This study investigates the relationship between clause final forms and prosody in Japanese conversation. In Japanese syntax, there are two types of clause-final;one is the "noncontinuing forms,"which complete the clause as a sentence, and the other is "continuing forms,"which do not complete the clause but connect it to the next clause. On the other hand, prosody plays an important role whether the clause is completed or not as well as syntactic features. Based on these, this study shows what prosody each types of syntactic clause finals co-occur. The conversation data are taken from The Corpus of Japanese Everyday Conversation (CEJC). Using the conversational data, prosodic patterns of clause final are counted according to the types of clause final shown above. The result is as follows: the two types of clause final show different tendencies of the tonal pitch movement at the clause final elements (boundary pitch movement;BPM). © 2023 IEEE.

In the era of pervasive digital data, ensuring secure file storage has become a paramount concern. This paper explores the significance of hybrid cryptography for design of an advanced tools and techniques for secure file storage. Hybrid cryptography, combining symmetric and asymmetric encryption, offers robust protection against unauthorized access, tampering, and data loss. The article reviews recent cryptography literature, highlighting the importance of secure file storage in today's interconnected world and examining the benefits of hybrid cryptography. The analysis of articles on cryptography reveals emerging trends and challenges. Post-quantum cryptography addresses concerns about quantum threats, while blockchain-based cryptography enhances security in IoT data sharing. Homomorphic encryption enables computations on encrypted data, and cryptographic protocols that protect privacy enable safe multi-party computation. Machine learning's intersection with cryptanalysis introduces efficiency but raises ethical considerations. The paper further discusses advancements and trends in cryptography techniques, including post-quantum cryptography, homomorphic encryption, zero-knowledge proofs, post-quantum key exchange, secure multi-party computation, and post-quantum signature schemes. These developments aim to ensure long-term security against quantum attacks, enable privacy-preserving computations, and enhance the confidentiality, integrity, and authentication of digital communication and data storage. In conclusion, the paper advocates for the adoption of hybrid cryptography in secure file storage systems. Its combination of symmetric and asymmetric encryption, along with its adaptability to evolving security landscapes, positions hybrid cryptography as a formidable approach to data protection. Deep neural operators have seen much attention in the scientific machine learning community over the last couple of years due to their capability of efficiently learning the nonlinear operators mapping from input function spaces to output function spaces showing good generalization properties. This work will show how to set up a per-formant DeepONet architecture in acoustics for predicting 2-D sound fields with parameterized moving sources for real-time applications. A sensitivity analysis is carried out with a focus on the choice of network architectures, activation functions, Fourier feature expansions, and data fidelity to gain insight into how to tune these models. Specifically, a default feed-forward neural network (FNN), a modified FNN, and a convolutional neural network will be compared. This work will de-mystify the DeepONet and provide helpful knowledge from an acoustical point of view. © 2023 Nikolas Borrel-Jensen et al. Supply chain is the universal link network to deliver the product from one place to another. Capability to trace and track the Agri-goods products is very important throughout various stages of the supplychain including manufacturing, processing, distribution, importation, and retail. Ensuring the safety, quality, and validation of agricultural products is very crucial. In traditional supply chain management, which often involves untrusted entities and data is centrally monitored and stored with all the transactions being processed through a centralized organization. However, this centralized system is vulnerable to hacking by third parties, which can result in data security issues and the potential for a single point failure. And the primary challenges include monitoring, the origin of agri-goods, tracing the logistics, and low level of security, trust, and transparency between the stakeholders which leads to implicit delays downstream of Agri goods, and decisions taken among different dep.rtments. In this study, we propose a consortium blockchain solution for tracing and tracking of agri-goods products. Blockchain has a rapidly evolving disruptive technology and immutable chain structure that is linked sequentially according to chronological order. Which is achieved through the creation of smart contract algorithms between different entities and fostering communication among stakeholders in the agri-goods supply chain. The traceability of the agri-goods products, including their origin, safety, quality, and validation, is implemented through the integration of RFID (Radio frequency identifications) tags and readers. Additionally, the solution incorporates a blockchain-enabled ultra-light weight mutual authentication RFID protocol for provide the security and resist the possible vulnerabilities. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid rise of commercially available drones, driven by miniaturization and affordability, has introduced potential security risks alongside numerous societal benefits. While drones serve various industries, their unregulated use necessitates robust detection and classification methods. This paper proposes a novel, efficient model for classifying unwanted drone activity. We leverage statistical and time-domain features extracted from radio frequency (RF) signals and machine learning (ML) classifiers. This approach aims to not only detect drones but also distinguish their models and operational modes. Utilizing the DroneRF dataset, our feature selection strategy prioritizes informative signals in the low-band spectrum, achieving {100%} accuracy in both drone detection and drone model identification tasks. Furthermore, our hybrid model, combining time-domain and frequency-domain features, achieves an accuracy of {97.66%} in classifying different flight modes. This demonstrates the effectiveness of this comprehensive feature extraction approach for drone activity classification. © 2024 IEEE.

