In the world of education, especially higher education, if a lecturer wants to increase his/her rank, he/she needs some publications either in the form of journals, books, or seminar proceedings. One of publications a lecturer commonly does is a seminar both national and international seminars. K-Means Clustering (KMC) is a technique used in performing data groupings. The data classification procedure is based on the degree of membership of each member. The purpose of this study is to group the existing Provinces in Indonesia based on Population Density, School Participation Rate, Human Development Index, and Open Unemployment Rate using K-Means Clustering. Joint processing (JP) is a powerful mechanism in alleviating inter-cell interference (ICI) and maximizing data rate of cell-edge users. However, JP puts tremendous load on both feedback and backhaul overhead, thus partial JP was proposed to overcome high overhead signaling. Unlike linear techniques such as zero-forcing (ZF), achieving an equivalent backhaul reduction and presenting a totally free ICI system based on limited feedback channel state information can be done by designing and implementing a multi-start particle swarm optimization algorithm (MSPSOA) as a beamforming (BF) mechanism. The performance of the proposed MSPSOA and ZF BF is evaluated based on the acquired spectral efficiency and utility of internet application such as hard real-time, adaptive and elastic applications. The simulation results shows that, the proposed MSPSOA BF achieves spectral efficiency up to 69.5% compared to ZF BF, and it maintains total utility for high data rate requirements of three common internet traffic such as hard real-time, adaptive and elastic applications.

The steganography process combines mathematics and computer science. Steganography consists of a set of methods and techniques to embed the data into another media so that the contents are unreadable to anyone who does not have the authority to read these data. The main objective of the use of base64 method is to convert any file in order to achieve privacy. This paper discusses a steganography and encoding method using base64, which is a set of encoding schemes that convert the same binary data to the form of a series of ASCII code. Also, the EoF technique is used to embed encoding text performed by Base64. As an example, for the mechanisms a file is used to represent the texts, and by using the two methods together will increase the security level for protecting the data, this research aims to secure many types of files in a particular media with a good security and not to damage the stored files and coverage media that used.

This paper presents a system to measure accurate value of time of response (TOR) for ultrasound transducer pairs based on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). In the experiment, the transmitter is set to transmit the pulse to the target object and the reflected signal is then captured by the receiver. The time taken for the signal to travel back to the receiver is measured by TOR. FPGA technology and data acquisition system were used to generate a pulse at the transmitter site. The pulse is projected directly to the targeted object and the signal that has been reflected from the object will be captured three times by the receiver. The results show that the TOR value obtained can be calculated accurately. The best TOR found in this study is the signal capture 1 with the lowest percentage error of 0.819%.

Recent developments in miniaturized microscopes have furthered the quest to visualize brain activities and structural dynamics in animals engaged in self-determined behaviors. However, it remains an unmet challenge to resolve activity at single dendritic spines, the elemental units underlying neuronal computation, in freely-behaving animals. Here, we report the design, testing, and application of a fast, high-resolution, miniaturized two-photon microscope(FIRM-TPM) that accomplishes this goal. With a headpiece weighing 2.15 g and a new type of hollow-core photonic crystal fiber to deliver 920-nm femtosecond laser pulses, the FIRM-TPM is capable of imaging commonly used biosensors at high spatiotemporal resolution(0.64 μm laterally and 3.35 μm axially, 40 Hz at 256 × 256 pixels). Its micro-electromechanical systems scanner also enables random-access capability and free-line scanning at up to 10,000 Hz. It compares favorably with benchtop two-photon microscopy and miniature wide-field fluorescence microscopy in the structural and functional imaging of Thy1-GFP-or GCa MP6 f-labeled neurons. Further, we demonstrate its unique application and robustness with hour-long recording of neuronal activities down to the level of spines in mice experiencing vigorous body and head movements or engaging in social interaction. Thus, our new generation miniature microscope provides neuroscientists the long-sought tool-of-choice for imaging the brain at the synaptic level in freely-behaving animals.

The purpose of this research is to validate the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of e-Government implementation in Indonesia. The e-Government initiative conducted only to obey the regulation but ignoring the quality. Defining CSFs will help government agencies to avoid failure of e-Government projects. A survey with the questionnaire was used to validate the item of CSF based on expert judgment through two round of Delphi. The result showed from 67 subjects in instrument tested; there are 11 invalid items deleted and remain only 56 items that had good content validity and internal reliability. Therefore, all 56 CSFs should be adopted by government agencies in Indonesia to support e-Government implementation.
