Face mask detection has gained significant importance in recent times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research work proposes a face mask detection method using the Single Shot MultiBox Detector (SSD) framework. The proposed method aims to accurately identify whether individuals are wearing masks or not in real-time scenarios. To begin with, a dataset comprising images of masked and unmasked faces is collected from kaggle and annotated with corresponding labels. The SSD model is then trained on this dataset, utilizing its ability to simultaneously perform object localization and classification. By leveraging the pre-trained weights and the architecture of SSD, the model is able to detect faces and classify them as either wearing masks or not. During the inference phase, the trained SSD model is applied to input images or video frames. The model analyzes the detected faces and assigns a label based on the presence or absence of masks. The output includes bounding box coordinates around the detected faces, along with the corresponding mask or non-mask label. Experimental evaluations are conducted on various real-world datasets to assess the performance of the proposed method. The results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the approach, achieving high accuracy in face mask detection. © 2023 IEEE.

This research focuses on enhancing the spectral efficiency of 5G networks through the utilization of nonlinear stochastic precoding techniques. The proposed approach aims to mitigate the detrimental effects of channel impairments and noise by employing advanced precoding schemes that exploit the statistical properties of the wireless channel. By incorporating nonlinear precoding algorithms and stochastic optimization methods, the system can dynamically adapt to varying channel conditions, resulting in improved data transmission rates and overall spectral efficiency. Through extensive simulations and analysis, the effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated, showcasing its potential to significantly enhance the performance of 5G networks in real-world scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

The word energy is frequently used in MANET in both daily life and the computer industry. Reducing energy consumption and extending node lifespan are critical components of the MANET. There are many nodes available between the path and destination as the data are transferred from the source to the destination nodes. Energy can be used by the intermediate nodes during data transfer, and some energy is lost during travel to the destination. The EAC-ASR protocol (Energy Aware Clustering Aggregate Node Rotation) with sink relocation approach is suggested to be utilised in order to get over these disadvantages. There are some processes that are present in this protocol are clustering, data aggregation, mobile node rotation by swapping algorithm and sink relocation. The theoretical and simulation analyses are done and the result will be shown in the EAC-ASR protocol reduces the energy consumption and increase the energy efficiency. These days, spectrum insufficiency is the most common issue. If the number of smartphone users who access the radio spectrum grows, the radio spectrum becomes increasingly scarce. Certain types of technology equipment are designed to work only within a specific spectrum range, and there is rivalry in specifications for various other applications. As a result, this paper effectively exploits a licensed user’s unused spectrum to reduce the crowded spectrum and eradicate the Radio spectrum shortage. Licensed primary users (PUs) and secondary users (SUs) would be accepted into a Fusion Centre (FC) based on a spectrum framework with authentication. The approved PUs begin by updating their information to FC1;thenceforth, encryption is performed on the information uploaded to FC1. This information from FC1 is stored in Cloud Storage after encryption using the Blowfish algorithm & De-oxy DNA, a fast encryption algorithm. Following that, FC2, connected to the same cloud environment, downloads the PU data uploaded. The spectrum is then allocated to the authenticated SU linked to FC2 based on signal conditions and priority. This proposed method also avoids any delay in the network and encryption by acquiring a fast encryption algorithm, making the system faster and avoiding the Primary User Emulation (PUE) attack. Later, the time taken for the Tiny Encryption Algorithm (TEA) and the Blowfish/DNA algorithm are compared to validate the run time for different input images. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Facial recognition is used in biometric technology. Facial recognition is the process of using the face to recognize or verify a person's identity. It captures, analyses, and compares patterns based on a person's facial details. The task of authenticating or identifying human faces from multimedia photos is accomplished using facial recognition technology. Viola and Jones present a method capable of accurately and quickly detecting faces in images. This technology can be used to accurately detect the facial features. Face tracking technology provides better opportunities for security and surveillance. This increases the level of protection. For example, facial tracking software helps improve surveillance strategies and serves as a basis for identifying terrorists and criminals. National borders, casinos, museums, banks or prisons are other examples where this system can be used for security. This paper proposes a face detection and eye and smile recognition system with real time images, using the Haar Cascade classifier for face, eye and smile recognition. This trace is based on the jpeg/jpg file format and can be acquired from any type of camera. It works with almost all types of image formats. Its classifier will detect facial features. In this research paper a comparison is also analyzed between face and facial detection by a camera captured image and saved images. Analysis of both types of code is also being made in this research work. The document also gives the percentage of accuracy by comparing the results. Therefore, this work aims at face processing with eye and smile detection. In this article it first detects the face using a web camera and then the captured image is processed and, on the image, it detects the face, eyes and smile. © 2023 IEEE.

