The term Steganography refers to the science that deals with hiding the secret messages (text or anything else) inside an original cover file of the text, audio, video or image. The need for modern methods is to keep the secret information and protected it with the increasing danger of outside hackers. Steganography seems to be a good option to increase information security by hiding them. This paper is a review of the past year's methods used in audio steganography. Audio steganography is a method to hide a secret message (sound or anything else) in an audio cover file, in varied ways. It is a proposal for future actions. These methods used different types of digital audio such as WAV, MP3 or AU. The result showed that most of the studies used LSB to embed secret messages, but with other encryption-system for strength LSB family. Others Modified LSB to produce an enhanced method. In general, most studies concentrate on common methods or their combination to develop new efficient methods. Most of the studies had a lack in all or some measures of invisibility and robustness. This concept came after authors' interesting in cryptography more than steganography. This study recommended maintaining all measures to enable future studies to determine which steganography method is most effective. © 2019 IEEE.

Utilizing a stack cache in a real-time system can aid predictability by avoiding interference that heap memory traffic causes on the data cache. While loads and stores are guaranteed cache hits, explicit operations are responsible for managing the stack cache. The behavior of these operations can be analyzed statically. We present algorithms that derive worst-case bounds on the latency-inducing operations of the stack cache. Their results can be used by a static WCET tool. By breaking the analysis down into subproblems that solve intra-procedural data-flow analysis and path searches on the call-graph, the worst-case bounds can be efficiently yet precisely determined. Our evaluation using the MiBench benchmark suite shows that only 37% and 21% of potential stack cache operations actually store to and load from memory, respectively. Analysis times are modest, on average running between 0.46s and 1.30s per benchmark, dep.nding on the size of the stack cache. © 2013 ACM.

Excessive lose of customer account is becoming a major headache for VIP E-Mail hosting companies. Analysis of what kind of customer is more prone to lose and finding the appropriate measures to sustain those customers has become urgent needs. Recently, classification models based on mathematical programming have been widely used in business intelligence. The purpose of this paper is to propose several multiple criteria programming methods for classification and apply these methods to VIP E-Mail behavior classification. We first introduce a model for a generalized multiple criteria programming based classification method, specifically four particular forms, and then we use a cross-validation method to test the stability and accuracy of multiple criteria programming methods on VIP E-Mail accounts. Finally, we compare our models with Support Vector Machine (SVM). The results show that the classification models based on mathematical programming are satisfactorily accurate and stable on a VIP E-Mail dataset. Therefore, it can be concluded that applying the proposed method on VIP E-Mail behavior analysis can provide stable and credible results. © 2010 - IOS Press and the authors. All rights reserved.

Air pollution is one of the most common problems that the world is facing today. In fact, there are numerous causes of air pollution, including the large number of industries and automobiles that emit carbon dioxide (CO2) and carbon monoxide. Pollution is increasing on a daily basis, making air quality monitoring and management a major challenge for governments in both developed and developing countries. Air pollution affects human health as well as the atmosphere, causing climate change. One of the techniques used for monitoring air pollution is the Internet of Things (IoT). In this paper, we demonstrate various techniques for monitoring air quality using IoT and make a comparison based on various factors elicited from the previous work. © 2023 IEEE.

Lung cancer is the second leading cause of death worldwide after cardiovascular disease. Due to late diagnosis, lung cancer patients have an extremely low survival rate when compared to other cancer patients. Hence, early lung cancer detection is critical for patients to undergo early therapies, boosting their chances of surviving or potentially becoming cancer-free. Over the past few years, researchers have developed several deep learning-based computer-aided diagnostic tools to detect lung cancer early. As a consequence, deep learning models are readily susceptible to over-fitting for fewer data samples and can be computationally time-consuming to pick hyper-parameters, which usually leads to a reduction in performance. Our proposed technique came up with a solution to this challenge of lung cancer classification tasks that used a layer-wise transfer learning strategy. In this work, three types of data samples such as Lung adenocarcinoma (Lung a), lung squamous cell carcinoma (Lung scc), and lung benign (Lung b) have been taken and implemented models, namely Group-I, II, III with frozen layers and baseline algorithms as VGG-19. To check the validity of the proposed models on lung samples and attain the best classification accuracy on Lung scc vs. Lung b 97.53%, also discriminate between Lung a vs. Lung b testing accuracy 92.59%. In contrast, the remaining Lung scc vs. Lung a attained 89.30%. Finally, a comparison to other studies demonstrating the suggested model superiority over state-of-the-art models in testing accuracy © 2023 IEEE.

