Due to the short life cycles of electronic products, trial run lots of new products are crucial in IC packaging for production verification and engineering adjustments. The processing time of trial run lots may differ significantly from production lots due to engineering adjustments and is difficult to predict without sufficient historical data. The purpose of this letter is to develop a framework for near-optimal scheduling of IC packaging considering processing time variations and factory practices. Using an orthogonal greedy algorithm and recurrent neural network, this framework extracts key features and predicts the processing times of trial run lots and production lots for each operation using these algorithms. After formulating the scheduling problem in an integer linear programming form, an ordinal optimization method is embedded within the decomposition and coordination framework to obtain dynamic and near-optimal schedules in a computationally efficient manner. This approach can improve the efficiency of IC packaging and potentially other operations by optimizing lot scheduling, reducing production tardiness, and increasing productivity in the factory, paving the way for self-optimizing factories in the future. © 2016 IEEE.

Pulsed electromagnetic (EM) field signal transfer from a general EM source distribution to a transmission line (TL) is analyzed with the aid of Lorentz’s reciprocity theorem. In this fashion, the transient voltage induced by the impulsive EM source is expressed through the EM fields as radiated by the TL. These transmitted EM fields are expressed in closed form using an analytical procedure that resembles the Cagniard-De Hoop (CdH) technique. The validity of the proposed reciprocity-based methodology is verified with the aid of an alternative analytical solution describing the EM field signal transfer excited by an impulsive vertical electric dipole (VED). Illustrative numerical examples are presented. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

A substitution box(S-Box)is a crucial component of contemporary cryptosystems that provide data protection in block *** the moment,chaotic maps are being created and extensively used to generate these SBoxes as a chaotic map assists in providing disorder and resistance to combat cryptanalytical *** this paper,the construction of a dynamic S-Box using a cipher key is proposed using a novel chaotic map and an innovative tweaking *** projected chaotic map and the proposed tweak approach are presented for the first time and the use of parameters in their workingmakes both of these dynamic in *** tweak approach employs cubic polynomials while permuting the values of an initial S-Box to enhance its cryptographic *** of the parameters are provided using the cipher key and a small variation in values of these parameters results in a completely different unique *** analysis and exploration confirmed that the projected chaoticmap exhibits a significant amount of chaotic *** security assessment in terms of bijectivity,nonlinearity,bits independence,strict avalanche,linear approximation probability,and differential probability criteria are utilized to critically investigate the effectiveness of the proposed S-Box against several *** proposed S-Box’s cryptographic performance is comparable to those of recently projected S-Boxes for its adaption in real-world security *** comparative scrutiny pacifies the genuine potential of the proposed S-Box in terms of its applicability for data security.

Increasingly available ultrastructural data from a continuously growing diversity of experimental conditions are driving new opportunities for fruitful neuroscientific hypotheses tested in intracellular compartments such as the nanoscale roles of, e.g., the mitochondria. Reliable morphological statistics are based on achieving highly accurate semantic segmentations of EM images. The state-of-the-art deep CNNs can be somewhat brittle;they tend to provide coarse and high-frequency-oscillatory solutions with discontinuities and false positives even for simple mitochondria segmentation. Historically, the current state-of-the-art in medical image segmentation would involve some variant of the encoder-decoder architecture, such as the U-Net architecture. The SAM does not perform as well, since it has not been explicitly trained for the task and does not demonstrate user-interactive, over one billion annotations mostly for natural images. However, the SAM may be applied to segment anything, including medical image segmentation challenging new datasets. This work is aimed at the difficult task of implementing domain adaptation in mitochondria segmentation within EM images obtained from various tissues and species, using deep learning. We do a systematic study to assess SAM's ability to perform segmentation in medical images, measure its performance on volumetric EM datasets, and show that it is powerful at segmenting instances even under challenging imaging conditions. We provide a fine-tuning SAM which can be naturally trained by SAM at an exemplary scale, benefiting from a diverse and large dataset over one million image masks in 11 modalities. This model would be able to perform precise segmentation for a wide range of targets under various imaging conditions, at the level of performance of specialized U-Net models, or even better. Various software and systems engineering scenarios rely on the systematic construction of consistent graph models. However, automatically generating a diverse set of consistent graph models for complex domain specifications is challenging. First, the graph generation problem must be specified with mathematical precision. Moreover, graph generation is a computationally complex task, which necessitates specialized logic solvers. Refinery is a novel open-source software framework to automatically synthesize a diverse set of consistent domain-specific graph models. The framework offers an expressive high-level specification language using partial models to succinctly formulate a wide range of graph generation challenges. Moreover, it provides a modern cloud-based architecture for a scalable graph solver as a service, which uses logic reasoning rules to efficiently synthesize a diverse set of solutions to graph generation problems by partial model refinement. Knowledge-Driven Possibilistic Clustering with Automatic Cluster Elimination