AttnGan – Attentional Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) is a type of GANs that is used for text to image generation. Unlike other art models, it focuses on fine-grained word level information and once the model is trained by mapping the images and the corresponding text in the dataset, the model will generate image part-by-part using the image description given by the user as an input to the model. Current paper, focuses on the conversion of text into images based on the description provided by the user. This enables them to translate their ideas in the form of text into images of their required choices. The model is initially trained by the description of the text and images and when the user provides the text as an input to the system, it is used as a testing data. By analyzing the text word-by-word, the respective images pertaining to the text is generated part-by-part by considering the text description into account. The usage of machine learning and deep learning algorithms have necessitated Artificial Intelligence'. AI is aimed at automating things by limiting human interference. It is widely used in IT, healthcare, finance, and agriculture. It is achieved through several deep learning algorithms that reflect the human brain's intelligence. These AI algorithms can be manipulated according to changing needs and improved efficiency. This paper tries to utilize the developments made in AI technology to classify the images and recognize the objects present in them. One widely used AI algorithm is CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks). The CNN is a deep learning-based algorithm that consists of various layers that extract and filters the parameters present in the images. Some additional layers of ResNet50 and the CNN algorithm are used to extract the parameters to improve image recognition accuracy. The image dataset taken for training and testing the proposed model is imageNet. The images are initially processed before sending them to the proposed model. The proposed model is trained, validated, and tested through the images obtained after the initial processing. The same process is repeated several times until getting the maximum accuracy. The accuracy of the proposed model in terms of image recognition is recorded. The obtained results are compared with other image classification algorithms like VGG16 and VGG19. Psychological disorders, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, stress, depression, and schizophrenia, are increasingly prevalent worldwide. Among these conditions, depression is particularly notable as one of the most common and debilitating neuropsychiatric disorders. Individuals with depression may be at a higher risk of developing oronary Artery Disease (CAD). Depression can contribute to poor lifestyle choices, such as unhealthy eating, lack of exercise, and smoking, which are risk factors for CAD. The emotional stress and anxiety associated with depression can strain the heart and exacerbate CAD symptoms. The relationship is not one-sided. CAD itself can be a significant source of emotional distress, leading to symptoms of depression and anxiety in affected individuals. Managing both conditions in tandem can be complicated. Treating CAD may involve medications, lifestyle modifications, and potentially surgical interventions. Meanwhile, depression often requires therapy, counseling, and medication. Coordinating care and addressing both conditions simultaneously is crucial. In our study, we investigated the molecular connections between CAD and Depression using GSE98793 and GSE20681 microarray datasets. After preprocessing, we identified key hub genes, including CCT2, SVIL, REPS2, ASPH, and UBC, in the shared ProteinProtein Interaction network. KEGG pathways linked these DEGs to colorectal and cancer pathways. Our next steps involve exploring microRNAs, TFs, and GO analysis. These findings offer promising leads for potential therapies, uniting CAD and Depression under a common molecular framework, advancing our understanding of these conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

Fingerprint identification systems play a vital role in biometric security but are often influenced by fluctuations in scanning settings and environmental variables. The conventional normalizing techniques such as Min-Max, Z-Score, and Tanh normalization provide fixed solutions that do not adjust to these variations, therefore degrading the accuracy and resilience of the results. This study presents a machine learning-based adaptive normalization system that seamlessly adapts to present circumstances by integrating contextual information, such as ambient variables and scanner-specific features, with raw fingerprint scores. The procedure includes the gathering of data, doing preprocessing, training models using decision trees, random forests, and neural networks, and implementing dynamic normalization. Comprehensive testing conducted on several scanners and settings has shown the efficacy of this method, demonstrating substantial improvements in both recognition accuracy and resilience. Assessment measures such as Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and R2 Score validate the higher efficacy of this adaptive approach in comparison to static methods, thereby improving operational adaptability and establishing a basis for wider biometric identification applications. © 2024 IEEE.