Three essential elements for formulating the maintenance planning are the choice of maintenance policy, defining maintenance procedure and allocation of maintenance resources. The granularity of computer-aided maintenance planning mainly dep.nds on the representation granularity of maintenance procedure. After analyzing the typical mode to make computer-aided maintenance planning, we put forward one ontology-based framework for collaborative maintenance planning, whose concepts are divided into maintenance knowledge category and maintenance business category. Then the concepts and the relationships among them are explored through the ontology models in concept layer and one example in instance layer. Finally some models are illustrated using ontology language. The framework is flexible and practical to the maintenance of various kinds of products especially to complex products. The detailed work of maintenance planning can be generated automatically according to the correspondence of the concepts between the knowledge category and the business category. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.

Dealing with uncertainty in the context of planning has been an active research subject in AI. Addressing the case when uncertainty evolves over time can be difficult. In this work, we provide a solution to this problem by proposing a temporal logic to reason about quantities and probability. For this logic, we provide a PSPACE SAT algorithm together with a complete calculus. The algorithm enables us to perform planning under uncertainty via SAT, extending a technique used for classic planning. We can show that any obtained plan will have certain properties (desired or undesired). The calculus can also be used to derive the impossibility of a plan, given a set of specifications. The size of Unified Modeling Language (UML) models used in practice is very large and ranges up to hundreds and thousands of classes. Querying of these models is used to support their quality assessment by information filtering and aggregating. For both, human cognition and automated analysis, there is a need for fast querying. In this context performance of model queries becomes an important issue. We investigated performance characteristics of two different querying engines: one using the Object Constraint Language (OCL) and the other using Prolog. Our comparison is based on equivalent queries in both languages. We applied the queries to 118 models of a size up to 10000 classes to analyze model load and evaluation time. Our preliminary results show that if execution time of queries is linear then Prolog is faster. For one of the presented cases, the execution time in Prolog was nonlinear and. thus higher. Further studies should focus on a performance analysis reflecting expressiveness aspects. Our experimental material is accessible to enable future replications of this study. © 2008 IEEE.

It has become a trend to integrate automatic industries via Internet and wireless applications over network. Along with the advancement of technology development, research on wireless applications and remote control has become significant and popular today. Thus, we have designed and implemented a teaching platform with wireless applications and remote control using GSM system in the Mobile-PLC (M-PLC) control lab. The integration of the mobile control and measurement using the GSM Short Message Service (SMS) provides a teaching platform where students can learn anytime and anywhere. We can monitor machine operations using GSM system. The usability and economy of teaching media is apt, since cell phones are cheap, easy to operate and portable. © 2006 IEEE.

This paper presents the fuzzy modeling approach to the description QV curve of power system for analysis of voltage stability. Voltage instability of power system comes from increasing load rapidly, and causes bus voltage to drop. When voltage is out of control and it can be voltage collapse. The QV curve can identify voltage stability limit, and it determine robustness of power system. The method of fuzzy modeling has been proven to be well-suited for modeling nonlinear industrial processes described by input-output data. In view of the nonlinear characteristic of the QV curve, the method of fuzzy modeling is employed for representing the curve. The fuzzy system model is basically a collection of fuzzy IF-THEN rules that are combined via fuzzy reasoning for describing the features of a system under study. Based on the Sugeno-type fuzzy model, various models with different numbers of modeling rules are used to describing the QV curve. It is found that such fuzzy model offers both quantitative and qualitative descriptions for the QV curve.
