In the era of the knowledge-based economy, the active branch of information technology plays a crucial role. The enterprise administration covers efficient changes, and it has been entered in the age of reasonable management argument. The standard enterprise financial review evaluation centers on the importance of bondholders. The investor takes operational data as an issue and pays surveillance to the study of material attraction and the result. Otherwise, it is not intelligent to adjust in a modern marketplace period. Therefore, enterprise financial directing the interests of shareholders and business policies that are taking into account stakeholders' needs is continually investigated in the future lively competition. In that view, accumulating data is an essential research tool to draw the researchers' recent attention during the knowledge investigation. In this research, multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) approach has been proposed for the enterprise financial performance evaluation. To this view, financial performance evaluation has been done with intuitionistic fuzzy arguments. We apply new Dombi hybrid operators such as the intuitionistic fuzzy Dombi hybrid average (IFDHWA) operator and intuitionistic fuzzy Dombi hybrid geometric (IFDHWG) operator. These operators have a good advantage of adaptability in the working parameter. Finally, a realistic instance for enterprise financial performance is reported following comment on the benefit or utility of the recommended output. © 2021 Chiranjibe Jana et al.

Heart disease, known as cardiovascular disease has been one of the main causes of death worldwide in recent years. It is affected by various risk factors such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, obesity, physical inactivity, etc. In this study, Cleveland database of UCI repository of heart disease patients is used. The dataset includes 303 instances and 76 variables which of 14 variables are considered. At first, three different feature selection techniques, namely LASSO, Elastic Net and Adaptive LASSO under specific tuning parameters determined by cross-validation, are applied to reduce the number of independent variables used for the prediction. Then, five different classification techniques, K-nearest neighbor, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and Logistic Regression are performed to predict heart disease. Performances of these methods are measured by different metrics, such as accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and Matthew correlation coefficient. © Proceedings of the 17th International Symposium on Operational Research in Slovenia, SOR 2023. The aggregation operator is a popular tool for dealing with multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems. An MCDM technique based on the modified picture fuzzy weighted geometric operator (MPFWGO) is proposed in this article. First, the drawbacks of various existing picture fuzzyweighted geometric aggregation operators (PFWGOs) that lead to imprecise outcomes in some exceptional instances are investigated. Second, an MPFWGO is proposed to address the shortcomings of existing PFWGOs. Furthermore, the suggested MPFWGO's properties such as idempotency, boundedness, monotonicity, and commutativity are explored. Numerical examples demonstrate that our proposed operator and corresponding MCDM approach are efficient and reasonable enough to prevent ambiguous results in exceptional instances. Finally, we applied the proposed method to rank the World Health Organization (WHO) regions for air pollution control. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this paper, a delayed predator-prey model has been developed. Here, on the basis of infectious disease, the prey population has been divided into two sub-populations such as (i) susceptible prey and (ii) infected prey population. It is also assumed that a predator may consume both susceptible prey as well as infected prey. Also here, the Crowley-Martin type functional form has been taken to consume the prey (both susceptible and infected) population by the predator. It also considers two types of time delays in this model, (i) one is disease transmission delay when susceptible prey moves to infected prey stage and (ii) other is predator maturation delay. As the predator consumes both susceptible and infected prey, so we have incorporated the fact in this model that disease in the prey species also effect on predator population growth. Here, positivity and boundedness of solutions of our proposed model have been discussed. Then calculating different equilibrium points, the stability of the system have been discussed around those. In this paper, the Hopf bifurcation analysis has been done for non-delayed system with respect to the crowding coefficient. Finally, some numerical simulations have been presented to validate our theoretical findings. © 2018 Elsevier Inc.

In medical sciences, diagnosis of a disease of a patient needs to be very potent and realizable. In this article we have given a mathematical approach that can help a doctor for making a decision about a patient whether he/she is a diabetic or not. In this regard, firstly we have introduced the notion of generalized trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy soft set. Secondly, we have employed a new decision making approach along with an algorithm to solve a generalized trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy soft set based decision making problem with linguistic variables intuitively. Then a real life decision making problem regarding the analysis of being a diabetic patient has been illustrated. Moreover, a comparative analysis has also been given to examine the feasibility of our proposed algorithm. © Springer Nature India Private Limited 2019.