Industry 4.0's emergence necessitates reliable communication systems. Millimeter-wave (mmWave) communication is a promising solution, but challenges like limited coverage and atmospheric absorption persist. The Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces (IRS) offers transformative potential by dynamically manipulating wave propagation to improve millimeter-wave (mmWave) communication. This research investigates the impact of the distance of Industrial User Equipment (iUE) from the IRS and Base Station (BS), and the height of the IRS from the ground, along with the impact of sum throughput by increasing the number of IRS elements. The IRS-assisted system exhibits enhanced performance within the mmWave frequency band compared to the sub-6 GHz band. The observed achievable rate gains, exceeding 200% on average, underscore the significant performance enhancement enabled by IRS dep.oyments. Moreover, increasing the number of IRS elements significantly enhances the overall throughput. The decrease in required transmit power with an increasing number of Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces IRS elements can be attributed to the enhanced ability of IRS to efficiently reflect and manipulate electromagnetic waves. As more IRS elements are dep.oyed, they collectively contribute to optimizing signal propagation, allowing for better control and redirection of the transmitted signals. This phenomenon enables the system to achieve the desired communication objectives with less overall transmit power. Additionally, the attainable capacity of the examined IRS-assisted wireless communication system exhibits growth alongside an increase in the elevation of the IRS installation. Results showcase the potential of IRSs to enhance coverage and communication reliability, providing valuable insights for designing efficient wireless systems in smart factories and Industry 4.0 applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Outlier removal is an important step in 3D point cloud data processing. Various methodologies for outlier removal will be analyzed shortly in this paper by describing a range of statistical and machine-learning techniques. Thus, the intent is to analyze different techniques and evaluate their performance in order to justify unique advantages and limitations of each technique. These limitations and advantages advance the discussion by introducing a new approach combining statistical and machine learning techniques on a real-world dataset. It not only identifies the spatial position of outliers but also enhances the measurement precision at those specific points. This work has a lot of significance from many aspects for researchers, engineers, and practitioners. Especially in robotics, industrial processes, augmented reality, and autonomous driving, the nature of 3D point cloud data requires sophisticated outlier handling. We believe our work will serve as a reference to optimize data quality in these dynamic applications under development. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper searches into the convergence of such ad-vanced techniques with architectures like DenseNet201, VGG16, InceptionResNetV2, and NasNetMobile. Our focus centers on harnessing deep learning capabilities for the precise detection of eye ailments. Preliminary findings spotlight a notable uplift in diagnostic precision. Among the tested algorithms, the Nas-NetMobile architecture emerged superior, boasting an impressive accuracy rate of 92% on the chosen dataset. Through this work, we extend a significant advancement in the realm of automated eye disease diagnosis, potentially equipping medical professionals with sharper, swifter diagnostic tools. The outcomes presented herein could play a seminal role in sculpting more sophisticated and precise diagnostic approaches within ophthalmology. © 2023 IEEE.

This article proposes a novel methodology to analyze risks in digital currencies. It dep.nds on the perceptions of users in social media to recognize and estimate the potential risks. Besides, it includes utilizing high-level computational techniques such as big data analysis techniques and natural language processing. We illustrate the suggested system mathematically and some important expressions for risk analysis, risk recognition and risk estimation are driven in closed forms. Moreover, we present a use case study to extract insights about the potential risks related to digital currencies. Further, some indicators are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the suggested approach like the mean accuracy for processes of analyzing risks, identifying risks and assessing risks assessment that is 77 %. © 2023 IEEE.
