Data clustering is crucial when it comes to data processing and *** new clustering method overcomes the challenge of evaluating and extracting data from big *** or categorical data can be *** clustering methods favor numerical data clustering and ignore categorical data *** recently,the only way to cluster categorical data was to convert it to a numeric representation and then cluster it using current numeric clustering ***,these algorithms could not use the concept of categorical data for *** that,suggestions for expanding traditional categorical data processing methods were *** addition to expansions,several new clustering methods and extensions have been proposed in recent *** is an adaptable and straightforward algorithm for calculating the similarity between data sets to cluster *** paper aims to modify the algo-rithm by creating a parameterized version that takes specific algorithm parameters as input and outputs satisfactory cluster *** parameterized ROCK algorithm is the name given to the modified algorithm(P-ROCK).The proposed modification makes the original algorithm moreflexible by using user-defined parameters.A detailed hypothesis was developed later validated with experimental results on real-world datasets using our proposed P-ROCK algorithm.A comparison with the original ROCK algorithm is also *** results show that the proposed algorithm is on par with the original ROCK algorithm with an accuracy of 97.9%.The proposed P-ROCK algorithm has improved the runtime and is moreflexible and scalable.

The secure authentication of user data is crucial in various sectors, including digital banking, medical applications and e-governance, especially for images. Secure communication protects against data tampering and forgery, thereby bolstering the foundation for informed decision-making, whether managing traffic, enhancing public safety, or monitoring environmental conditions. Conventional visual cryptographic protocols offer solutions, particularly for color images, though they grapple with challenges such as high computational demands and reliance on multiple cover images. Additionally, they often require third-party authorization to verify the image integrity. On the other hand, visual cryptography offers a streamlined approach. It divides images into shares, where each pixel represented uniquely, thus allowing visual decryption without complex computations. The optimized multi-tiered authentication protocol (OMTAP), which is integrated with the visual sharing scheme (VSS), takes secure image sharing to the next level. It reduces share count, prioritizes image fidelity and transmission security, and introduces the self-verification of decrypted image integrity through asymmetric key matrix generators, thus eliminating external validation. Rigorous testing has confirmed OMTAP's robustness and broad applicability, thereby ensuring that decrypted images maintain their quality with a peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) of 40 dB and full integrity at the receiver's end. © 2024 American Institute of Mathematical sciences. Multiphoton microscopy (MPM) provides high-resolution imaging of deep tissue structures while allowing for the visualization of non-labeled biological samples. However, photon generation efficiency of intrinsic biomarkers is low and this, coupled with inherent detection inaccuracies in the photoelectric sensors, leads to an introduction of noise in acquired images. Higher dwelling times can reduce noise but increase the likelihood of photobleaching. To combat this, deep learning methods are being increasingly employed to denoise MPM images, allowing for a more efficient and less invasive process. However, machine learning models can hallucinate information, which is unacceptable for critical scientific microscopy applications. Uncertainty quantification, which has been demonstrated for image-to-image regression tasks, can provide confidence bounds for machine learning-based image reconstruction tasks, adding confidence to predictions. In this work, we discuss incorporating uncertainty quantification into an optimized denoising model to guide adaptive multiphoton microscopy image acquisition. We demonstrate that our method is capable of maintaining fine features in the denoised image, while outperforming other denoising methods by adaptively selecting to reimage the most uncertain pixels in a human endometrium tissue sample. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. Background: The intricate architecture of container orchestration systems like Kubernetes relies on the critical role of declarative manifest files that serve as the blueprints for orchestration. However, managing these manifest files often presents complex challenges requiring significant DevOps expertise. Methodology: This position paper explores using Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate the generation of Kubernetes manifest files through natural language specifications and prompt engineering, aiming to simplify Kubernetes management. The study evaluates these LLMs using Zero-Shot, Few-Shot, and Prompt-Chaining techniques against DevOps requirements and the ability to support fully automated deployment pipelines. Results show that LLMs can produce Kubernetes manifests with varying degrees of manual intervention, with GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 showing potential for fully automated deployments. Interestingly, smaller models sometimes outperform larger ones, questioning the assumption that bigger is always better. Conclusion: The study emphasizes that prompt engineering is critical to optimizing LLM outputs for Kubernetes. It suggests further research into prompt strategies and LLM comparisons and highlights a promising research direction for integrating LLMs into automatic deployment pipelines. © 2024 by SCITEPRESS – science and Technology Publications, Lda.

This paper introduces a novel telehealth communication system, designed to enhance the security and integrity of medical data exchange. In the rapidly evolving digital healthcare landscape, the protection of sensitive patient information is paramount. To address this, our system uniquely combines quantum cryptography, specifically the BB84 protocol, with blockchain technology, offering a dual-layered security framework. The Quantum Layer, underpinned by the BB84 protocol, establishes quantum-secure communication channels, effectively encrypting data exchanges between patients, doctors, and hospitals. This layer guarantees that medical information remains confidential and safe from potential quantum-level eavesdropping threats. The subsequent Blockchain Layer further strengthens the system by storing these encrypted communications in an immutable blockchain ledger. This approach not only secures the data against unauthorized alterations but also provides a transparent and permanent record of all transactions, thereby enhancing the auditability of medical communications. © 2024 IEEE.

We present an algorithm for computing the minimum-rank positive semidefinite completion of a sparse matrix with a chordal sparsity pattern. This problem is tractable, in contrast to the minimumrank positive semidefinite completion problem for general sparsity patterns. We also present a similar algorithm for the Euclidean distance matrix completion with minimum embedding dimension. The two algorithms use efficient recursions over a clique tree associated with the chordal sparsity pattern. As an application, we use the minimum-rank completion method as a rounding technique to convert the solution of a sparse semidefinite optimization problem with non-unique solutions to an optimal solution of lower rank. In experiments with semidefinite relaxations of optimal power flow problems, the minimum-rank completion often results in solutions of lower rank than the solutions computed by interior-point solvers. ©2023 applied Set-Valued Analysis and Optimization.

Wavefront shaping allows focusing light through or inside strongly scattering media, but the background intensity also increases which reduces the target’s contrast. By combining transmission or deposition matrices for different regions, we construct joint operators to achieve spatially resolved control of light in diffusive systems. The eigenmode of a contrast operator can maximize the power contrast between a target and its surrounding. A difference operator enhances the power delivery to a target while avoiding the background increase. This work opens the door to coherent control of nonlocal effects in wave transport for practical applications.

We study a temporal step size control of explicit Runge-Kutta(RK)methods for com-pressible computational fluid dynamics(CFD),including the Navier-Stokes equations and hyperbolic systems of conservation laws such as the Euler *** demonstrate that error-based approaches are convenient in a wide range of applications and compare them to more classical step size control based on a Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy(CFL)*** numerical examples show that the error-based step size control is easy to use,robust,and efficient,e.g.,for(initial)transient periods,complex geometries,nonlinear shock captur-ing approaches,and schemes that use nonlinear entropy *** demonstrate these properties for problems ranging from well-understood academic test cases to industrially relevant large-scale computations with two disjoint code bases,the open source Julia pack-ages *** with *** and the C/Fortran code SSDC based on PETSc.