The theory of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) plays an essential role to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity. However, the IFSs deal only with anticipation, not periodicity. But, complex IFSs (CIFS) can handle both uncertainties and periodicity at a time. Therefore, this paper focuses on a new multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) approach using Maclaurin symmetric mean (MSM) operator in connection with the CIFS setting. Then, we develop some CIF partitioned based MSM (CIFPMSM) operators and their weighted form by considering that all the criteria can be arranged into some groups. The proposed operators not only deal with the interrelationship among criteria but also deal with the partitioned relationship among criteria. We discuss the properties of these proposed operators and investigate their cases. Finally, a decision-making approach for radio frequency identification (RFID) for manufacturing companies is developed based on the proposed operators and compared the results with the existing method to show the application and feasibility of the proposed method. © The Author(s) under exclusive licence to Taiwan Fuzzy Systems Association 2024.

In the present market scenario, it is seen that commodity is attracted by the stock of the items. Considering this fact in this present work, the demand for the item is considered as stock dependent in an inventory control system, where the items are deteriorating in nature. When the number of items in the stock increases, the number of deteriorations also increases. Also, this is important to know for a retailer that when an order will be placed and when the order will be received from the supplier. So, the lead time has an important role in the inventory control system in this stock-dependent demand inventory model. Also, it is seen that the market price of any item may increase gradually with time. Considering this phenomena, the inflation has been incorporated in this work. Here, the proposed model has been analyzed in a finite time horizon. From our analysis, the optimal profit has been calculated for optimal replenishment period of each cycle. Also, depending on the changes in the parameters such as demand, stock, and deterioration, the changes in optimal profit have been analyzed numerically and graphically in the numerical section and the effects of inflation also has been analyzed in this section. As the parameters associated with the system are not always deterministic, so uncertainty arises in the model. To remove this uncertainty, the model has been extended to a fuzzy model considering the q-fuzzy membership function. The fuzzy model has been defuzzified using the Center of Gravity (COG) method and fuzzy extension principle. Also, the fuzzy model has been analyzed by numerical illustration and some sensitivity analysis have been shown corresponding to different values of q and different membership values of the fuzzy parameters. © 2023 The Author(s)

The article presents the history of the development of sports programming as a sport in Russia. The main stages of the formation of the legislative basis for this sport are given. The rationale and description of the process of training athletes in higher education institutions are given - possible traj ectories in the disciplines of 'algorithmic programming' and 'product programming', the influence of the development of sports programming on improving the quality of IT education. As an example, the organization of training students in the discipline of 'algorithmic programming' at the Lipetsk State Technical University is given. The activities of the Lipetsk regional branch of the All- Russian Sports Federation to popularize this sport including among students are also described. © 2024 IEEE.

Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) require the ability to generalize from previously observed attacks to detect even new or slight variation records of known attacks. As an intrusion detection system can be regarded as classification problem, we use Artificial Neural networks for detection. Using a benchmark study and set from the KDD (Knowledge Data Discovery and Data Mining) competition designed by DARPA and Multi-layered perceptron neural network, this Paper will aim to solve a multi class problem using MLP in to distinguish the attack records from normal ones, and also identify the attack type. In addition, it shows how to use Tikhonov regularization parameter to optimize the optimal network architecture in order to increase the system performance. The results show that the designed system is capable of classifying records with 98.34% accuracy with two hidden layers of neuron. Finally, the performance of the benchmark study is compared with our results.

Recently, in Mathematical and Computational Applications Journal Chiu et al. [1] and Chen and Chiu [2] propose an inventory model based on EPQ with rework to determine the replenishment lot size and the number of shipments for a vendor-buyer integrated production-inventory system. They solve the inventory problem by considering both variables as continuous. However, the number of shipments must be considered as discrete variable. In this direction, this paper revisits and solves the inventory problem of [1-2] considering the decision variables according to their nature. Two easy and improved algorithms are proposed which simplify and complement the research works of [1-2].
