In this paper, we propose a low complexity MU(multi-user)-MIMO precoding method and show ASIP (application specific instruction-set processor) implementation results of both CSI (channel state information) feedback and our precoding method. To realize DL(downlink)-MU-MIMO transmission, the MU-MIMO precoding and CSI feedback are required in AP (access point) and STA (station) respectively for canceling IUI (interuser interference). However, conventional IBD (iterative block diagonalization) precoding has a high computational complexity problem. Therefore, we propose an LC(low complexity)-IBD precoding method whose complexity is reduced by using null vectors from CSI decompression process. The implementation results show that our precoder can reduce computational complexity and latency.

Electrocatalytic CO 2 conversion into fuel is a prospective strategy for the sustainable energy production. However, still many parts of the catalyst such as low catalytic activity, selectivity, and stability are challenging. Herein, a hierarchical hexagonal Zn catalyst showed highly efficient and, more importantly, stable performance as an electrocatalyst for selectively producing CO. Moreover, we found that its high selectivity for CO is attributed to morphology. In electrochemical analysis, Zn (101) facet is favorable to CO formation whereas Zn (002) facet favors the H 2 evolution during CO 2 electrolysis. Indeed, DFT calculations showed that (101) facet lowers a reduction potential for CO 2 to CO by more effectively stabilizing a . COOH intermediate than (002) facet. This further suggests that tuning the crystal structure to control (101)/(002) facet ratio of Zn can be considered as a key design principle to achieve a desirable product from Zn catalyst.

Dynamic operation of voltage regulator (VR) has been proposed for voltage regulation in a distribution system with large integration of distributed generators (DGs). In conventional voltage control, VR's tap operation is adjusted based on the local bus voltage or voltage at load center. When considerable DGs are interconnected, voltage profile and power flow are not same as that of with conventional distribution system, at some instant reverse power flow may exist at the end of the distribution line or at VR. Thus there are possibilities of having voltage violation due to improper tap operation of VRs. This paper proposes a new method to determine line drop compensation (LDC) parameters based on the estimated current at VR. Voltage regulating point is shifted along the distribution line so that proper tap operation of VR is carried out to retain voltage regulation. It is found from the analysis that voltage violation is significantly reduced by the proposed method in comparison with conventional method.
