Environmental monitoring has become more crucial as a result of the recent climatic changes, making it a hot issue and a very active study field. This field uses wireless sensor networks and remote sensing to collect data about the environment. Recent developments, including the Internet of Things (IoT) concept, the cloud computing paradigm, and cyber-physical systems, assist the administration and transmission of enormous volumes of data about changes in environmental parameters. The current work presents three different IoT-based wireless sensors for monitoring the environment and the surrounding area: one uses Wi-Fi User Datagram Protocol (UDP)-based communication, one uses Wi-Fi and Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), and a third one uses Bluetooth Smart. The ability to capture data at distant places and see it from any device with an Internet connection is a feature shared by all of the systems that have been discussed. This makes it possible to monitor vast geographic regions. These systems' specific development details are discussed, along with their main distinctions and affinities. The three created systems were evaluated for their suitability for IoT-based solutions, taking into consideration their energy independence, usability, solution complexity, and Internet connectivity capability.

WSN is defined as the group of sensor nodes which has the ability to sense various environmental parameters. It has limitation in ranges. The sensor nodes present in the network could be stationary or movable or even homogeneous or location aware. The sensed data from sensor nodes are transmitted to base station using multiple hops. It could also be done using Internet via router or gateway. Information gathered by base station increases according to the increase in sensor nodes occupying maximum capacity of present network. Wireless sensor network is an assembly of nodes from one to many or even hundreds or thousands, one of the nodes is connected to one sensor. These sensor nodes have different parts like a radio trans-receiver along with an internal or external antenna, microcontroller, power supply which will be battery oriented or connected with solar harvesting system and PCB based electronic circuit for interfacing. The trans-receiver receive and send information to and from the base station (control computer). Size of sensor node varies like size of a shoebox to the dust grain. Cost of these sensors varies according to their size, depending on the interfacing complexity of each node. Limitation of cost and size of sensor nodes results in correspondence limitation of resources used such as computational speed, power supply, and memory storage and network bandwidth. The main motto of this paper is to overcome the major problem of energy conservation in WSNs with a simple approach.

Post-harvest loss of agricultural products is a significant problem in many developing and expanding countries that are experiencing economic expansion. On the one hand, there is a lack of understanding regarding the sizeable amount of losses, and on the other, there is a lack of knowledge regarding the advantages of applying uncomplicated postharvest and conservation methods. A significant amount of agricultural productivity is lost in many nations. Using the right post harvest technology could help to cut down on food waste. Additionally, it helps to raise product quality, which raises market prices. The most typical way to preserve freshly obtained fruits(grapes) is by drying and storing them. The practice of drying goods outdoors in the sun dates back to ancient times, however there are drawbacks, including a heavy reliance on the weather, slow drying durations, the potential for contamination, etc. These problems may be overcome by using mechanical dryers, although they are energy intensive. Simple mechanical processes and solar-powered drying can lower the moisture content of grapes, enabling longer-term storage. Common methods of raisins processing are the open sun drying and natural air-drying shelter. Both of methods have been long production period, large area, the quality of grapes is low. Mainly traditional solar dryer for grape do not have heat system with lower efficiency. As a result, the drying air condition varies greatly and closely tracks changes in the ambient air condition. The drying process is discontinuous. According to incomplete statistics, the consuming time of grape drying is 15 days with traditional solar dryers. Therefore, the traditional solar dryer is not suitablefor industrial production. the paper mainly dealt with the sustainable self-made solar dryer and heat storage system with nichrome coil.

A Wireless sensor network (WSN) consisting of spatially distributed autonomous devices using sensors is prone to numerous kinds of threats and attacks due to various reasons such as unattended nature of deployment in an un-trusted environment, limited network resources, easy network access as well as range of radio transmission. Wormhole attack is one such attack where an intruder establishes a low latency link between two sensor nodes so as to misguide the nodes and exhaust network resources by gaining access to sensitive information. This paper outlines the wormhole attack in WSN and provides a critical review on the techniques to deal with it. Various wormhole detection techniques and prevention mechanisms that can be used to counter the wormhole attack in WSN are compared and analyzed briefly in this paper. © 2019, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

With the recent rapid development of the Internet of Vehicles and autonomous driving technology, the demand for digital vehicle identification has also increased. Coupled with the gradual maturity of quantum technology, the Internet of Vehicles, which mainly uses wireless communication technology for data transmission, will face the threat of quantum computing and privacy issues. This research proposes the Vehicle Forensics Cloud System (VFCS), a framework combining post-quantum cryptography and blockchain technology to address these issues and provide a comprehensive solution for vehicle digital forensics.

In recent events, expanding consideration has been coordinated to the investigation of the emotional material of Voice signals, and thus, numerous frameworks have been proposed to distinguish the emotional material of a verbally expressed articulation. This paper is an analysis of voice sentiments grouping tending to three critical parts of the structure for a Voice feeling acknowledgment framework. The first problem is the decision of reasonable features for voice signal portrayal. The second problem is the structure of a fitting grouping plan and the third problem is the best possible planning of a passionate voice signal database for assessing framework execution. In this paper we will try to recommend conceivable methods for enhancing voice signal acknowledgment frameworks. © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this paper, an improvement for the Moth-flame Optimization (MFO) algorithm is proposed based on Opposition-Based Learning (OBL), that enhances the exploration of the search space through computing the opposition values of solutions generated by MFO. Moreover, such an approach increases the efficiency of MFO as multiple regions in the search space are investigated at the same time. The proposed algorithm (referred to as OBMFO) avoids the limitations of MFO (and other swarm intelligence algorithms) that result from the moving in the direction of the best solution, especially if this direction does not lead to the global optimum. Experiments are run using classical six benchmark functions to compare the performance of OBMFO against MFO. Moreover, OBMFO is used to solve the feature selection problem, using eight UCI datasets, in order to improve the classification performance through removing irrelevant and redundant features. The comparison results show that the OBMFO superiors to MFO for the tested benchmark functions. It also outperforms another three swarm intelligence algorithms in terms of the classification performance.

In the world wide millions of people interested on games and competitive matches. The stakeholders stand for one team and produce the sponsorship to the players. Huge amount of money transferred from one hand to other hand. So that stakeholder wants to select a good players into his teams. Here Machine Learning based multi variant regression algorithms used to calculate the progress of each player based on previous datasets to predict the performance at on-going match. To extract the features from on-going match characterized with learned datasets by implementing the Support Vector Machine (SVM), Gaussian Fit-chime (GAU) and KNN algorithms which perform the optimal classification on trained datasets. Feature selection and game predictions are become critical analytical process. The performance of the model effected and produces the outcome based on the feature selection. In this process some irrelevant variables removed to reduce the burden of algorithms and input datasets dimensions. This process speed up the dataset learning using various algorithms to produce the game predictions. The machine learning models mostly preferred algorithms to implement in feature selection are Linear Regression, Decision Tree Regression, Random Forest Regression and Boosting Algorithm like Adaptive Boosting (AdaBoost) Algorithm. In this paper we discussed about how to predict the game score based on trained datasets using various algorithms on Machine Learning platform.
