L10-FePt-type bit-patterned media has provided a promising alternative for ultrahigh-density magnetic recording systems in the current digital era, but rapid fabrication of magnetic patterns with hyperfine bit islands is still challenging, especially with the target for miniaturization and scalable production simultaneously. Herein, Fe,Pt-containing block copolymers were utilized as single-source precursors for solution-processable patterning and subsequent generation of the demanding magnetic FePt dots by in situ pyrolysis. High-throughput nanoimprint lithography was initially employed to fabricate the predefined bit cells precisely,and then the intrinsic self-assembly of phase-separated block copolymers further drove the formation of accurate bit *** from the synergistic effect of top-down lithographic approach and bottom-up self-assembly, the customizable patterns could be achieved for large-scale mass production in targeted areas, but high-density isolated dots could also be accurately aligned along the patterned features after subsequent self-assembly. This reliable strategy would provide a good avenue to precisely construct ultrahigh-density magnetic data storage devices.

A class of stochastic Besov spaces BpL^(2)(Ω;˙H^(α)(O)),1≤p≤∞andα∈[−2,2],is introduced to characterize the regularity of the noise in the semilinear stochastic heat equation du−Δudt=f(u)dt+dW(t),under the following conditions for someα∈(0,1]:||∫_(0)^(t)e−(t−s)^(A)dW(s)||L^(2)(Ω;L^(2)(O))≤C^(t^(α/2))and||∫_(0)^(t)e−(t−s)^(A)dW(s)||_B^(∞)L^(2)(Ω:H^(α)(O))≤C..The conditions above are shown to be satisfied by both trace-class noises(withα=1)and one-dimensional space-time white noises(withα=1/2).The latter would fail to satisfy the conditions withα=1/2 if the stochastic Besov norm||·||B∞L^(2)(Ω;˙H^(α)(O))is replaced by the classical Sobolev norm||·||L^(2)(Ω;˙Hα(O)),and this often causes reduction of the convergence order in the numerical analysis of the semilinear stochastic heat *** this paper,the convergence of a modified exponential Euler method,with a spectral method for spatial discretization,is proved to have orderαin both the time and space for possibly nonsmooth initial data in L^(4)(Ω;˙H^(β)(O))withβ>−1,by utilizing the real interpolation properties of the stochastic Besov spaces and a class of locally refined stepsizes to resolve the singularity of the solution at t=0.

We study the complex band hybridization induced by nonreciprocal local resonances in photonic crystals. Composed of trimer unit cells, a two-dimensional magnetophotonic crystal with an analytically obtainable solution is considered. We find that a nonreciprocal spectral gap may appear without nonreciprocal transmission and that the imaginary parts of the complex wave vectors Im(k) may blow up at resonance to give extreme nonreciprocal transmission. We further show that, for a subwavelength lattice, the isolation ratio for the nonreciprocal transmission is determined solely by Im(k) instead of the extensively studied real part Re(k). Our finding contradicts the common belief that “spectral nonreciprocity [ω(k)≠ω(−k)] always implies nonreciprocal transmission.”
