The implementation of modern standards of higher education actualizes the problem of developing students' cognitive abilities, which leads to the need to develop an educational system, the main goal of which is the development of cognitive abilities. To design the described system and further manage it, it is necessary to solve the problem of assessing the level of development of students' cognitive abilities. This article proposes a model for a comprehensive assessment of the level of development of cognitive abilities, presents the results of electronic comprehensive study of students in the process of innovation, and draws conclusions about the applicability of the proposed model. © 2024 IEEE.

Pre-sowing treatment of sunflower seeds in a magnetic field improves its sowing qualities, plant biometrics and yield, which can be explained by increasing the rate of chemical reactions in seeds, solubility of salts and acids, permeability of cell membranes, increased transport of ions, oxygen and water. Based on the obtained analytical dependences and experimentally the regime parameters of sunflower seed treatment and their optimal values was determined: magnetic induction 0.065 T, magnetic field gradient 0.57 T/m (pole division 0.23 m), fourfold re-magnetization, seed velocity 0.4 m/s, which provides energy dose of seed treatment 3.8 J.s/kg. It is established that the change in the biopotential of sunflower seeds can determine the efficiency of their treatment in a magnetic field and determine the change in activation energy, which does not exceed 3.28 kJ/g-eq. Using the optimal parameters of sunflower seed treatment in a magnetic field, an device for pre-sowing treatment of sunflower seeds in a magnetic field was designed and manufactured, the use of which increases germination energy by 28 %, germination by 24 %, sunflower yield by 26 %. © 2022 IEEE.

Investigations of electromagnetic and electromechanical transients in an asynchronous electric drive with voltage deviation and asymmetry have been carried out. Analytical expressions are obtained that describe the transients in an asynchronous electric drive with a shock load at voltage deviation and *** the voltage decreases and asymmetries, the electromechanical constant of time increases, and as the voltage increases, electromechanical constant decreases. As a result, in drives with a small electromechanical time constant, increasing the voltage can cause torques and speed to fluctuate, while reducing and asymmetry can eliminate *** electric drives with a large moment of inertia, the transient process is aperiodic. When the voltage is higher than the nominal one, the duration of the transient process decreases, and when the voltage decreases and asymmetries, duration of the transient process *** decrease and asymmetry of the voltage causes a decrease in the steady angular speed compared to the nominal, and an increase in voltage - angular speed increase. © 2021 IEEE.

Emphasized is the requirement for search of new training technologies, conforming to the level of information-communication technologies development and meeting the requirements of up-to-date design and production technologies. Analysis has been carried out regarding functional capabilities of information technologies while forming geometro-graphical competences available in the course of basic graphical training of technical university students. Systemic use of information technologies package at different forms of studies is described. Versions of the technologies integration are demonstrated in sections of graphical training for students. Efficiency of their use is grounded. © 2018 IEEE.

In this paper the problem of geometric-graphic preparation of civil engineering students is considered. The development of the integrative educational discipline 'descriptive geometry, engineering and computer graphics', implemented within the foundation part of the higher educational specialised program 'Construction' is proposed. The prerequisites of the integrative approach in accordance with innovations in engineering design and modern requirements for the project culture of future graduates are discussed. Possible methods and pedagogical technologies for implementing the approach are considered. The manifestations of the integrative approach are shown at the innovative organization of the educational process, creating conditions for the functioning of the learning environment for the formation of professional competencies in students corresponding to the requirements of real design and engineering activities. An example of a complex task for the design of a building structure is given, the results of which allow one to assess the level of the students' competences, formed within the framework of graphic preparation.

The article deals with the reinforcement method of weak seasonally freezing soils in subgrade base by using double-cone hollow piles, tridimensional geogrid, geotextile for roads in the northern regions of the Russian Federation. The method of calculating the road base in the form of pile strip foundation of double-cone hollow piles reinforced by tridimensional geogrid and geotextile on weak heaving soils taking into account traffic loads and weight of subgrade is considered. The developed method of calculation is based on the formation of soil compaction zones in the near-pile space as a result of pile driving into the ground, which leads to an increase in the structural strength of the weak soil, and also takes the arch effect that occurs in the soil between adjacent pile heads.

The construction industry competitiveness depends on its equipping with information modeling technologies. This requires training and development of human resources. The advantages of BIM-technologies are considered. The requirements for the specialists capable of promoting information modeling technologies in the construction industry are discussed. For a wide application of BIM-technologies, the problem of training personnel with a new thinking must be solved. When preparing graduates of the major 'Construction', it is necessary to introduce innovative educational technologies aimed at building the students' ability for team work, competences in the field of modern information and communication technologies, as well as design skills basing on spatial modeling. Graphic training is the first discipline of the professional orientation for construction students. In the context of training it is important to create such learning environment that is close to a professional one. The paper provides the examples of practice-oriented assignments based on the project method in the course of students' independent work.
