The article describes the process of maintenance and repair of office equipment at the enterprise, which is carried out by service personnel. The article views the process of developing the software of predictive maintenance and repair of office equipment at the enterprise. Also, it is reviewed about the existing methods for monitoring networked office equipment that can be used by engineers at their workplace, and a review of existing analogs in the market. There are descriptions of the given selected methods with the help of which the solution of the main task will be achieved, the rationale for the selection of specific methods is argued. Algorithms were developed for finding networked office equipment, monitoring and forming maintenance cycles, including algorithms for recording office equipment and cartridges coming in for repair. The main diagrams are constructed showing the relationship between classes and the movement of data within the software. The general conclusions about the effectiveness of the developed algorithms and the methods chosen are given.

This work is devoted to the creation of a laboratory workshop (virtual) for open online courses based on programs of three-dimensional computer graphics and multimedia. The issues of using SolidWorks, Autodesk® 3DS MAX software in distance learning are discussed. The software was used to prepare training materials for the courses course “Machines and mechanisms theory”, “computer Graphics” and “Engineering and computer Graphics”. Using the software product SolidWorks, Autodesk ® 3DS MAX has significantly increased the visibility of the course and develop tools for organizing the independent work of students in an interactive mode.

Swarm robotics in wireless distributed protocol design for coordinating robots involved in cooperative tasks

The mine detection in an unexplored area is an optimization problem where multiple mines, randomly distributed throughout an area, need to be discovered and disarmed in a minimum amount of time. We propose a strategy to explore an unknown area, using a stigmergy approach based on ants behavior, and a novel swarm based protocol to recruit and coordinate robots for disarming the mines cooperatively. Simulation tests are presented to show the effectiveness of our proposed Ant-based Task Robot Coordination (ATRC) with only the exploration task and with both exploration and recruiting strategies. Multiple minimization objectives have been considered: the robots' recruiting time and the overall area exploration time. We discuss, through simulation, different cases under different network and field conditions, performed by the robots. The results have shown that the proposed decentralized approaches enable the swarm of robots to perform cooperative tasks intelligently without any central control.90C30, 68T40 Copyright © 2018, The Authors. For measuring the rotation engine vibration signals, the mechanical or acoustical sensors are dif-ficult to get the clean signals from the heavy background noise of the machinery environment. The noise reduction algorithm may anticipate to decrease the background noise without disturbing the unpolluted signal. The spectral subtraction methods for noise attenuation case are reached for many years due to its simple and effectively. In this paper, the proposed algorithm incorporates the multiscale spectral subtraction method (MSS) with voice activity detector (VAD) and sup-ports vector machine (SVM) for removing the background noise, since SVM can be required for distinguishing a multivariate signal into separated subcomponents. From the analysis case for the rotating machinery, MSS shows that the low frequency with their harmonics frequencies can be tracked through the clustering of the data from SVM. The present method is helpful in background noise and signal compartmentalization as its application can significantly lower the requirement for labelled training cases in both the inductive noise and wanted signals.

Thanks to a number of achievements in the field of thermoelectricity interest in the use of thermoelectricity for the generation of electric energy was renewed. To solve a number of important problems, such as: generation and distribution of energy produced; optimization and rational distribution of capital costs in the construction sector, autonomous power supply systems are used, the core of which is a thermoelectric generator (TEG). Such interest is caused by the fact that such installations are the most economical due to additional generation of electric power and allow drastically reducing fuel consumption. However, the calculation of thermoelectric devices is accompanied by the difficulties, associated with the dependence of electrical and thermal parameters, little attention is paid in scientific publications to a detailed description of heat transfer processes through the nodes of a thermoelectric device, to estimates of the heat of cold / hot coolants and their effect on the operating mode of an autonomous power supply system. The article offers theoretical foundations for calculating the parameters of power plants for autonomous power supply systems and the method of automated calculation of parameters using automated systems for searching technical solutions at the stage of TEG search design.

Industry 4.0 is initiated by the German government as a high level technology strategy in order to keep Germany in a global leading position in manufacturing, also intends to solve energy and aging issues in parallel. Germany has proposed the “Reference Architecture Model Industries 4.0” which is based on the regulations published by the International Electrotechnical Commission. The manifestation of Industry 4.0 can be achieved by the realization of digital factory. And it's emphasized on total integration with Cyber Physical system as its core technology, via Internet of Things to realize the operational environment of human machine interaction, and the utilization of Big Data for decision making. The research motivation of this thesis is to utilize Totally Integrated Automation Portal as a digital factory software development platform, to achieve the fundamental educational requirements of digital factory, and to understand Industry 4.0 concept. Methodology of this research is based on a set of experimental and training mechanism, the sequence of machine movements is controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller, and this PLC has to be complied with IEC61131 International Standard. Regarding communication technology also to be complied with IEC61158 and IEC62541 e.g. PROFINET and OPC UA protocol. And finally realizing the operational environment of human machine interaction via smart phone according to the outcome of this research, it has been shown that total integration concept can be realized by single production machine. By standardization of factory environment and increasing the level of operational environment of human machine interaction, productivity and quality of production could be significantly increased. PLC could be used to analyze intelligent platform and comply with the Industry 4.0 standard at the same time.

The gear honing is the most economical way for hard finishing an involute helical gear after hobbing and heat treatment or after shaving and heat treatmentThe gear honing can also be applied to the modification of gear tooth surfaces to compensate for the distortions that occur during heat treatment processMost published papers on the technology of gear honing describes on the principle of generated gear surfaceHowever, the longitudinal tooth flank crowning of a helical gear with honing has not been investigated yetTherefore, in this paper, we proposed a novel method for longitudinal tooth flank crowning of work gear surfaces by setting a crossed angle between the honing cutter and work gear axes as a linear function of honing cutter's traverse feed in the honing processA mathematical model for the tooth profile of work gear honed by a standard honing cutter is also establishedThree numeral examples are presented to illustrate and verify the merits of the proposed gear honing method in longitudinal crowning.
