The article deals with an important scientific task of developing and researching models and methods of deep learning for the purpose of detecting and recognizing objects in environmental images in agricultural intelligent transport systems. The direction and obstacles are determined based on the processing of video information generated by the cameras of the onboard system, taking into account the operations performed, such as plowing, harrowing, weeding and fertilizing. Electric power poles, trees, rocks, bird nests, animals, people and field roads are considered as obstacles. The relevance of the introduction of intelligent transport systems considered in the article is determined by the processes of digital transformation of the economy in this industry. The latter are defined by the concept of 'Smart Agriculture', one of the directions of which is 'Smart Field'. Digital technologies are being actively developed in this area. The system considered in this paper refers to Advanced Driver Assistance systems (ADAS). Existing technologies for detecting and recognizing objects in images can be divided into methods based on classical machine learning and methods based on deep learning. At the same time, the choice of an approach for specific application conditions is an independent scientific task that needs to be solved, especially in the case of creating new systems and considering new objects. © 2022 IEEE.

The development of computer vision systems stimulates the development of various applications in the field of image recognition. Methods and algorithms for image recognition in document processing systems play a crucial role. There is a lot of research in this direction, and one of the most difficult problems is handwritten text recognition. This includes the tasks of signature identification, which the authors of the paper consider. The article considers the main stages of signature analysis to establish authorship. They are the preprocessing of the signature, representation in a form convenient for applying author identification. A dataset containing sample signatures of various people is used. The described tools became means to develop software for preprocessing images of signatures, extracting characteristics and identifying the author of the signature.

One of the areas of information security of electronic systems is the physical protection of information. Includes techniques for maintaining the integrity of electrical information signals in electronic systems at the physical level and reducing electromagnetic emissions. Differential transmission of electrical signals is one of the most promising areas for building high-speed electronic systems from the point of view of physical information protection. To transmit such signals on printed circuit boards, a differential pair are used - two transmission lines with a strong coupling between them. In practice today, each line is a conventional coplanar, stripline, or microstrip transmission line. This article discusses a new type of communication lines on printed circuit boards in the form of twisted pairs. Structurally, the twisted pair is implemented in two layers of a multilayer printed circuit board using vias. The article analyzes distortions of information signals in connections of multilayer printed circuit boards in the form of twisted pairs. The results are compared with the distortion of information signals in coplanar interconnects.

Many modern information processing and control systems are based on computer vision technologies. In such systems, a number of tasks are solved, including the task of primary image processing. The primary processing is designed to transform the geometric, brightness and color characteristics of images, ensuring that they are brought to the best possible appearance for further analysis. Brightness conversion must be performed to implement image enhancement and restoration procedures. Threshold wavelet filtering is the basis of one of the frequently used approaches for solving these problems. To build the appropriate procedures in this article, it is proposed to use a weight model of the image. This model allows us to obtain estimates of the significance of the contribution of pixels to the total energy of the analyzed image. © 2023 IEEE.

A comparative analysis of measuring devices for the recording data process automation from the multichannel electrical signals system in reception and emission modes is carried out. The process of developing a general circuit for switching channels based on the multiplexor circuit is described. The process of developing a circuit for switching channels in a multichannel system and the choice of the emission and reception modes are described. The process of developing a circuit for switching channels with additional power amplification and control system signals amplification modules is described. The process of developing a switching circuit for an electrical signals multichannel system based on eight-channel relay modules is described. The implementation of the selected circuit based on eight-channel relay boards is presented. The choice of the most optimal switching scheme of a multichannel system of electrical signals in the emission and reception modes for use with the L-Card E-502 measuring module has been carried out. An example of using the developed switching scheme for a multichannel system of electrical signals based on eight-channel relay modules is presented. © 2021 IEEE.

The description of an experimental automated system of semantic design of (machine-building) products is given. In general, the proposed process of product design is considered stepwise: 1) technical creativity, 2) compilation of expert descriptions of professional product subject areas, 3) automatic synthesis of structural and parametric product properties and, finally, 4) synthesis of product form. The article focuses on the implementation of the second and third stages. Screen forms with explanations of data entry are given. The second stage is performed by professional subject matter experts: designers, technologists, material scientists, strength and design specialists, etc. The corresponding ontological descriptions of the subject areas are compiled. It is assumed that this knowledge will be taken into account when synthesizing the structural and parametric properties of the designed products. The third stage of the technology is carried out by the engineer. His main task is to come up with a name for the product and match it with the main design concept. Additionally, he can adjust the data ranges entered in the ontologies. Such actions also increase the efficiency of the automated system, reducing the search space for permissible parametric properties of the product. © 2022 SPIE

Hydropower plants play a major role in the global energy sector, generating up to 17% of all energy generated. Despite this, the spread of small hydropower is not as extensive, although it has an extremely large potential and is a competitive renewable energy source, as small hydropower plants have high efficiencies of up to 80%. The implementation of such energy complexes requires a preliminary assessment of their efficiency, for which atlases and data from existing GIS systems are most often used, but they may not have information on the potential of small rivers and streams, and do not allow for seasonal changes in the water landscape, which is particularly pronounced in mountainous terrain. Therefore, this paper proposes to examine the process of developing a small generating station suitable for use on small streams in mountainous terrain, which can be used as a means to collect data on the energy production profile of small mountain streams, which will help to establish seasonal dependencies and balance the energy system, achieving sustainable energy production through the involvement of other generation sources.

The article discusses the development of a system that provides more throughput up to 40 Gbit instead of 10 Gbit using the TWDM-PON (Time and Wavelength Division-Multiplexed Passive Optical Network) system, which was chosen by the international companies FSAN (Full-Service Access Network) and the ITU-T (Telecommunication Standardization Sector of the International Telecommunication Union) group. This system uses the time and frequency division of channels. In this article, this system is developed, and its operation is simulated at a distance of 40 km and with data transfer up to 40 Gbit/s. Also, the system was optimized and the optimal bandwidths for the optical and electrical filters were selected, as well as the optical power of the laser, etc. © 2022 IEEE.

Multilayer printed circuit boards are widely used in the development of modern electronic devices. But for their effective use it is often necessary to solve problems of electromagnetic compatibility. The application of interconnections of multilayer printed circuit boards in the form of twisted pairs is considered. Structurally, a twisted pair is implemented in two layers of a multilayer printed circuit board using vias. The paper analyzes electromagnetic crosstalk in the interconnections of multilayer printed circuit boards in the form of twisted pairs. The results are compared with the results of crosstalk analysis in coplanar interconnects. The results of the comparison show that the use of twisted pair leads to a reduction in crosstalk at the far end of the communication line.
