User dissatisfaction due to buffering pauses during streaming is a significant cost to the system, which we model as a non-decreasing function of the frequency of buffering pause. Minimization of total user dissatisfaction in a multi-channel cellular network leads to a non-convex problem. Utilizing a combinatorial structure in this problem, we first propose a polynomial time joint admission control and channel allocation algorithm which is provably (almost) optimal. This scheme assumes that the base station (BS) knows the multimedia frame statistics of the streams. In a more practical setting, where these statistics are not available a priori at the BS, a learning based scheme with provable guarantees is developed. This learning based scheme has relation to regret minimization in multi-armed bandits with non-i.i.d. and delayed reward (cost). All these algorithms require none to minimal feedback from the user equipment to the base station regarding the states of the media player buffer at the application layer, and hence, are of practical interest. the explosion if e.-commerce businesses have seen the growth if number if the online businesses worldwide. Consumers nowadays are opted with inline business commerce which is inconsiderably inconvenience compared to traditional transactions. Deniably, e.-commerce enterprises offer more benefits, comparing to 'bricks-Andmortal' traditional enterprises, but not to be missed the issues and challenges faced by the e-commerce enterprises. This study highlighted the issues and challenges of e-commerce and a set of proposed solutions to those issues and challenges. Among the issues are trust, readiness and security. Dynamic rating is a technology which allows loading power lines above their rated limits. More often, dynamic rating is used to transport new power and connect additional generators to the grid using existing infrastructure. However, this study explores the possibility to use dynamic rating for improving the security of supply and assisting fast reconnection of disconnected customers during emergency and fault situations occurring at other lines. DLR allows improving power system reliability during emergency conditions using Optimal Power Flow (OPF), which additionally helps to minimize costs of system operation. Large costs involving investment for new infrastructure and penalties for interruptions in the power supply can be considerably reduced by implementing DLR. Also, DLR can improve the reliability of the system by providing real-time information on the status of power lines. Using Optimal Power Flow ensures that the lines loading, bus voltage magnitudes and angles as well as generation injections are within the acceptable limits as per the utility regulations. Faults are modelled as cases when one of the lines becomes disconnected. The bottlenecks in the system during post-fault situations are identified to determine optimal lines in the system on which DLR could be implemented.

We analyze Markov impulsive difference model for age structured population divided into three groups under the assumption of perturbations at random time moments. Assuming sufficiently small intervals between changes, we apply the stochastic averaging procedure and construct an ordinary 3-dimensional differential equation for population dynamics in the mean and a linear 3-dimensional stochastic differential equation for deviations from the mean trajectories. High-Performance Computing (HPC) has been created to improve the quality of Pengantar Komputasi Parallel lectures. HPC consists of two PCs with AMD Ryzen 7 processor connected by high-speed LAN. HPC is used to solve problems that students can't practice Parallel Computing because the computer used is not adequate. So it takes a machine that can used together that has many processors, so the problems encountered are resolved. The results obtained, participants can use more than four processors to solve tree problems directly. © 2019 IOP Publishing Ltd. All rights reserved.

Recent years have seen an increasing interest in providing accurate prediction models for electrical energy consumption. In Smart Grids, energy consumption optimization is critical to enhance power grid reliability, and avoid supply-demand mismatches. Additional economic and environmental benefits can be obtained if a proper and reliable description and forecast of energy absorption is available. This research presents fits for neural network model, and comparative resulting forecasts with those obtained from Box- Jenkins Method. We use time series data of monthly electrical energy consumption, into Basra city (Iraq) from 2007-2016, to perform a comparative. The result of the data analysis show that the proper and efficient model for representing time series data is the multiplicative seasonal model of order: SARIMA (3, 1, 3) × (0, 1, 1). According to this model the Research forecast the monthly electricity consumption for January 2017 to December 2018. As for application, Box-Jenkins Method has given more appropriate forecasts than those given by Back propagation artificial neural network. We used Minitab program in the statistical aspect and Alyuda program in the neural network aspect. © 2018 IEEE.

