The use of a ternary hybrid nanofluid, a new form of nanofluid, can improve heat movement. The current research employs a two-dimensional steady model to investigate nonlinear thermal radiation via ternary hybrid nanofluid flow across a revolving disc. The study of manganese zinc ferrite, copper, and silver nanocomposite base hybrid nanofluid across a spinning disc is gaining traction in invention and research due to its broad range of applications. To derive dimensionless forms of regulating paired nonlinear partial differential equations, a collection of pertinent similarity transformations is used. Based on the shooting method, the modified collection of ODEs is then analytically solved by bvp4c via the computational tool MATLAB. Furthermore, as the magnetic parameter values are reduced, the fluid velocity declines while the fluid temperature grows over a spinning disc. For larger levels, the temperature of the distribution and the radiant heat component rises. The ternary composite nanofluid has the largest impact on the surface. Furthermore, compared to the hybrid and based nanofluids, the heat generation rate of the ternary nanofluid combination is the higher transmission. The significance of Ag nanoparticles in the food industry is because of their anti-bacterial and anti-fungicidal properties, silver (Ag) is widely used in everyday products such as fabrics, pastes, polymers, food, and detergents. Manganese zinc ferrites (MnZnFe2O4) have recently piqued the interest of material science researchers due to their broad variety of applications. They are extensively used in energy storage devices, catalysts, adsorbents, sensing and imaging, therapeutic action, and other applications. © 2023 The Author(s)

The paper describes the system presented by the University of L'Aquila in collaboration with the University of Havana - team named UNIVAQ - to the TREC 2019 Precision Medicine Track. The proposed solution, maps any kind of documents - Scientific Abstract, Clinical trials, and Topics - into a multi-dimensional common general representation. Each document is described by five primitive features. The values of each feature are extracted from the original documents using deep learning and machine learning text processing based techniques. To recognize Genes and Diseases, we have trained our models using the PubTator annotated corpus. Instead, to derive demographics information, we have trained the employed deep learning models using the documents -obtained from the Relevance and Raw judgements of the past edition of TREC Precision Medicine/Clinical Decision Support Track 2018- considered "relevant" or "partially relevant". The results of the Track clearly show that applying a system (as our) made solely by a tagging based approach to the Precision Medicine task, is not sufficient to achieve the performances gained by other systems presented in the TREC Precision Medicine Track 2019. © 2019 28th Text REtrieval Conference, TREC 2019 - Proceedings. Context Agile software development (ASD) aims to deliver high-quality software. However, software quality often gets less attention due to focus on *** an evidence-based quality-aware ASD process that organizations can use to create a more quality-aware development process and improve software *** methodUsing design science research, we collaborated with four organizations applying ASD in different contexts. Involving a total of 35 practitioners, we designed company-specific evidence-based quality-aware ASD processes, which were validated through simulated scenarios, implemented, and evaluated by the practitioners. ResultsA general ASD process model, derived from the company-specific models, was created, which shows the specific activities, frequencies, roles, and development phases where evidence can be used to improve software quality. The new process model contributed towards improved bottleneck identification, release readiness, and quality issues prioritization. We also learned that companies must be mindful of the rules that determine the use of evidence. Conclusion Integrating the use of quality related evidence into the ASD process can make it quality-aware, supporting software quality management, and enabling timely reaction through fast feedback loops. The evidence-based quality-aware ASD process is applicable in any Scrum-like ASD process. Applicability in other forms of ASD, however, requires further research. © 2023, The Authors. Fresh market sweet corn (Zea mays L.) is a row crop commercialized as a vegetable, resulting in strict expectations for ear size, color, and shape. Ear phenotyping in breeding programs is typically done manually and can be subjective, time consuming, and unreliable. computer vision tools have enabled an inexpensive, high-throughput, and quantitative alternative to phenotyping in agriculture. Here we present a computer vision tool using open-source Python and OpenCV to measure yield component and quality traits relevant to sweet corn from photographs. This tool increases accuracy and efficiency in phenotyping through high-throughput, quantitative feature extraction of traits typically measured qualitatively. EarCV worked in variable lighting and background conditions, such as under full sun and shade and against grass and dirt backgrounds. The package compares ears in images taken at varying distances and accurately measures ear length and ear width. It can measure traits that were previously difficult to quantify such as color, tip fill, taper, and curvature. EarCV allows users to phenotype any number of ears, dried or fresh, in any orientation while tolerating some debris and silk noise. The tool can categorize husked ears according to the predefined USDA quality grades based on length and tip fill. We show that the information generated from this computer vision approach can be incorporated into breeding programs by analyzing hybrid ears, capturing heritability of yield component traits, and detecting phenotypic differences between cultivars that conventional yield measurements cannot. Ultimately, computer vision can reduce the cost and resources dedicated to phenotyping in breeding programs. © 2022 The Authors. The logico-pluralist LOGIKEY knowledge engineering methodology and framework is applied to the modelling of a theory of legal balancing in which legal knowledge (cases and laws) is encoded by utilising context-dep.ndent value preferences. The theory obtained is then used to formalise, automatically evaluate, and reconstruct illustrative property law cases (involving appropriation of wild animals) within the Isabelle/HOL proof assistant system, illustrating how LOGIKEY can harness interactive and automated theorem proving technology to provide a testbed for the development and formal verification of legal domain-specific languages and theories. Deep learning (DL), a relatively recent AI technique, has been successfully applied to the problem of automated modulation categorization (AMC), with promising results. An essential part of developing the spectrum-sensing capabilities needed by software-defined radio is carrying out radio signal classification jobs, which we did in this research by introducing a better deep neural architecture. Different detection techniques were utilized in the literature; however, DL neural networks are recently utilized in this field. Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) which is one variation of the RNN network, and other techniques are some of the employed DL architectures in the field of AMC. In this paper, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model has been built to automatically classify ten-modulation formats correctly. The suggested CNN network is constructed mainly of six-Convolutional layers. The overall number of trainable parameters in the proposed network is 1,757,962. Thus, the network accuracy, which was achieved during the training reached more than 90%. Python programming packages have been used to implement the suggested approach using *** platform, which provides wide-range of facilities.

