Integrated energy system is a useful tool for achieving the"dual-carbon"goal. In order to explore the demand-side adjustable potential of the comprehensive energy system for lowering carbon emissions, this paper proposes an optimal operation model that accounts for demand response under a carbon trading mechanism. Initially, the demand response is classified into two categories based on the characteristics of the load response. Additionally, a carbon trading mechanism is built for the integrated energy system by allocating the carbon emission quotas for the system using the baseline technique, which is free of charge. The actual carbon emissions from the gas turbine and gas boiler are also taken into account. Ultimately, a low-carbon optimization operation model of the integrated energy system is established, with the goal of minimizing the total cost of energy purchase, carbon trading, and operation and maintenance. The suggested model's validity is then confirmed through four types of typical scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

Signal propagation is a prevalent research topic for an abound-ing number of complex network applications. The nonlinear characteristics of complex networks determined by complex interactions and topology re-quire suitable agent-based modeling and simulation frameworks. This paper presents a comparison of two such frameworks in terms of usability and performance for studying signal propagation in complex networks. To enhance the operational flexibility of active distribution network (ADN) with high proportion renewable energy, this paper proposes a flexibility resource planning model considering the optimal dispatch of demand response. Firstly, the flexibility in supply side and demand side are analyzed. Then, a two-layer planning model of flexibility resources is established, which includes the planning layer and operating layer. The planning layer introduces the system comprehensive security index to evaluate the system security, aiming at the optimal annual comprehensive cost of the system. The operation layer introduces the flexibility insufficiency rate as the system flexibility evaluation index, and the network loss and renewable energy curtailment are counted as economic penalties, which is aiming at the optimal annual operation cost of the system. The proposed planning model is solved with particle swarm optimization algorithm. Case studies on the IEEE 33-node distribution system show that the proposed model can effectively reduce the network loss and the renewable generation curtailment. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper develops a performance improvement control strategy based on residual generator to improve the control performance of the multi-inverter parallel system in the presence of load disturbances and line parameter perturbation. This study establishes the state space models of the electrical network and inverters to analyze the performance degradation issues. The model-match technique and multi-agent consistency algorithm are used to design the dynamic and steady-state performance improvement controllers, respectively. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed control method. © 2023 IEEE.

With the prevalence of new wearable devices and personal sensing, model fitting from real-world human-generated data has become a topic of interest in the fields of bioengineering, sports science, and medical engineering. In this study we analyze a fitting procedure based on evolutionary learning for human heart rate during treadmill exercise. We propose a new fitness function for the genetic algorithm based on the Pearson correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination. This study utilizes real-world experimental data collected for linearity analysis, baseline model fitting, and validation, and includes statistical analysis of validation data. Results show that compared with a classical fitness function based on the root mean of square error, the proposed function is suitable for model fitting. © 2024, Politechnica University of Bucharest. To solve the power imbalance problem caused by the difference between the equivalent impedance of the inverter and the line impedance, and the power quality problem caused by the disturbance of load mutation, unbalanced load and nonlinear load, this paper proposes a closed-loop feedback dynamic compensation strategy based on the equivalent virtual impedance of the residual generator. Firstly, based on the parallel topology of inverters, a quasi-steady-state model is established on the dq axis. Based on the model, the power imbalance caused by the difference of output impedance and line impedance of different inverters and the power quality problems caused by load switching, unbalanced load, nonlinear load and other disturbances in parallel inverters are ***, a residual generator is established based on the inverter model. A virtual impedance equivalent controller Qvir(S) based on the residual generator is designed by the Luenberger observer principle. The disturbance information is fed back in real time through the feedback structure, and then the virtual impedance is adjusted to realize the power sharing of the inverter parallel system. Then, based on Euler parameterization and coprime factorization theory, a dynamic compensation architecture based on residual generator is designed. The transfer function of the dynamic compensation controller Qcom (S) is obtained by model matching to realize the steady-state operation of parallel inverters and the improvement of system power quality. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed architecture is verified on the experimental platform. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper investigates the stabilization of underactuated vehicles moving in a three-dimensional vector *** vehicle’s model is established on the matrix Lie group SE(3),which describes the configuration of rigid bodies globally and *** focus on the kinematic model of the underactuated vehicle,which features an underactuation form that has no sway and heave *** compensate for the lack of these two velocities,we construct additional rotation matrices to generate a motion of rotation coupled with ***,the state feedback is designed with the help of the logarithmic map,and we prove that the proposed control law can exponentially stabilize the underactuated vehicle to the identity group element with an almost global domain of ***,the presented control strategy is extended to set-point stabilization in the sense that the underactuated vehicle can be stabilized to an arbitrary desired configuration specified in ***,simulation examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the stabilization controller.

With the rapid development of information technologies such as digital twin, extended reality, and blockchain,the hype around "metaverse" is increasing at astronomical speed. However, much attention has been paid to its entertainment and social functions. Considering the openness and interoperability of metaverses, the market of quality inspection promises explosive growth. In this paper, taking advantage of metaverses, we first propose the concept of Automated Quality Inspection(Auto QI), which performs integrated inspection covering the entire manufacturing process, including Quality of Materials, Quality of Manufacturing(Qo M), Quality of Products, Quality of Processes(Qo P), Quality of systems, and Quality of Services(Qo S). Based on the scenarios engineering theory, we discuss how to perform interactions between metaverses and the physical world for virtual design instruction and physical validation feedback. Then we introduce a bottomup inspection device development workflow with productivity tools offered by metaverses, making development more effective and efficient than ever. As the core of quality inspection,we propose Quality Transformers to complete detection task,while federated learning is integrated to regulate data *** summary, we point out the development directions of quality inspection under metaverse tide.

This paper introduces a new variational Gaussian filtering approach for estimating the state of a nonlinear dynamic system. We first assume that the predictive distribution of the state is Gaussian and derive an iterative method for updating the state posterior in the natural parameter space through KullbackLeibler divergence minimization. The obtained update rule is the same as that of the conjugate-computation variational inference technique in Bayesian learning. The derivation here is simpler and more insightful. We then impose a Wishart prior on the inverse of the state prediction covariance to take into account the impact of approximating the state predictive distribution using a Gaussian density on the state posterior estimation. The prediction covariance is identified jointly with the state using variational inference and the established state posterior update rule to achieve the desired Gaussian filtering. Simulation study examines the performance of the proposed filtering framework in target tracking based on bearing and range measurements. © 2024 ISIF.
