Gas turbine engines must be operated by means of control,and how to achieve multivariable control decoupling with aero-engine control constraints is an open thorny issue attracting increasingly more *** paper considers the multivariable decoupling problems of aero-engines by using a compound controller,which originates from the fact that it is impossible to eliminate all the nonlinear dynamics of system to obtain desired constant linear closed-loop system by using full actuated control because of modeling errors and some physical *** controllers are involved in the compound *** is a fully actuated controller and the other is classical feedback *** order to use fully actuated control and maintain the accuracy of engine model,a full state scheduling linear parameter-varying(LPV)modeling method is proposed based on fuzzy neural network *** a general input matrix of the system,its generalized inverse is applied to design fully actuated controller to result in a pseudolinear *** with a feedback controller and control limiter,the control synthesis is *** simulation shows that the proposed method is possessed of a better decoupling and tracking effect compared with traditional control approach.

Accurate soil prediction is a vital parameter involved to decide appro-priate crop,which is commonly carried out by the *** an auto-mated soil prediction tool helps to considerably improve the efﬁcacy of the *** the same time,fuzzy logic(FL)approaches can be used for the design of predictive models,particularly,Fuzzy Cognitive Maps(FCMs)have involved the concept of uncertainty representation and cognitive *** other words,the FCM is an integration of the recurrent neural network(RNN)and FL involved in the knowledge engineering *** this aspect,this paper introduces effective fuzzy cognitive maps with cat swarm optimization for automated soil classiﬁca-tion(FCMCSO-ASC)*** goal of the FCMCSO-ASC technique is to identify and categorize seven different types of *** accomplish this,the FCMCSO-ASC technique incorporates local diagonal extrema pattern(LDEP)as a feature extractor for producing a collection of feature *** addition,the FCMCSO model is applied for soil classiﬁcation and the weight values of the FCM model are optimally adjusted by the use of CSO *** exam-ining the enhanced soil classiﬁcation outcomes of the FCMCSO-ASC technique,a series of simulations were carried out on benchmark dataset and the experimen-tal outcomes reported the enhanced performance of the FCMCSO-ASC technique over the recent techniques with maximum accuracy of 96.84%.

The waste and wash waters from vegetable and fruits process industry are categorized with solids and organic component which needs treatment for meeting regular standards in use. Every treatment is assigned with minimizing postponed solids, whole phosphorus, biochemical, chemical oxygen and nitrogen demanded. From produced data, that is probable for developing prediction model to every tested water treatment. The methods for predicting post treatment water quality and created by Improved Multiple Linear Regression (IMLR), that is enhanced through Generalized Structure of Group Method in data handling methods (GSGMDH). The selection of IMLR and generalized architecture of group technique of data handling methods because of capability of methods for generating equations to utilize. The huge variability and difficult nature of waste water quality parameters are difficult in representing linear methods, but it is perfectly matched for group model of data handling method. The method provided an significant tool for end user in choosing correct treatment depended on actual characteristics of waste water and needed standards for treating waste. © 2024 IEEE.

Expression of Tumor necrotic factor-alpha (TNF-α) with diffused mucosal inflammation in the colon are major symptom of chronic ulcerative colitis (UC), which alternates between exacerbations and remissions. As a result of reports that Triticum aestivum(TA) has anti-inflammatory properties, this study uses male Wistar rats to assess the potential for amelioration of ulcerative colitis brought on by acetic acid usage. A total of thirty male Wistar rats were randomly assigned to five groups: group 1 (control), group II(ulcerative colitis), and groups III, IV, as well as V received aqueous Triticum Aestivum at doses of 50 mg/kg, 100 mg/kg, and 200 mg/kg for a period of two weeks. 6% acetic acid was used to induce ulcerative colitis in groups II, III, IV, and V following TA administrations in groups III, IV, and V. Observations were taken on days 3 and 7 as healing progressed and animals were euthanized under anesthesia. We measured weight change, colon weight-length ratio, and colon relative weight. Hematological and biochemical parameters were investigated. Gross morphology and histological analysis were evaluated. When TA was administered, the colon's weight, weight-length ratio, and proportional weight all decreased but the RBC counts and hemoglobin level dramatically increased. The colitis score, TNF-α, and MDA levels decreased significantly in treated groups compared to the colitis model. In addition, protein and nitric oxide levels rose significantly upon treatment with Triticum aestivum. The histology examinations revealed the severity of the colonic mucosa ulceration in the ulcerative colitis control, which was attenuated in the treated groups with mild infiltration of inflammatory cells seen. Triticum aestivum exhibited powerful anti-inflammatory properties by abating TNF-α, and MDA levels, and enhancing the healing of the colon. © 2024 IEEE.