Ground anchoring is a popular method to stabilize the slope. It is essential for stability evaluation to measure the tension value of anchor from installed load cell. In this paper, a wireless anchor load measuring system is proposed for continuously on-site slope stability monitoring. Each anchor load cell is connected to a MCU-based acquisition unit and become a wireless IoT end-device. This system is scalable so the sensor dep.oyment will be much more flexible than that in conventional data acquisition system. The excitation circuit, signal amplification and analog-to-digital conversion are completed by a small-size device next to the anchor so that very low-noise result can be obtained. Each measurement consumes less than 10mA•s so this device can be drive only by a 55mm∗70mm∗40mm solar power module. Verified by almost 3-year's on-site test, it is confirmed the proposed monitoring system can continuously capture and send one measurement per minute to the cloud server without any other electric power. The experimental and on-site test results show the practicability of proposed system and its reliability of long-term measurement. It has very high application potential on real-time slope stability monitoring by collecting and analyzing the load values of all installed anchors. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This work is focused on the controller chip design/ implementation of serial-parallel-switched-capacitor coupledinductor (SPSCCI) inverter applied to high-gain boost DC-AC conversion. The controlled plant is its power part made up of SPSCCI booster and DC-link inverter to perform a practical DC-AC conversion from 12V to 110VRMS, 60Hz. Here, for achieving this goal, the controller is its control part constructed by sinusoidal pulse-width-modulation (SPWM) compensator plus phase generator, and then is implemented under Cadence full-custom design through pre-layout simulation (PRE-SIM) and post-layout simulation (POST-SIM) on a fabricated chip of integrated circuit: no. D35-105B-E0008, TSMC 0.35μm 2P4M, 1500×1500μm 2 , 5.0V, 2.68mW, max frequency 200kHz. Finally, with the help of this controller chip, a closed-loop prototype circuit of this SPSCCI can be realized and verified experimentally for some test cases of DC-AC to validate the feasibility of this inverter.

The field of research known as “parallel processing” examines architectural and algorithmic methods for increasing the efficiency and other desirable qualities (such as cost-effectiveness and reliability) of computers by exploiting many forms of concurrency. The development of multi-core CPUs has opened the door to novel strategies for boosting system performance via parallelism. Increasing the number of concurrent threads greatly affects the time cost. While increased parallelism might reduce calculation time, the associated synchronization costs would likely be prohibitive for most applications. In this article, we'll go through the first half of the process, which involves gathering requirements and designing a prototype; the second half, which involves monitoring and managing a program that can run on a wide range of multicore system architectures, including those with (2, 4, and 8 CPUs). A shared-memory parallel processing method was proposed and built to show off the system's full potential. The implications of multi-core systems on overall program execution time and parallel processing in shared-memory systems provide the backbone of this investigation.

The positioning accuracy of various kinds of devices is often calculated by using Wi-Fi fingerprints as a data source of Received Signal Strength (RSS). Through different matching algorithms, these RSS values are related to corresponding positioning coordinates for positioning estimation. In this paper, we compare two well known Machine Learning (ML) structures for calculating positioning accuracy: Recurrent Neural Network-Long Short-Term Memory (RNN-LSTM) and a Decision Tree (DT). Both matching algorithms run through a series of datasets in two parts. In the first part, the datasets contain raw, non-normalized RSS values. In the second part, the RSS values are all normalized to remove noise in the datasets. After extensive testing and simulations, the tests showed that as long as RSS values are first normalized, a Decision Tree offers better average positioning accuracy. © 2020 IEEE.
