The Effects of Trajectory and Endpoint Errors in a Reaching Movement on the Sense of Agency

The sense of agency (SoA) refers to the subjective feeling that an individual can control their own action with their own will. However, it is still unclear which aspects of the motor control process precisely affect the sense of agency. In this study, we investigated how the SoA is modulated by the online motor performance (trajectory error) and the outcome of the reaching movement (endpoint error). The results showed that the invalid priming and the visual feedback delay significantly increased both the trajectory and endpoint errors and that these errors significantly attenuated the SoA. The further correlation analyses showed that the decrease in SoA was significantly correlated with the trajectory error, but not with the endpoint error, when the error was explicitly noticed. We suggest that the deterioration in online motor performance, at least in a reaching movement, is the main cause of the attenuation in the SoA.

Double-cable conjugated polymers with near-infrared (NIR) electron acceptors are synthesized for use in single-component organic solar cells (SCOSCs). Through the development of a judicious synthetic pathway, the highly sensitive nature of the 2-(3-oxo-2,3-dihydroinden-1-ylidene)malononitrile (IC)-based electron acceptors in basic and protonic solvents is overcome. In addition, an asymmetric design motif is adopted to optimize the packing of donor and acceptor segments, enhancing charge separation efficiency. As such, the new double-cable polymers are successfully applied in SCOSCs, providing an efficiency of over 10 % with a broad photo response from 300 to 850 nm and exhibiting excellent thermal/light stability. These results demonstrate the powerful design of NIR-acceptor-based double-cable polymers and will enable SCOSCs to enter a new stage.

Computational technology is an important thing that needed in the whole of human life. Along with the development of computer technology, there are a significant data created and wait to be processed; we will get more advantages if it well-processed, if not we will see the data explosion, the data is just a useless stack. Research mitigates the other research paper and makes a conclusion and a report by PRISMA method. The development of computer technology will support the development of an organization. Considering any factors in choosing the right and suitable high-performance computer resource due to our organization is a must. The existing high-performance computing forms are Supercomputer, Grid Computing, Cluster Computing, and Cloud Computing. Based on this work, the last form of high-performance computing, Cloud Computing is one of the most used forms thus we mitigate its advantages and disadvantages. Recently, to process this vast data, we must have a high-performance computer and to provide it, this is not a cheap resource.

The blazar TXS 0506+056 got into the spotlight of the astrophysical community in September 2017, when a high-energy neutrino detected by IceCube (IceCube-170922A) was associated at the 3 σ level to a γ-ray flare from this source. This multi-messenger photon-neutrino association remains, as per today, the most significant one ever observed. TXS 0506+056 was a poorly studied object before the IceCube-170922A event. To better characterize its broad-band emission, we organized a multi-wavelength campaign lasting 16 months (November 2017 to February 2019), covering the radio-band (Metsähovi, OVRO), the optical/UV (ASAS-SN, KVA, REM, Swift/UVOT), the X-rays (Swift/XRT, NuSTAR), the high-energy γ rays (Fermi/LAT) and the very-high-energy (VHE) γ rays (MAGIC). In γ rays, the behaviour of the source was significantly different from the 2017 one: MAGIC observations show the presence of flaring activity during December 2018, while the source only shows an excess at the 4 σ level during the rest of the campaign (74 hours of accumulated exposure);Fermi/LAT observations show several short (days-to-week timescale) flares, different from the long-term brightening of 2017. No significant flares are detected at lower energies. The radio light curve shows an increasing flux trend, not seen in other wavelengths. We model the multi-wavelength spectral energy distributions in a lepto-hadronic scenario, in which the hadronic emission emerges as Bethe-Heitler and pion-decay cascade in the X-rays and VHE γ rays. According to the model presented here, the December 2018 γ-ray flare was connected to a neutrino emission that was too brief and not bright enough to be detected by current neutrino instruments. © 2022, CC BY.

The demand for modern multiband and wideband communication systems is *** filter architecture is widely used, and its reorganization and innovation can produce a new wideband filter. In this paper, two low-impedance stepped impedance resonators(SIRs) are strongly coupled to form an equivalent capacitor. This paper also presents a circuit that can become an inductor, a capacitor, and an inductive series resonant wide stopband bandpass filter. The center frequency of the bandpass filter is 2.3 GHz. The wide stopband frequency of the band is as high as 8.05 GHz. The center frequency can be controlled by a low-impedance capacitor when the same SIR is used in a set of architectures. In this paper, the center frequency is controlled by a 4.1 GHz series-resonant wide-stopband bandpass filter that is connected to the lower half of the transmission line. The overall circuit function becomes a wideband bandpass filter. This wideband circuit can filter up and down for a 3-dB cutoff frequency ranging from 1.9 to 4.5 GHz. The filter bandwidth is 2.6 GHz. The center frequency is 3.2 GHz.

The purpose of this paper is to design a direct downconversion system using sub-harmonic mixer with microstrip lines, it is also called a zero intermediate frequency system. By utilizing the direct conversion configuration, it can not only avoid to use an additional voltage controlled oscillator and phaselocked loop which resulted from twice down conversions so as to simplify the configuration and reduce cost, but also suppress the mirror image frequency, and thus to diminish non-linear conversion distortion and to increase the receive dynamic *** LO-RF and LO-IF isolations of sub-harmonic mixer with microstrip lines are greater than 60 dB, and the conversion loss is about 14 dB;the phase noise of VCO with spiral-shaped defected ground structure(DGS) is-96 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz. We have succeeded to develop a direct down-conversion system.

Autonomous systems are able to make decisions and potentially take actions without direct human intervention, which requires some knowledge about the system and its environment as well as goal-oriented reasoning. In computer systems, one can derive such behavior from the concept of a rational agent with autonomy (“control over its own actions”), reactivity (“react to events from the environment”), proactivity (“act on its own initiative”), and sociality (“interact with other agents”) as fundamental properties \n[1]\n. Autonomous systems will undoubtedly pervade into our everyday lives, and we will find them in a variety of domains and applications including robotics, transportation, health care, communications, and entertainment to name a few. \nThe articles in this month’s special issue cover concepts and fundamentals, architectures and techniques, and applications and case studies in the exciting area of self-awareness in autonomous systems.

This is a Work in Progress paper and will focus on the development and implementation of a software tool for engineering entrepreneurship team selection. Students working in teams is an integral part of today's engineering learning experience. Selection of students for team placement is often done manually or in some other ad hoc fashion. We present an automated software tool we call "TeamBuilder" for forming teams in the classroom, as well as for supporting forming entrepreneurial teams. Our tool incorporates factors such as the student's personality, experience, major, and gender. TeamBuilder uses the Teamology approach, which utilizes Carl Jung's personality formula, similar to the Myers-Briggs type indicator, to classify a student's primary cognitive mode. The TeamBuilder program also incorporates a student's demographic information, enabling users to better specify the team makeup. Instructors can select and prioritize the criteria for group composition and TeamBuilder automatically builds the teams. This tool allows any instructor to quickly form teams that have diversity or similarities with respect to personality type, primary cognitive modes, academic major, specific experience or expertise, and gender. With TeamBuilder, instructors can prioritize which factors are most important for the particular team exercise. TeamBuilder also offers the ability to create completely randomized student teams. This tool can support and facilitate researchers studying the effect of team composition on student learning. Instructors can even use TeamBuilder to create randomized control teams to use as comparison to teams with specific compositions. In this paper we discuss the evolution of the TeamBuilder software and its use in the entrepreneurship team formation. We provide illustrative examples of TeamBuilder in use within courses to study the effect on students' team formation preferences.