Nowadays, the recognition of group activities is a significant problem, specially in video surveillance. It is increasingly important to have vision architectures that automatically allow timely recognition of group activities and predictions about them in order to make decisions. This paper proposes a computer vision architecture able to learn and recognise group activities using the movements of it in the scene. It is based on the Activity Description Vector (ADV), a descriptor able to represent the trajectory information of an image sequence as a collection of the local movements that occur in specific regions of the scene. The proposal evolves this descriptor towards the generation of images able to be the input queue of a two-stream convolutional neural network capable of robustly classifying group activities. Hence, this proposal, besides the use of trajectory analysis that allows a simple high level understanding of complex groups activities, takes advantage of the deep learning characteristics providing a robust architecture for multi-class recognition. The architecture has been evaluated and compared to other approaches using BEHAVE and INRIA dataset sequences obtaining great performance in the recognition of group activities.

The use of a ternary hybrid nanofluid, a new form of nanofluid, can improve heat movement. The current research employs a two-dimensional steady model to investigate nonlinear thermal radiation via ternary hybrid nanofluid flow across a revolving disc. The study of manganese zinc ferrite, copper, and silver nanocomposite base hybrid nanofluid across a spinning disc is gaining traction in invention and research due to its broad range of applications. To derive dimensionless forms of regulating paired nonlinear partial differential equations, a collection of pertinent similarity transformations is used. Based on the shooting method, the modified collection of ODEs is then analytically solved by bvp4c via the computational tool MATLAB. Furthermore, as the magnetic parameter values are reduced, the fluid velocity declines while the fluid temperature grows over a spinning disc. For larger levels, the temperature of the distribution and the radiant heat component rises. The ternary composite nanofluid has the largest impact on the surface. Furthermore, compared to the hybrid and based nanofluids, the heat generation rate of the ternary nanofluid combination is the higher transmission. The significance of Ag nanoparticles in the food industry is because of their anti-bacterial and anti-fungicidal properties, silver (Ag) is widely used in everyday products such as fabrics, pastes, polymers, food, and detergents. Manganese zinc ferrites (MnZnFe2O4) have recently piqued the interest of material science researchers due to their broad variety of applications. They are extensively used in energy storage devices, catalysts, adsorbents, sensing and imaging, therapeutic action, and other applications. © 2023 The Author(s)

The present work is devoted to study the microstructure and magnetic behavior of Mn-rich Heusler MnNiIn alloys. The Mn-substituted alloys with Mn50Ni50-xInx (at.%) (x = 7.5 and 10) were prepared by melt-spinning technique. Experimental results show that the alloys crystallized into a monoclinic martensite structure 14M type, for the Mn50Ni42.5In7.5 alloy and L21 type cubic austenite structure for the Mn50Ni40In10 alloy. The characteristic temperatures decreased with the increase of In content under different magnetic fields: 50 Oe, 500 Oe, 5 kOe and 30 kOe. For the Mn50Ni42.5In7.5 alloy, the presence of a paramagnetic-ferromagnetic transition is noted. This transition in the austenitic phase occurs before the martensitic transformation during cooling. On the other side, for the Mn50Ni40In10 alloy, there is the presence of a martensitic transformation followed by a ferromagnetic transition. This transformation is carried out between a paramagnetic cubic austenite type and a ferromagnetic monoclinic martensite. This allows us to conclude that Indium addit ion plays a role to change the structure and magnetic behavior in MnNiIn alloys. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Investigating the human mobility patterns is a highly interesting field in the 21th century, and it takes vast attention from multi-disciplinary scientists in physics, economic, social, computer, engineering...etc. dep.nding on the concept that relates between human mobility patterns and their communications. Hence, the necessity for a rich repository of data has emerged. Therefore, the most powerful solution is the usage of GSM network data, which gives millions of Call Details Records gained from urban regions. However, the available data still have shortcomings, because it gives only the indication of spatio-temporal data at only the moment of mobile communication activities. In this chapter, Gama platform development environment of constructing spatially multi agent simulation is used for modeling and simulating the individual reconstructed trajectories. As a result, the individual trajectories revealed the human daily life patterns.
