An efficient diagnosis is very important for a multiprocessor system. In this paper, we present a (α, β) -trees combination S(u, X, α, β) and give some conclusions about the local diagnosis. Based on the (α, β) -trees combination, we give a conditional fault local diagnosis algorithm to identify the fault or fault-free status of each processor correctly under the MM ∗ model when the number of faulty nodes does not exceed α+ 2 β- 3 and every node has at least one fault-free neighboring node. According to our results, a connected network with a (α, β) -trees combination S(u, X, α, β) for a node u is conditionally locally (α+ 2 β- 3 ) -diagnosable at node u and the time complexity of our algorithm to diagnose u is O(α2β+ αβ2). As an application, we show that our algorithm can identify all the faulty nodes of n-dimensional star graph Sn if the faulty node number does not exceed 3 n- 8. Compared with existing algorithms, our algorithm allows more faulty node in a multiprocessor system. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Being one essential part of the solutions we are developing to provide accessibility for blind persons, synthesized speech of mathematical content, although having evolved in naturalness in recent years, still keeps a characteristic of generating very long outputs, which makes it difficult for a person who uses a screen reader to memorize. Eye-gaze tracking has been useful for studying cognitive processes and student's effort in performing tasks therefore it seems attractive as a means to understand how people analyze, process, and break down extensive math expressions into smaller ones. This understanding can help to build a similar model of auditory rendering of MathML capable of avoiding cognitive overload. Therefore, we carried out an experiment to do a gaze-based analysis of reading and memorizing mathematical expressions. Our sample consisted of fourteen participants, and seven mathematical expressions were used in the experiment. The results showed that the computed complexity of the expressions and the average duration of eye-gaze fixations have a strong and significant relationship. Therefore, we conclude that the complexity variable must always be considered in the speech synthesis process of mathematical expressions. However, when considering why participants requested the repetition of an expression with not larger complexity during the memorization process, a tentative interpretation based on the number of MathML tree nodes and the computed complexity of the expressions was not enough to explain it, indicating that other factors need to be investigated. Although some answers to the research questions were not yet conclusive, we consider this research relevant because it points to directions for the work in order to minimize the cognitive processing and mental load of the synthesized speech rendering of mathematical expressions. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper introduces SARA, a semantic-assisted reinforced active learning framework for enhancing entity alignment (EA) under limited supervision scenarios. SARA addresses the challenges of EA in real-world scenarios, including knowledge graph heterogeneity and limited training ground truth. SARA effectively selects valuable entity pairs with limited labeled data by combining reinforced active learning and semantic information. It utilizes a pair-wise language model based on Sentence-BERT to learn informative name embeddings that capture entity name semantics. These embeddings are combined with structural embeddings and trained using a novel semantic-assisted alignment loss. Extensive experiments on benchmark datasets and a real-world dataset demonstrate the superiority of SARA over existing approaches, particularly in limited labeled data scenarios. The paper also provides insights into fine-tuning strategies, presents ablation studies, and conducts sensitivity analyses to validate the effectiveness of SARA.

Tracking Players in a Badminton Court by Two Cameras

This study proposes a simple method for multi-object tracking (MOT) of players in a badminton court. We leverage two off-the-shelf cameras, one on the top of the court and the other on the side of the court. The one on the top is to track players’ trajectories, while the one on the side is to analyze the pixel features of players. By computing the correlations between adjacent frames and engaging the information of the two cameras, MOT of badminton players is obtained. This two-camera approach addresses the challenge of player occlusion and overlapping in a badminton court, providing player trajectory tracking and multi-angle analysis. The presented system offers insights into the positions and movements of badminton players, thus serving as a coaching or self-training tool for badminton players to improve their gaming strategies. The advancement of modern multimedia and data-intensive classes of applications demands the development of hardware that delivers better performance. Due to the evolution of 5G, Edge-Computing, the Internet of Things, Software-Defined networks, etc., the data produced by the devices such as sensors are increasing. A software-Defined network is a powerful paradigm that is capable of automating networking and cloud computing. Software-Defined Network has controllers, devices, and applications which produce a huge amount of data. The processing of data inside the device as well as between the devices needs a better hardware architecture with more cores to ensure speedy performance. The System-on-Chip approach alone will not be capable to handle this dense core comprised of hardware. We have to blend Network-on-Chip along with System-on-Chip to increase the potential to include more cores capable to handle more threads. Artificial Intelligence, a key enabler in next-generation devices is capable of producing a better architecture design with optimized performance. In this paper, we are discussing and endeavouring how System-on-Chip, Network-on-Chip, Software-Defined Networks, and Artificial Intelligence can be physically, logically, and contextually incorporated to deliver improved computation and networking outcomes. © 2022 IEEE.

The problem of finding the minimum amount of fanout needed to realize a switching function f is investigated. Fanout-free functions are defined, and necessary and sufficient conditions for a function to be fanout-free are derived. A measure '(f) called the input fanout index, is introduced which represents the minimum number of input variables that fan out in any realization of f. I is shown that t(f), can be determined from the prime implicants and implicates of f. Another measure of fanout u(f), which is the minimum numbe r of signal lines that must fan out in any network realizing f is defined, and some of the properties of u(f) are examined. © 2021 IEEE. One of the primary technologies necessary for the upcoming sixth generation of communication networks (6G) is massive multi-input multi-output, or MIMO. However, enormous MIMO presents a challenge in reducing energy use and the sum rate demand due to the power use of the several radio frequencies (RF) links in 6G technology. Therefore, this research presented a novel Deformable Graph Neural Network (DGNN) with Tyrannosaurus optimization for the optimal power distribution that maximized the sum rate and energy efficiency of the MIMO NOMA system. The adaptive mechanism of DGNN enables more accurate and efficient power allocation decisions. The integrated Tyrannosaurus optimization ensures the model converging on optimal power allocation strategies that maximize both sum rate and energy efficiency. The efficiency of the recommended model is compared in regarding sum rate and Energy Efficiency (EE) with the some of the recent approaches. The proposed method gained the greater sum rate and EE outperforming all other compared models. © 2024 IEEE.

Autonomous Mobile Network (AMN) contains mobile nodes which can predict the surrounding and forward the data to the receiver in undesirable conditions. AMN can observe, activate, calculate, and interconnect with others by applying point-to-point multi-hop transactions. Achieving such a fundamental agreement in a resource-constrained environment is a challenging problem since security methods always need additional energy and computational storage burdens. This paper proposes Link Connectivity based Reliability with Security (LCRS) in AMN to overcome this problem. This paper aims to detect abnormal nodes and improve link connectivity. The Link Connectivity Threshold (LCT) parameter estimates the link availability among the present sender and the subsequent forwarder node on the route to the destination. It selects the forwarder node by energy, link connectivity, and distance parameters. Furthermore, it isolates abnormal nodes using the lightweight Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) algorithm. This technique isolates the abnormal nodes and provides an effective route. The experimental outcomes demonstrate that the LCRS scheme diminishes the packet loss rate and delay. Furthermore, it raises the abnormal node detection ratio.
