This study aims to review existing literature on audits within the technological domain, with a specific focus on Robotic processautomation (RPA), in order to develop a framework tailored to the RPA technology lifecycle for effective audit control. The methodology involves a systematic review of pertinent literature sourced from academic and scientific databases, followed by an analysis to identify gaps. A proposed framework, aligned with the RPA technology lifecycle, integrates essential criteria for conducting audits focused on RPA project control, thereby addressing identified deficiencies. The results of this synthesis highlight areas for further investigation and the development of a comprehensive framework that caters to the specific needs of RPA projects. In conclusion, this research consolidates pertinent findings from the literature review and introduces a novel framework aligned with the RPA technology lifecycle, integrating crucial audit criteria. The ultimate goal is to bridge research gaps and offer practical guidance to RPA technology users, thereby enhancing project control and performance.

In the 1970s, a slogan became popular in Italy: «Zero Work, Full Income, All production to automation». It expressed the hope of a future free from manual labour that would be performed by new informatics technologies Since the beginning of industrialisation, the invention of new technology has triggered various reactions and analyses in industrialised societies: on the one hand, technology has been seen as a threat to human labour; on the other hand, technology has generated expectations of a better future without work. My contribution analyses how some political and intellectual actors in the world of work in Italy have reacted to the prospects of labour automation and the increasing application of information technology to the productionprocess and how the new technology combined with the transformation of the workindividual relationship in the 1970s and 1980s to produce different discourses on the new possibilities and the risks of the new informatised world(s) of work. In my contribution I focus on the Italian case. It is an interesting case study to analyse the discourses on labour and technology «Since the Boom» (Doering Manteuffel/Raphael, Nach dem Boom Perspektiven auf die Zeitgeschichte seit 1970, 2008). In the 1970s, some political and social movements in Italy, such as theAutonomia Operaia or the movment of 1977 saw the automation of labour as a means of liberation of life from work (Falciola Il movimento del 1977 in Italia, 2015). Moreover, critical reflections such as those of Post-operaism have developed in Italy, interpreting technological change as a revolutionary possibility of emancipation from labour (Wright Storming heaven. Class composition and struggle in Italian autonomist marxism, 2002).
