With growing urbanization there is a need to manage vehicle-to-vehicle communication for intelligent communication in congested traffic. The performance of the widely used routing protocols AODV, DSDV, DSR, LAR, and ZRP is examined in this research in relation to traffic circumstances on a particular highway. Utilizing OSM data, integrated with NS2 and SUMO, realistic traffic scenarios are simulated. ZRP is a hybrid protocol that handles local communication within zones and LAR bridges the gap between the nodes and zones. This increases communication efficiency. Simulation of scenarios gives a clearer idea of how the dissemination is happening and helps in performance analysis. The protocols are assessed using important performance criteria in this study by means of a methodical approach that includes data collecting, simulation, and execution. Comparison of the metrics for the protocols helps in protocol selection for given scenarios, optimization, and standardized evaluation. The specific metrics considered for performance evaluation include Packet Delivery Ratio, Average End-to-End Delay, Average Throughput, Packet Drop Rate, and Normalized Routing Load.

This work presents an IoT-Blockchain integration solution to enhance the typical Drone systems to acquire optimal organizational performance. Several questions that are associated with modern drone operations are solved by the suggested system, and these questions are the following: data security, efficiency of work, and system scalability. Concerning the experimental results, the boost in the realism of the data transfer rates can also be seen - the mean rate is increased from 500 to 1200 KB/s, thus enabling real-time control. Another effect of Smart Contracts was reducing the time it took to carry out operational activities to which the contracts were applied. For instance, the time taken to route a flight to save time was brought down from 10 minutes to 2 minutes, the time to allocate resources for the flight was brought down from 15 minutes to 3 minutes, and the time to schedule maintenance of the flight was brought down from 20 minutes to 5 minutes. It also presented the framework's performance metrics, such as a 0% data breach incidence rate different from the annual average of 12 in centralized traditional systems. This goes well with Blockchain's ability to house information in a record that can never be altered, providing data security and credibility. However, the system also proved scalability as the number of drones changed from 10 to 100, and the throughput changed from 100 to 920 TPS. Also, the system latency remained below 70 ms during this process, which is critical for responsive trading applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Leaf disease frequently arises as pears plants mature. With a particular emphasis on categorizing the pear leaf disease, the proposed research work suggests the implementation of the CNN architecture that we use in this study to create this disease identification and classification method comprised of ResNet50, InceptionV3, VGG16, and VGG19. These neural networks have been pre-trained on the ImageNet dataset. The ensemble methodology that we describe produces final predictions for the test samples based on the recall, precision, accuracy, and f1-score scores of four standard evaluation metrics. Even though there is an increase in the amount of accuracy when the models are ensembled, the remarkable combination is InceptionV3 with VGG16 with an accuracy of 77.25%, precision of 79.34%, recall of 77.25% and F1 score of 76.50% and with the severity classification as accuracy 45.29%, precision 46.88%, recall 45.29% and F1 score 45.50% respectively.

Aiming at the problems of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks in the cloud environment, the encrypted attack traffic is more concealed, more accessible to initiate, and more significant in scale. This paper proposes a trust-based DDoS discovery method for encrypted traffic in the cloud environment named as Trust Cloud. This technique adds the concept of trust to the current machine learning-based DDoS attack detection system, and combines the security authentication of the cloud service itself, and integrates the trust evaluation mechanism based on signature and environmental factors to filter the apparently non-attack traffic of legitimate tenants, without the need for encrypted traffic. Under the premise of decryption, the sensitive information contained in the legitimate tenant traffic is guaranteed. Afterwards, for other encrypted traffic and non-encrypted traffic, five features are introduced, namely, the median value of flow packets, the median value of flow bytes, the convection ratio, the port speed increase, and the source IP speed increase, and the Ball-tree is constructed based on the features. And a traffic classification algorithm based on k-nearest neighbors (kNN) is proposed. Finally, the effect of the proposed method is tested in the OpenStack cloud environment. The experiments show that the Trust Cloud method can quickly detect abnormal traffic and identify the early traffic of DDoS attacks. At the same time, it can effectively protect the sensitive traffic information of legitimate users. © 2023 ACM.

In the realm of remote control, my preference is computer manipulation through hand gestures. Recent strides in technology showcase the feasibility of using manual gestures on Arduino platforms, facilitated by cloud computing. A Wi-Fi-based hand gesture computer control system was developed using an ESP-01 Wi-Fi module and an Arduino microcontroller, enabling remote control and monitoring without geographical constraints or time limitations. The ESP8266 Wi-Fi module played a crucial role in establishing wireless communication with an Android application (S Remote) for transmitting commands to regulate domestic appliances. The AT mega 328 AVR series Microcontroller R3, lacking built-in Wi-Fi, required the ESP-01 Wi-Fi module for wireless communication and programming. The Arduino IDE facilitated programming, incorporating ESP-01 and LCD components. Hand gesture-controlled robots and PC/laptop hand gesture control systems, both utilizing Arduino technology, exemplify similar applications. The Human Machine Interface (HMI) concept involves physical components and software enabling communication between users and machines. HMI devices, including LED indicators and touch screens, traditionally use keyboards and mice. This research implemented a hand gesture controller using Arduino technology, specifically for web browser features, video playback, and VLC media player audio adjustments. The ESP-01 Wi-Fi module, configured via AT instructions through a UART serial connection, played a key role in integrating a hand gesture system for effective computer control. Users can perform actions like playing or pausing videos and adjusting audio amplitude within the VLC media player solely through manual gestures.

Endoscopic video processing could facilitate pre-operative planning, intra-operative image guidance and generation of post-operative analysis of the surgical procedure. However, most of the current methods are still based on a single frame of image analysis, which makes the results of the previous frame images independent of each other and causes vibration. In this paper, we propose an temporal context framework for endoscopy artefact segmentation and detection. The framework extends the general segmentation and detection model to the form based on temporal input, and we add a Temporal Context Transformer(TCT) after the encoder of the model to improve the model’s ability to construct temporal context features. the experiments of the EndoCV 2022 challenge dataset that this framework can improve the robustness of the model. © 2022 Copyright for this paper by its authors. We study a variant of the geometric multicut problem, where we are given a set P of colored and pairwise interior-disjoint polygons in the plane. The objective is to compute a set of simple closed polygon boundaries (fences) that separate the polygons in such a way that any two polygons that are enclosed by the same fence have the same color, and the total number of links of all fences is minimized. We call this the minimum link fencing (MLF) problem and consider the natural case of bounded minimum link fencing (BMLF), where P contains a polygon Q that is unbounded in all directions and can be seen as an outer polygon. We show that BMLF is NP-hard in general and that it is XP-time solvable when each fence contains at most two polygons and the number of segments per fence is the parameter. The shift towards the renewable energy market for carbon-neutral power generation has encouraged different governments to come up with a plan of *** with the endorsement of renewable energy for harsh environmental conditions like sand dust and snow,monitoring and maintenance are a few of the prime *** problems were addressed widely in the literature,but most of the research has drawbacks due to long detection time,and high misclassification *** to overcome these drawbacks,and to develop an accurate monitoring approach,this paper is motivated toward the understanding of primary failure concerning a grid-connected photovoltaic(PV)system and highlighted along with a brief overview on existing fault detection *** on the drawback a data-driven machine learning approach has been used for the identification of fault and indicating the maintenance unit regarding the operation and maintenance ***,the system was tested with a 4 kWp grid-connected PV system,and a decision tree-based algorithm was developed for the identification of a *** results identified 94.7%training accuracy and 14000 observations/sec prediction speed for the trained classifier and improved the reliability of fault detection nature of the grid-connected PV operation.
