This paper describes the development of an electricity visualization tool that can be used on multiple platforms without requiring new contracts or complex installation work. Existing services that provide electricity visualization require different arrangements and installation work for each company, making their introduction complicated and costly. The tool is packaged as a multi-platform system that can be used on Windows, Linux, and MacOS, making it widely available. A questionnaire survey was conducted to confirm the usability of the developed visualization screen, and 80% of the participants expressed a desire to introduce the system.

Greenhouses plays a major role in today's agriculture since farmers can grow plants under controlled climatic conditions and can optimize production. The greenhouses are usually built in areas where the climatic conditions for the growth of plants are not optimal so requires some artificial setups to bring about productivity. Automating process of a greenhouse requires monitoring and controlling of the climatic parameters. This paper is an attempt to minimize the cost of maintaining greenhouse environments using new technologies. The end goal of this research an automated system to optimally monitor and control the environmental factors inside greenhouse by monitoring temperature, soil moisture, humidity and pH through a cloud connected mobile robot which can detect unhealthy plants using image processing and machine learning. The mobile robot navigates through a predefined map of greenhouse. Database server has created to store gathered real-time data. And the necessary accurate data represent by using proper application for analyzing. © 2020 IEEE.

This paper discusses the fine modelling and control of three-phase PWM inverter by means of average model method. First, the average model method is used step by step to make it easier to read in the power stage design. The second part is the controller design which has the inner current controller and the outer voltage controller to help controlling accurately. Finally, the linear and nonlinear loads were tested respectively on the basis of fine modelling, being meaningful to do the research of nonlinear loads. The simulation results have shown that the average model method is an effective research solution of three-phase PWM inverters, which can be easily generalized to modelling and control of any other PWM inverters. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. A new approach to managing transportation by an intelligent passenger transport system (IPTS) is proposed. The IPTS functioning is based on the following principles: continuous collection and analysis of transportation demand data; adaptive organization of transportation in real time by an intelligent control system (with minimal human participation); transportation is carried out based on the selection of the optimal transportation plan at the given moment; transportation is performed by unmanned electric cars that can be combined into cassettes, thus forming a new vehicle of the required passenger capacity; passenger transportation in the IPTS combines normal, high-speed and express modes with the prevalence of the high-speed mode, due to which the passenger makes a minimum number of unnecessary stops. The listed principles ensure the efficient use of the carrier’s resources and passenger transportation of increased consumer qualities.

This paper addresses the influence of nanoparticles (NPs) on the dielectric properties of polyurethane. In this research, we only investigated the effect of Al2O3, MgO and ZnO NPs for concentrations up to 2% wt and in the temperature range from 25 to 120 °C. During the preparation of nanocomposites, polymer chains bind to NPs, which then limits their mobility. This effect results in a decrease in real permittivity and the course of polarization mechanisms. We observed an increase in permittivity over the entire temperature range only for a 2% MgO concentration. The decrease in the mobility of polymer chains was confirmed by dynamic-mechanical analysis. This method also results in an increase in the glass transition temperature dep.nding on the type and concentration of NPs. The presence of NPs and the limited mobility of the polymer chains results in a shift of the low-frequency local maximum to lower frequencies © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

This study proposes a grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) system consisting of a direct current (DC) - direct current (DC) boost converter and voltage source inverter (VSI). Different maximum power extraction techniques was used to obtain the greatest possible power produced by a solar photovoltaic (PV) system. The perturb and observe (P&O), BAT and a novel hybrid combination of BAT-PO chosen as the power tracking technique. The output voltage of the boost converter was regulated and synchronized with a 100 kW PV system to the grid. To increase the PV system's performance, a suitable duty ratio required for the boost converter was tuned effectively by implementing a novel hybrid MPPT technique, that is, BAT-PO algorithm. In addition, the current control technique is implemented in a voltage source inverter to minimize the grid current's harmonics. Maximum power, efficiency, and THD are the indicators used to assess the performance of MPPT algorithms. The proposed system was implemented and tested in MATLAB/Simulink using various MPPT techniques. Among the chosen MPPT algorithms, In terms of maximum power (93.9kW) and THD (0.32%), the BAT-PO hybrid MPPT algorithm performed significantly better than the competition. The major goals of this study are to maximize power and minimize THD.

In this paper, we present an annotation tool developed specifically for manual sentiment analysis of social media posts. The tool provides facilities for general and target based opinion marking on different type of posts (i.e. comparative, ironic, conditional) with a web based UI which supports synchronous annotation. It is also designed as a SaaS (Software as a Service). The tool's outstanding features are easy and fast annotation interface, detailed sentiment levels, multi-client support, easy to manage administrative modules and linguistic annotation capabilities. © 2013 Association for Computational Linguistics

Neurocorrelates of the executive function inhibition were explored during a dual-task framework. Currently, there's a lack of comprehensive exploration into the specific EEG markers of inhibition activation within a dual-task framework. To quantitatively assess gait, a 3D motion analysis system comprising a 3D optoelectronic setup with 22 reflective markers placed on participants' bodies was employed. Concurrently, Go-NoGo tasks were administered to selectively activate inhibition at increasing level of difficult. Ten healthy subjects were involved in the study. EEG data of participants were acquired using the Mitsar EEG 201 system while walking and executing Go-NoGo tasks. The 19-wet-channel device provided an improvement in signal-to-noise ratio compared with a previous study by the authors on the same topic. Stride length parameter was computed to assess gait. A significantly lower stride length (0.06m with a p-value of 0.004 and 0.05m with a p-value of 0.007 for easy and hard difficulty, respectively) was observed during the fulfillment of both levels of Go-NoGo task, in contrast to the execution of the mere motor task. Inter-subject Spearman rank correlation and Friedman tests revealed a significant negative correlation between the task difficulty and (i) absolute delta power in Fp1, Fp2, and Fz, and (ii) absolute alpha and theta powers in Fp1 and Fp2, respectively. These findings confirm the relevance of EEG signals in monitoring executive functions involved during gait in a loss prevention framework.

Quantum computer chip based on spin qubits in diamond uses modules that are entangled with on-chip optical links. This enables an increased connectivity and a negligible crosstalk and error-rate when the number of qubits increases onchip. Here, 3D integration is the key enabling technology for a large-scale integration of the diamond spin qubits with photonic and electronic circuits for routing, control and readout of qubits. There are several engineering challenges to integrate the large number of spins in diamond with the on-chip circuits operating at a cryogenic temperature. In this paper we will address challenges, present recent results and discuss future outlook of the integration technology for realization of a scalable quantum computer based on diamond spin qubits.

We apply the chaos supremacy of laser chaos system to the high stabilization of THz waves. Stability was demonstrated by down converting the optical beats between laser longitudinal modes in the THz domain to the radio frequency domain and comparing a conventional free running CW laser diode to a chaotically oscillating laser diode. Because of their exceptional stability, chaotically oscillating lasers are attractive options for optical pump sources in terahertz time-domain spectroscopy systems. © 2023 IEEE.
