As artificial intelligence has grown rapidly in recent years, picture captioning has attracted the interest of numerous experts, which has become a fascinating and challenging challenge. A critical component of scene analysis which combines machine vision and the natural languages of language processing capabilities is visual subtitles which automatically generate natural language interpretations based on image details. This paper utilizes different NLP strategies for perceiving and clarifying an image meaning in a natural language such as English. The proposed Inception V3 image caption generator model uses CNN (Coevolutionary Neural Networks) and LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) units. The InceptionV3 model has been educated in 1000 different classes on an ImageNet dataset. The model was imported directly from the Keras module of applications. Remove from the InceptionV3model the last classification layer for the dimension (1343, ) vector. The embedded matrix is used for vocabulary connections. A building matrix is the linear transformation of the original space with important relations into a real-life space. Image captions are commonly used and, for example, important in implementing interaction between humans and the computer. © 2021 IEEE.

This study is using Go programming language that support parallel programming for numerical calculation. The program was created is designed for calculate ground-state energy of electron, which is based on Density Functional Theory (DFT). In the context of smart cities, the adoption of multi-UAV systems has become a key focus in enhancing traffic management, particularly to fortify public safety. This study addresses the challenge of optimizing traffic management through the application of swarm-based Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The research strategically aims to minimize the number of dep.oyed drones for monitoring extensive road networks, fostering cost-efficiency within smart city contexts. Our investigation introduces a mathematical model, the swarm-drone set covering problem, to optimize coverage. Through a detailed computational experiment, we showcase the effectiveness of the algorithm in minimizing dep.oyment while maintaining surveillance efficiency. Notably, our results reveal a significant correlation: as the radius of coverage for individual UAVs increases, the required number of UAVs decreases, underscoring the impact of coverage radius on resource optimization. The findings of this study contribute to the advancement of safety, security, and overall transportation network management in smart cities.

During the past two decades, methods for identifying groups with different trends in longitudinal data have become of increasing interest across many areas of research. To support researchers, we summarize the guidance from the literature regarding longitudinal clustering. Moreover, we present a selection of methods for longitudinal clustering, including group-based trajectory modeling (GBTM), growth mixture modeling (GMM), and longitudinal k-means (KML). The methods are introduced at a basic level, and strengths, limitations, and model extensions are listed. Following the recent developments in data collection, attention is given to the applicability of these methods to intensive longitudinal data (ILD). We demonstrate the application of the methods on a synthetic dataset using packages available in *** Codes 62H30 © 2021, CC BY-NC-SA.

Large scale penetration of wind power to the grid and unevenly spread power demand can result in the transmission system not being able to dispatch all the produced wind power, causing in wind power *** line rating (DLR) is a technology which uses thermal properties of overhead conductors and weather data to determine the real-time ampacity limits of transmission lines. In general, dynamic rating allows extending capacity limits of power lines and helps to remove congestion in the grid.(/p)(p This study looks into the possibility of using dynamic line rating for removing congestion in the power system to allow dispatching more wind power and minimize the need for curtailment. The results of case-studies have shown that DLR allows to significantly reduce the curtailment of generation, especially during winter, when wind production is highest and day time, when the power demand is the highest. © 2020 IEEE.

Cascaded H-Bridge (CHB) converters have been considered valid candidates for replacing the two-level inverter in EV powertrain applications. This paper presents a State of Charge-governed algorithm for charging Li-Ion battery modules within a Cascaded H-Bridge converter for EV powertrain, connected to a DC charger. The novelty of this algorithm lies in the balanced and concurrent charge of the battery modules installed in all submodules of the three-phases, with no extra middle stage converter needed. Simulation and experimental results are shown to prove the validity of the novel architecture and the experimental setup is described.

In the past fifteen years, the grow of using Bag of Words (BoW) method in the field of computer vision is visibly observed. In addition,-for the text classification and texture recognition, it can also be used in classification of images, videos, robot localization, etc. It is one of the most common methods for the categorization of text and objects. In text classification, the BoW method records the number of occurrences of each bag that is created for each instance type or word disregarding the order of the words or the grammar. And in visual scene classification it is based on clusters of local descriptors which are taken from the images disregarding the order of the clusters. The key idea is to generate a histogram for the words in the documents or the features in the images to represent the specified document or image. The BoW method is computationally and even conceptually is simpler than many other classification methods. For that reason, BoW based systems could record new and higher performance scores on common used benchmarks of text and image classification algorithms. This paper presents an overview of BoW, importance of BoW, how does it work, applications and challenges of using BoW. This study is useful in terms of introducing the BoW method to the new researchers and providing a good background with associated related works to the researchers that are working on the model. © 2019 IEEE.

We apply the chaos supremacy of laser chaos system to the high stabilization of THz waves. Stability was demonstrated by down converting the optical beats between laser longitudinal modes in the THz domain to the radio frequency domain and comparing a conventional free running CW laser diode to a chaotically oscillating laser diode. Because of their exceptional stability, chaotically oscillating lasers are attractive options for optical pump sources in terahertz time-domain spectroscopy systems.

This work is focused on the controller chip design/ implementation of serial-parallel-switched-capacitor coupledinductor (SPSCCI) inverter applied to high-gain boost DC-AC conversion. The controlled plant is its power part made up of SPSCCI booster and DC-link inverter to perform a practical DC-AC conversion from 12V to 110VRMS, 60Hz. Here, for achieving this goal, the controller is its control part constructed by sinusoidal pulse-width-modulation (SPWM) compensator plus phase generator, and then is implemented under Cadence full-custom design through pre-layout simulation (PRE-SIM) and post-layout simulation (POST-SIM) on a fabricated chip of integrated circuit: no. D35-105B-E0008, TSMC 0.35μm 2P4M, 1500×1500μm 2 , 5.0V, 2.68mW, max frequency 200kHz. Finally, with the help of this controller chip, a closed-loop prototype circuit of this SPSCCI can be realized and verified experimentally for some test cases of DC-AC to validate the feasibility of this inverter.

The field of research known as “parallel processing” examines architectural and algorithmic methods for increasing the efficiency and other desirable qualities (such as cost-effectiveness and reliability) of computers by exploiting many forms of concurrency. The development of multi-core CPUs has opened the door to novel strategies for boosting system performance via parallelism. Increasing the number of concurrent threads greatly affects the time cost. While increased parallelism might reduce calculation time, the associated synchronization costs would likely be prohibitive for most applications. In this article, we'll go through the first half of the process, which involves gathering requirements and designing a prototype; the second half, which involves monitoring and managing a program that can run on a wide range of multicore system architectures, including those with (2, 4, and 8 CPUs). A shared-memory parallel processing method was proposed and built to show off the system's full potential. The implications of multi-core systems on overall program execution time and parallel processing in shared-memory systems provide the backbone of this investigation.
