In recent decades, the advent of digital information services by YouTube, Amazon, Netflix, and many other web services of this kind have made recommendation systems more and more ubiquitous in our lives. rice field. The system suggests and recommends articles to the user that may interest the user in online advertising (recommending and suggesting appropriate content to the user that matches the user’s tastes and activities). Recommendation systems have become an integral part of our daily online journeys. The quality of predictions is degraded by the attackers by injection of fake profiles. therefore, the shilling attacks detection are necessary. thus, various shilling attacks detection techniques proposed. In this paper, we introduce an enhanced technique for detecting shilling attacks in collaborative recommender system using supervised learning techniques. The proposed method results show that getting better accuracy when we employee ensemble learning algorithm.

In the last years, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have been widely used for several types of missions, including aerial reconnaissance, search and rescue, and military operations. In first rescue missions, the ability to detect missing people after avalanche events in a short time is fundamental to increase the probability of saving them. The use of unmanned aerial vehicles in such scenarios can improve results with respect to multiple points of view: on the one hand, it can decrease the danger for rescuers, while on the other hand, it can speed up the search process. An effective solution can be the involvement of a formation of multiple drones to cover a greater research space and accelerate the process. However, an important challenge in dep.oying a formation of robots in emergency scenarios is the autonomy in terms of system scalability, since drones are usually teleoperated in a one-to-one ratio with operators, requiring a large crew of rescuers. In order to improve the situational awareness and distribute the communication burden, this paper deals with a decentralized Kalman filtering algorithm using sensor data from multiple drones to estimate a target position, besides UAVs state to support guidance and control algorithms. Such decentralized Kalman filtering algorithm combines the characteristics of Consensus on information and Consensus on Measurement techniques. The proposed technique is preliminarily validated by means of numerical simulations on an example scenario.

The purpose of this research is to help save electricity within organizations and workplaces that use computers. Due to the behavior of general users today, they do not give importance to saving electricity. This work has developed an automatic computer shutdown system. with image processing via a webcam by using image processing techniques (image processing) applied to a webcam by using a webcam to capture the user on the computer screen. Then the images are analyzed and examined with the principles of image processing with the face detection technique using the algorithm of Haar -like features to detect human faces and ROI. define a specific area of interest. The system will then check the amount of inactivity on the screen. or does not show the face image within 10 minutes, the system will automatically turn off the computer. with image processing. This work can make it easier to turn off computers when not in use. and helps to save electricity for the organization or agencies as well.

This paper suggests the use of Nano VNAs (Vector Network Analyzers) as a practical and cost-effective alternative to standard VNAs for the characterization of WPT links operating at low frequencies. Experimental data for a link operating at 7 MHz are reported and compared with those obtained through a standard VNA, thus demonstrating the good accuracy achievable with Nano VNAs. © 2021 URSI.

Test automation is crucial for agile software projects to enable frequent delivery of working software with cost and time and minimal bugs. However, selecting the right automated testing tool is considered challenging due to the wide range of such existing tools. Additionally, the challenges occur clearly due to several issues such as the programming code language, the categorization of the developed system, and the tester’s knowledge and skills. This paper aims to address this gap by proposing an evaluation framework for comparing and classifying the existing automated testing tools used in agile projects. The framework is developed based on an extensive literature review of existing agile testing methodologies and common commercial automation testing techniques. The key criteria for tool evaluation are identified to cover the main testing objective aspects such as test design support, testing interfaces, reporting capabilities, etc. These criteria are considered the core methodology for this study used to analyze and compare the popular open-source and commercial tools. The proposed evaluation framework provides agile practitioners with guidelines to assist in selecting the appropriate tools based on their specific project needs such as budget, timelines, and technical expertise. This study is considered a comparative evaluation of existing agile testing tools to highlight their key strengths and limitations. The findings of this study categorized the testing tools based on the interface, code, design, and report features. This research contributes to assisting the project developer and tester in selecting suitable tools for the adoption of automated testing tools in their agile software projects. It also identifies the direction for future work, such as integrations with modern development methodologies and technologies.

