In this research we implement a system to monitor student attendance at South Ural State University. Our system is based on the automatic recognition of students' faces using neural networks. In this paper, we investigate the process, methods and algorithms of face recognition to build a student attendance control system that allows to easily add a new person to the system without additional training of neural networks within the system. In working, we identified and studied the parameters that reduce the efficiency of the recognition, as well as equipping our system with algorithms that reduce the negative impact of these parameters. We conducted experiments that prove the effectiveness of our solution. © 2021 IEEE.

Traditional practices of education, medicine, and economics often use collective expert methods to find acceptable solutions to complex issues. The computer model of such methods is an ensemble classification which combines prediction of a number base classifier trained by various machine learning techniques. The predictive sample in the educational process is always not balanced-it leads to a shift in estimates. The basic idea of this work is that the binary forecasting on unbalanced datasets is carried out by a Meta-classifier-an ensemble of different classification algorithm (Decision tree J48, Naive base NB, Multilayer perception MLP, k-Neighbour Nearest k-NN and Support Vector Machine SVM) which trained by stacking, bagging and boosting procedures on SMOTE, RUS, ROS balanced samples. The experiments conducted on moderately unbalanced dataset of 350 tuples of student data with using simple voting Meta-ensemble models, show that the best overall accuracy A and F1 measure of minority class were achieved by the Meta-ensembles containing 5-15 members classifiers trained on samples prepared by *** is also proposed that these of Meta-ensembles can be used to resolve quantification learning problem-novel task to predict collective performance. As in our recent works the deterministic outputs of Meta-ensemble members can be transformed to probabilistic outputs and then to prediction of class frequency. After analyzing the results of quantification, it becomes obvious that the most optimal design of the meta-ensembles is to collect pre-boosted classifiers trained on the SMOTE sample. © 2020 IEEE.

This work presents a practical approach of designing a functionally safe ECU for automotive application by implementing the Model Based Development (MBD) methodology. Functional safety (FuSa) in automotive can be achieved by strictly following the processes of electrical and electronic systems development as given in the ISO 26262. The scope of FuSa encompasses the risks emerging from systematic failures and random hardware failures. One approach to mitigate these failures is the Model Based Development (MBD) on which the ISO 26262 provides guidance. This approach enables to model an ECU and accelerates an IP creation by automatic RTL code generation for rapid prototyping on an FPGA level. In this work the MBD is implemented in accordance to the ISO 26262 to design and test a hardware model of an embedded ECU. The embedded Design under Test (DUT) is simulated and its output verified in Matlab/Simulink. Upon successful results, the RTL codes of the DUT are generated for a target FPGA. The RTL codes are simulated and the functionality of the DUT is verified at the FPGA level. © 2023 IEEE.

Distinguishing sequences are used in model based mutation testing in order to distinguish the specification from its mutants that usually represent critical implementation faults. In this paper, we consider distinguishing sequences for Input/Output automata when a sequence of inputs can be applied before getting any response or a sequence of output responses from an implementation under test. We propose a technique for deriving an r- distinguishing trace, i.e. a distinguishing trace with respect to the trace inclusion (quasi-reduction) relation, and obtain the least and upper bounds on the length of a shortest r- distinguishing trace showing that the exponential upper bound with respect to the number of states of the specification automaton is reachable;the results are then adapted for a proper case of Input/Output automata when each input is followed by an output, i.e., for Finite State Machines. © 2019 IEEE.

The paper investigates the implementation of virtual networks on the SDN data plane, modeled by a graph of physical connections between network nodes. A virtual network is defined as a set of ordered host pairs (sender, receiver), and it is implemented by a set of host-host paths that uniquely determine the switch settings. It is shown that any set of host pairs can be implemented on a connected graph without the occurrence of an infinite transfer of packets in a loop and without duplicate paths when the host receives the same packet several times. However, undesired paths may occur when a host receives a packet that is not intended for this host. On the other hand, it is shown that in some cases, implementation without undesired paths inevitably leads to duplication or looping of packets. The question is posed: on which graph can any set of host pairs be implemented without looping, duplication and undesired paths? A sufficient condition is proposed and a hypothesis is put that this condition is also the necessary condition. © 2020 IEEE.

The aim of this study is the development of the method of generating and filling the template of ontology for the quality of the concrete software and method of forming the logical conclusion about the sufficiency of information of software requirements specification (SRS) for software quality assessment (by ISO 25010:2011). The first time proposed method of generating and filling the template of ontology for the quality of the concrete software leaves in the relevant ontology only measures, which are available in the SRS for the concrete software. It provides forming the ontology for the quality of the concrete software. The first time developed method of forming the logical conclusion about the sufficiency of the SRS information for software quality assessment provides the conclusion about the sufficiency or insufficiency of the SRS information for software quality assessment by ISO 25010:2011. If the SRS information is insufficient, this method: provides the conclusion for which characteristics and sub-characteristics the information is insufficient;creates the sorted list of missing measures as the recommended priority of their addition in the SRS;evaluates the veracity of software quality assessment based on the available in the SRS measures. © 2017 IEEE.

Building a system to forecast Covid-19 infected cases is of great importance at the present time, so in this article, we present two systems to forecast cumulative Covid-19 infected cases. The first system (DLM-system) is based on deep learning models, which include both long short-term memory (LSTM), bidirectional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM), and Gated recurrent unit (GRU). The second system is a (TS-system) based on time series models and neural networks, with a Prioritizer for models and weights for time series models acting as an ensemble between them. We did a comparison between them in order to choose the best system to forecast cumulative Covid-19 infected cases, using the example of 7 countries. As some of them have finished the second wave and others have finished the third wave of infections (Russia, the United States of America, France, Poland, Turkey, Italy, and Spain). The criterion for choosing the best model is MAPE. It is a percentage, not an absolute value. It was concluded that an ensemble method gave the smallest errors compared to the errors of the models in the (TS-system). © 2021, IFIP International Federation for Information Processing.

Input/Output (I/O) automata are widely used when deriving high quality tests for (components of) complex discrete systems based on so called distinguishing sequences. For I/O automata, the number of distinguishability relations is much bigger than for classical deterministic Finite State Machines (FSM). In order to avoid submitting the same test sequence several number of times, i.e., avoid the "all weather conditions"assumption, the separability relation can be considered. If two Input/Output automata are separable then there exists an input sequence such that after submitting this sequence and observing produced outputs it can be uniquely concluded which automaton is under testing. In this paper, we modify the discipline of applying input sequences and discuss the derivation of separating sequences for automata with mixed states, i.e., states where transitions both under inputs and under outputs are defined, as well as with cycles labeled by outputs. We also illustrate how an adaptive separating sequence can be derived when both automata are input-enabled. © 2020 IEEE.

A new approach for the botnet detection based on multi-agent system is proposed. For increasing of the efficiency of botnet detection the multi-agent system was involved that allowed to make botnet detection via agents' communication within corporate network. A new technique with the usage of fuzzy and neural-fuzzy systems that makes the conclusion about botnet presence degree in computer systems is developed. The analysis of the botnets' actions demonstrations in the situation of the intentionally computer system reconnection is performed. It takes into account the botnet demonstrations in the several computer systems which are available in the network. © 2013 IEEE.
