In this paper, we consider the robust fault tolerant control of the distributed networked control systems(DNCSs). In DNCSs, sub-systems are connected with each other through a communication network. Each sub-system has its own sensor, controller, actuator and quantizer. The output of each sub-system will be transmitted to all other sub-systems through the network. As a result, quantization errors and packet-dropouts cannot be avoided. We also consider the actuator faults situations, including outage, loss of effectiveness and impulse which is modeled by a Markov chain in this paper. A mode-based static output feedback controller is proposed to stable the DNCSs and to meet the robust H-inf performance. Finally, a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper addresses the multistability for a general class of recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays. Without assuming the linearity or monotonicity of the activation functions, several new sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the existence of (2K+1)(n) equilibrium points and the exponential stability of (K+1)(n) equilibrium points among them for n-neuron neural networks, where K is a positive integer and determined by the type of activation functions and the parameters of neural network jointly. The obtained results generalize and improve the earlier publications. Furthermore, the attraction basins of these exponentially stable equilibrium points are estimated. It is revealed that the attraction basins of these exponentially stable equilibrium points can be larger than their originally partitioned subsets. Finally, three illustrative numerical examples show the effectiveness of theoretical results.

This paper presents distributed parameter dynamical modeling capabilities of single-mast stacker crane structures. In the frame structure of stacker cranes due to external excitation or inertial forces undesirable structural vibrations may arise. These vibrations reduce the stability and positioning accuracy of stacker crane and causes increasing cycle time of storage/ retrieval operation. Thus it is necessary to investigate of these vibrations. In this paper the dynamical behavior of single-mast stacker cranes is approximated by means of distributed parameter models. The first model is a cantilever beam model with uniform material and cross-sectional properties. This model is used to demonstrate fundamental properties of Euler-Bernoulli beam models. The second model is cantilever beam model with variable cross-sectional properties and lumped masses. The eigenfrequencies and mode shapes of this mast-model are determined by means transfer matrix method. In the third model the whole structure of single-mast stacker crane is modeled. Beside the eigenfrequencies and mode shapes of this model the Bodediagrams of frequency response function is also calculated.

An approach of direct adaptive fuzzy sliding-mode control which combines the fuzzy control with the sliding-mode control, is proposed for the control of a class of unknown nonlinear dynamic systems. The control goal is to obtain a direct adaptive fuzzy sliding-mode control law and a constructive Lyapunov synthesis approach with respect to a class of nonlinear systems without the knowledge of uncertainties. For improving the approximate performance of the fuzzy system, the proposed approach in this study not only online updates the parameter values in the consequence fuzzy sets, but also updates the shape parameters of the membership functions of the prime fuzzy sets. The fuzzy control rules are updated through the online adaptive learning, which makes the output of fuzzy control to approximate to a sliding-mode equivalent control. The asymptotic stability of the overall system based on Lyapunov theory is proved. Some numerical simulation results show the efficiency of the proposed approach.