A distance oracle (DO) for a graph $G$ is a data structure that, when queried with vertices $s,t$ , returns an estimate $\widehat{d}(s,t)$ of their distance in $G$ . The oracle has stretch $(\alpha, \beta)$ if the estimate satisfies $d(s,t)\leqslant \widehat{d}(s,t)\leqslant \alpha\cdot d(s,t)+\beta$ . An $f-\mathbf{edge}$ fault-tolerant distance sensitivity oracle $(f-\mathbf{DSO})$ additionally receives a set $F$ of up to $f$ edges and estimates the distance in $G-F$ . Our first contribution is the design of new distance oracles with subquadratic space for undirected graphs. We show that introducing a small additive stretch $\beta > 0$ allows one to make the multiplicative stretch $\alpha$ arbitrarily small. This sidesteps a known lower bound of $\alpha\geqslant 3$ (for $\beta=0$ and subquadratic space) [Thorup & Zwick, JACM 2005]. We present a DO for graphs with edge weights in $[0, W]$ that, for any positive integer $\ell$ and any $c\in(0,\ell/2]$ , has stretch $(1+\frac{1}{\ell},2W)$ , space $\widetilde{O}(n^{2-\frac{c}{\ell}})$ , and query time $O(n^{c})$ , generalizing results by Agarwal and Godfrey [SODA 2013] to arbitrarily dense graphs. Our second contribution is a framework that turns an $(\alpha,\beta)- \mathbf{stretch}$ DO for unweighted graphs into an $(\alpha(1+\varepsilon),\beta)-\mathbf{stretch}. f-\mathbf{DSO}$ with sensitivity $f=o(\log(n)/\log\log n)$ retaining sub-quadratic space. This generalizes a result by Bilò, Chechik, Choudhary, Cohen, Friedrich, Krogmann, and Schirneck [TheoretiCS 2024]. Combining the framework with our new DO gives an $f-\mathbf{DSO}$ that, for any $\gamma\in(0, (\ell+1)/2]$ , has stretch $((1+\frac{1}{\ell})(1+\varepsilon), 2)$ , space $n^{2-\frac{\gamma}{(t+1)(f+1)}+o(1)}/\varepsilon^{f+2}$ , and query time $\widetilde{O}(n^{\gamma}/\varepsilon^{2})$ . Forest fires are currently the most common issue that we are dealing with. The resources that have been lost are irreplaceable. Forest fires are uncontrollable fires that occur in nature as a result of human involvement or any other natural event. Forest fires can be so large that putting them out takes a long time. Contrasting with previous years, there has been a striking surge in the frequency of forest fires. Changes in climatic conditions are the key factor affecting the scope of forest fires. Long dry spells in the spring and summer make the woodlands particularly vulnerable. The extent of forest fires is mostly determined by weather conditions such as precipitation and wind, as well as the terrain's architecture. The incorporation of a Video Fire Detection model significantly enhances the efficiency of fire detection systems, particularly in large spaces. Establishing a video fire detection system involves focusing on spatial, spectral, and temporal indicators, as well as flame picture segmentation, recognition, tracking, and prediction. Analytical techniques, specifically utilizing ResNet50 and VGG16 models, can be applied to identify pool fire images through these segmentation processes, contributing to more robust fire detection capabilities.

Seabed-to-space situational awareness (S3A) aims to organize, fuse, and synthesize the massive volume of information collected from heterogeneous sensors, i.e., underwater, terrestrial, and space-based sensors, and therefrom extract knowledge thence available to defence operators, enabling informed decision-making. Heterogeneous sensors provide observations of targets in different domains (e.g., air, water surface, undersea), and with different modalities, perspectives, latencies, and update rates. They complement each other, and an effective approach is needed to combine the data they generate. This paper introduces a comprehensive framework for multi-target tracking based on the sum-product algorithm (SPA) that models the different characteristics of the sensors and handles the appearance of targets in a complex multi-domain environment both through spontaneous births and through spawning from existing targets. The efficacy of this approach is demonstrated through a simulated maritime scenario informed by real-world observation streams.

Project Risk management is the process of identifying, evaluating, avoiding, or reducing risks. Where there is no software project without risks existence are natural in the context of project planning and management. This study focuses on proposing an enhanced risk management approach where testing phases were added to make the risk management process more effective by proposing solutions to many mistakes and challenges that occur through dealing with risks. The proposed approach focuses on dealing with risks that cannot be easily defined, more accurate risk evaluation, planning, and managing risk coordinated with a contingency plan.
