Blockchain is an emerging decentralized architecture and distributed computing paradigm underlying Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies,and has recently attracted intensive attention from governments,financial institutions,high-tech enterprises,and the capital *** cryptographic security relies on asymmetric cryptography,such as ECC,***,with the surprising development of quantum technology,asymmetric cryptography schemes mentioned above would become ***,lattice-based cryptography scheme was proposed to be secure against attacks in the quantum *** 2018,with the aid of Bonsai Trees technology,Yin et al.[Yin,Wen,Li et al.(2018)]proposed a lattice-based authentication method which can extend a lattice space to multiple lattice spaces accompanied by the corresponding *** their scheme has theoretical significance,it is unpractical in actual situation due to extremely large key size and signature *** this paper,aiming at tackling the critical issue of transaction size,we propose a post quantum blockchain over *** using SampleMat and signature without trapdoor,we can reduce the key size and signature size of our transaction authentication approach by a significant *** of using a whole set of vectors as a basis,we can use only one vector and rotate it enough times to form a *** on the hardness assumption of Short Integer Solution(SIS),we demonstrate that the proposed anti-quantum transaction authentication scheme over lattice provides existential unforgeability against adaptive chosen-message attacks in the random *** compared to the Yin et al.[Yin,Wen,Li et al.(2018)]scheme,our scheme has better performance in terms of energy consumption,signature size and signing key *** the underlying lattice problem is intractable even for quantum computers,our scheme would work well in the quantum age.

Robust and accurate analysis of clinical ultrasound data is a challenging task due to the complexity of scanned anatomy, noise, shadows, signal dropouts and quantity of the information to be processed. As a result, traditional image analysis relying on the explicit encoding of prior knowledge such as perceptual grouping, variational or generative approaches is usually not enough to capture the complex appearance of ultrasound data. We will discuss a new class of methods that build on recent advances in discriminative machine learning to achieve robust and efficient performance. Image analysis is formulated as a multi-scale learning problem through which object models of increasing complexity are progressively learned. We will demonstrate example applications in Cardiology and OB/GYN.

Digital soil mapping (DSM) relies on a broad pool of statistical methods, yet determining the optimal method for a given context remains challenging and contentious. Benchmarking studies on multiple datasets are needed to reveal strengths and limitations of commonly used methods. Existing DSM studies usually rely on a single dataset with restricted access, leading to incomplete and potentially misleading conclusions. To address these issues, we introduce an open-access dataset collection called Precision Liming Soil datasets (LimeSoDa). LimeSoDa consists of 31 field- and farm-scale datasets from various countries. Each dataset has three target soil properties: (1) soil organic matter or soil organic carbon, (2) clay content and (3) pH, alongside a set of features. Features are dataset-specific and were obtained by optical spectroscopy, proximal- and remote soil sensing. All datasets were aligned to a tabular format and are ready-to-use for modeling. We demonstrated the use of LimeSoDa for benchmarking by comparing the predictive performance of four learning algorithms across all datasets. This comparison included multiple linear regression (MLR), support vector regression (SVR), categorical boosting (CatBoost) and random forest (RF). The results showed that although no single algorithm was universally superior, certain algorithms performed better in specific contexts. MLR and SVR performed better on high-dimensional spectral datasets, likely due to better compatibility with principal components. An important part of the accessibility of the urban environment is the connectivity of transport network, especially regarding to its usage via personal transport. There are many methods of quantitative analysis of this aspect. A significant part of them is based on the isochronal analysis. The article assumes that on the local scale the one of the key factors indicating a transport network connectivity is the asymmetry between forward and backward routes between pairs of points. A method of such analysis, the computational experiment, and the following statistical analysis procedure for checking this hypothesis. Performing this procedure allows us to confirm the hypothesis with statistical significance p=*** experiment presented in the article demonstrates the need to take into account the path asymmetry factor for calculating and evaluating transport accessibility. The given method can be used in optimizing public transport routes, designing traffic flows, and planning the development of the territory in urban agglomerations. © 2022 IEEE.

The beiging of white adipocytes enhances energy expenditure by utilizing fatty acids and glucose, offering therapeutic potential against obesity and type 2 diabetes. However, the genetic mechanisms driving this process remain unclear. Here, we performed multiple fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS)-based genome-wide CRISPR loss-of-function screens in beige adipocytes with or without insulin resistance (IR) induction, and systematically identified functional regulators of beige adipocyte adipogenesis and glucose metabolism. We further integrated transcriptomics and human genetics data to pinpoint key genes for adipogenesis and glucose metabolism in beige adipocytes. Moreover, we validated SULT2B1 and ATP1B2 as key adipogenesis genes for beige adipocytes, and COMMD7 gene as important regulator for glucose uptake against IR. These findings not only provide a comprehensive and valuable resource for cataloguing candidate functional genes underlying lipid and glucose homeostasis in beige adipocytes, but also offer potential therapeutic targets against metabolic disorders.

The statistical observation localized equivalent-weights particle filter in a simple nonlinear model

This paper presents an improved approach based on the equivalent-weights particle filter(EWPF)that uses the proposal density to effectively improve the traditional particle *** proposed approach uses historical data to calculate statistical observations instead of the future observations used in the EWPF’s proposal density and draws on the localization scheme used in the localized PF(LPF)to construct the localized *** new approach is called the statistical observation localized EWPF(LEWPF-Sobs);it uses statistical observations that are better adapted to the requirements of real-time assimilation and the localization function is used to calculate weights to reduce the effect of missing observations on the *** approach not only retains the advantages of the EWPF,but also improves the assimilation quality when using sparse *** experiments performed with the Lorenz 96 model show that the statistical observation EWPF is better than the EWPF and EAKF when the model uses standard distribution *** of the statistical observation localized EWPF and LPF reveal the advantages of the new method,with fewer particles giving better *** particular,the new improved filter performs better than the traditional algorithms when the observation network contains densely spaced measurements associated with model state nonlinearities.

RFID technology provides significant advantages over traditional object-tracking technologies and is increasingly adopted and deployed in real applications. RFID applications generate large volume of streaming data, which have to be automatically filtered, processed, and transformed into semantic data, and integrated into business applications. Indeed, RFID data are highly temporal, and RFID observations form complex temporal event patterns which can be very different for various RFID applications. Thus, it is desirable to have a general RFID data processing framework with a powerful language, for the end users to express a variety of queries on RFID data streams, as well as detecting complex events patterns. While data stream management systems (DSMSs) are emerging for optimized stream data processing, they usually lack the language construct support for temporal event detection. In this paper, we discuss a stream query language to provide comprehensive temporal event detection, through temporal operators and extension of sliding-window constructs. With the integration of temporal event detection, a DSMS has the capability to serve as a powerful system for RFID data processing.
