack of intermediate interaction limits the ability to capture both common and distinct features. To address this limitation, we propose a Multi-Stage BiDirectional Cross-Attention framework (MSBDCA). Our approach enhances feature extraction and prognostic analysis by facilitating interaction among different peritoneal instances and incorporating clinical information. Experimental comparisons with five baseline models demonstrate our method's superiority, achieving improvements of 8.7% in Area Under Curve (AUC) and 5.9% in Concordance Index (C_index). These results suggest a promising direction for survival and prognostic analysis using peritoneal lesions. Our code is available at https://***/HaoshenLi/MSBDCA. © 2025 IEEE.

With the popularity of short video platforms, the number of single-view videos has increased significantly. Existing NeRF-based methods can reconstruct dynamic scenes in a single-view setting, but slow rendering speed and low rendering quality limit their practical applications. To address these challenges, we propose a fast single-view scenes reconstruction framework based on 3D Gaussian Splatting. Our method uses point clouds obtained with depth priors as the Gaussian initialization and introduces learnable parametric functions to model the time-dependent deformation of Gaussians. The explicit deformation modeling for Gaussians significantly reduces training and rendering time. Furthermore, to improve the rendering quality of challenging areas, we adopt an adaptive sampling strategy to densify Gaussians. For occlusion problems from single-view videos, we design a smooth loss function to restore the color of the occluded areas. Experimental results demonstrate that our method significantly reduces training time, enhances rendering quality, and accelerates rendering speed. Project page: https://***/LPGaussians. © 2025 IEEE.

Methods based on dynamically expanding architectures can effectively mitigate catastrophic forgetting in class incremental learning (CIL), but they often overlook information sharing and integration between subnetworks, leading to performance degradation and increased parameter count and memory consumption as the network expands. To address these complex issues, we introduce a new method called Task Separation and Knowledge Sharing (TSKS), which transfers knowledge at both the logical and feature levels through Hybrid Knowledge Distillation (HKD). In logical distillation, we combine Global Knowledge Distillation (GKD) and Task Knowledge Distillation (TKD) to establish connections between tasks. To prevent the model from favoring new classes, we design an Attention- Based Feature Fusion (ABFF) mechanism to capture important features. Additionally, we introduce a Soft-Margin Auxiliary Loss (SMAL) to help the model learn new concepts. Extensive experiments show that TSKS outperforms existing models on CIFAR100 and ImageNet100, regardless of whether memory samples are used. Notably, TSKS demonstrates superior performance in memory-free settings, indicating a reduced reliance on rehearsal memory.