Bounded single depot multiple travelling salesman problem (BSD-MTSP) optimizes salesmen tours with constraints on the number of cities visiting per salesman, which ensures balanced routes. BSD-MTSP presents challenges due to its combinatorial nature and additional complexities arising from multiple salesmen and depot-related constraints. Exact solutions for BSD-MTSP via classical methods are computationally expensive, prompting the use of heuristics and metaheuristics for practical solutions. This paper presents ACSLs, a hybrid algorithm combining initialization heuristic, Ant colony system, and Local search operators. ACSLs efficiently tackles large-scale BSD-MTSPs, demonstrating a superiority of up to 9.964% over the most advanced algorithms through comparative analysis.

Graph-based multi-view clustering is a popular method for identifying informative graphs for e.g. computer vision applications. Nevertheless, optimizing sparsity and connectivity simultaneously is challenging. Multi-view clustering (MC) integrates complementary information from different views. However, most existing methods introduce noise or ignore relevant data structures. This paper introduces a Joint multiple efficient neighbors and Graph (JMEG) learning method for MC. Our approach includes a post-processing technique to optimize sparsity and connectivity by means of identifying neighbors efficiently. JMEG also uses partition space and consensus graph learning to uncover data structures efficiently. Experiments show that JMEG outperforms state-of-the-art methods with negligible additional computation cost. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

Approximate Analytical Solution Using Power Series Method for the Propagation of Blast Waves in a Rotational Axisymmetric Non-Ideal Gas

In this paper, the propagation of the blast (shock) waves in non-ideal gas atmosphere in rotational medium is studied using a power series method in cylindrical geometry. The flow variables are assumed to be varying according to the power law in the undisturbed medium with distance from the symmetry axis. To obtain the similarity solution, the initial density is considered as constant in the undisturbed medium. Approximate analytical solutions are obtained using Sakurai's method by extending the power series of the flow variables in power of (a_0)^2, where U and a_0 are the speeds of the shock and sound, respectively, in undisturbed fluid. The strong shock wave is considered for the ratio (a_0)^2 which is considered to be a small quantity. With the aid of that method, the closed-form solutions for the zeroth-order approximation is given as well as first-order approximate solutions are discussed. Also, with the help of graphs behind the blast wave for the zeroth-order approximation, the distributions of variables such as density, radial velocity, pressure and azimuthal fluid velocity are analyzed. The results for the rotationally axisymmetric non-ideal gas environment are compared to those for the ideal gas atmosphere. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The most crucial public concern regarding health is elderly people's falls which tend to undesirable injuries leading to an increase in healthcare expenses for them. This research paper describes a method that uses AI technology with a barometer sensor to detect falls in elderly people. In addition to this, the AI model is trained on a diverse dataset comprising various activities of daily living, enabling it to distinguish between normal movements and those that may lead to falls. This method probably gives some notifications or missed calls to the caretakers as well as to the hospitals. When compared to many more sensors such as gyroscopes and some fitness trackers, the Apple Watch 4, and Samsung Gear S3 barometer sensor perform in a better better way. Key performance metrics such as absolute and altitude are calculated and compared based on a natural language processing (NLP) algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

Timely and accurate detection of plant diseases is critical for sustainable crop production. This paper presents a comparative analysis of convolutional neural network (CNN) models for automated tomato leaf disease detection, including VGG16, VGG19, AlexNet and Google Net. A dataset of tomato leaf images with multiple disease types was utilized to train and test the performance of each CNN architecture. Our results demonstrate that the VGG16 model achieved the highest accuracy of 99.38% in classifying tomato leaf diseases. Compared to AlexNet and VGG19 models which obtained 98.67% and 99.29% accuracy respectively, the superior performance of VGG16 highlights its suitability for deploying robust tomato disease detection systems to enable prompt disease control interventions. Our work provides valuable insights on harnessing deep learning for agricultural disease surveillance, allowing farmers and agronomists to identify crop infections early and implement timely management practices to reduce yield losses. © 2024 IEEE.
